First time here but won't be the last . . . How have I been over looking this location? Came with a friend to watch a movie and was pleasantly surprised by the seating. It was a smaller theater with lounge seating which created a more intimate environment. When I arrived there was one really long line, a line with no one (found out that was the alcohol line) and then a few people kinda standing around where I had to ask are they open. Also the bathroom needs to be monitored a little more - I heard one lady in a panic becaus there was no toilet paper in her stall. But overall, I'll be back! read more

They accept Apple Pay at the counter unlike some theatres. Friendly service and clean. Small arcade and games in the lobby. Popcorn and Coke is good and the kids combo popcorn comes with fruit snacks and a drink. Their nachos are also good and I like that it's all individually wrapped and you can put it together yourself. The theatre recliners work and they're not sticky or greasy. Restrooms were clean. There were some moths though, that were flying above us going towards the screen. read more

Not a bad place to watch movies. The food lines actually moved pretty quick which for some reason never seem to, and the seats were actually the best part. The seats are almost double wide and decline all the way back to the point of sleep comfort. I like that you can get two seats together and no arm rest in the middle to separate you so you can comfortably snuggle with your loved one, take a blanket and enjoy a movie as if you were in your own home. read more

Very hidden & rare jewel... I use to come hear years ago and was not really thrilled about this theater at all. Mainly because it was not really that big & there was no stadium steating. So of course my family and I started venturing out to other theaters to get that experience. However one day we we're kinda forced to come to this location due to time and boy we're we surprised. The have done a total facelift and it is Awesome! They have recliner seats and the are so comfy! Plus they are leather and will make you fall asleep if not careful... I will be coming here more often as I really can't get with Studio Movie any longer. This is just perfect for what I'm looking for my family. It is very clean the staff is friendly and not to crowded. So this will be my choice until for awhile.... read more

Likely the biggest mistake I made was seeing a movie on Friday Shopping Madness Day. Though, I did notice some things that are likely quite germane to this theater specifically. First, it is directly off of 20 , exiting Carrier and turning onto West(something). The traffic here is highly congested. It is behind the Cheddar's. Parking here is atrocious. There are a few businesses that I will avoid due to the in and out traffic and parking (Panda Express off Cockrell Hill, Jack in the Box on Abrams, Wal Mart by the Stadium...) this joins that list. I waited 4 cycles at the light to get back on Carrier. Speaking of parking... The spots are a bit strange. So much so, in fact, that I witnessed a car parked next to a car (in the lines) pull out and scrape the tire well against another car (also in the lines). Oddly, dude just drove away. Not one patron flinched, though many saw it. The inside of this venue - the game room, concession area - is quite small. The seating once you get your ticket torn is virtually non-existent. The self serve ticket kiosks were all broken but 2, and most just required a manager PIN. I saw 3 managers on duty, but none attending to this. The calibration was off as well, so you basically have to push to the side of each button for action. I was there at 5 for a 6:40 show of Green Book, and it was still almost sold out. Two tickets totaled a bit over $23. So, you are likely thinking, "Why 4 stars, Mr. Steal Yo Check In?" ... The concession staff was incredibly nice and responsive, as well as the gentleman who tore the tickets. The cleaning staff said hello as we passed, and they were certainly keeping it clean. The theater itself was quite nice. Comfy seats where the armrests come up (Ayyyyyeee) and you can recline them. The seats looked new, clean and were elevated just enough that visibility was not an issue, despite the tall man in front of me. I avoided the Parks 18 because of the mall, but I may have been better off going there, logistically. However, the staff and the cleanliness of the venue made it such an enioyable experience. Unless they expand, there will always be this catch 22 - if you arrive before your show, you may not get a seat. Though, if you arrive early enough to get a great seat, there may not be a suitable place to wait for your show to start. read more

They charge higher prices then the sister locations in grapevine or vista ridge. They have no stadium seating and the place simply looks really old and outdated. They seemed to have not enough people working or the people simply sucked. The seats were really funk looking and didn't recline at all. I think I have been to dollar theaters that looked better then this pastel colored 1980's themed theater. I was pleasantly surprised that the sound and screen were equivalent to other theaters. Why not invest in keeping up the rest of this location? What's wrong with a little paint around here? The guy at the front was cool- it says John on my ticket stub. He ask if I wanted a combo. They have what he said was like a large drink and a bucket of popcorn that was $12. You know how you go to the movies and you see people with those reusable cups and buckets. That is what I bought and both will be $3 a piece the next time I go. We will not be back to this theater. Buying tickets took forever as you had to buy them from the snack bar and there were only a couple of workers on hand to do both. This is the best theater in the area. The reclining seats will ruin you for any traditional theater and makes the movie going experience fantastic. I and my wife went to see a movie at this theater this evening. I know it's 2017 and more and more of America is supposed to be getting used to receiving poor service but this Cinemark Theater and their lackluster employees have convinced me to never watch another movie at this Grand Prairie establishment. The only employee who smiled at us was the young lady at the ticket counter, she actually was pleasant to deal with. The two young girls at the concession counter made it clear with their attitudes that we were a bother and they absolutely did not want to be there. While enduring them we were listening to the manager arguing with another customer over an issue with their tickets. It gets funnier when we turn to go to our theater and walk past an employee dragging a dustpan along the floor and waving his broom in front of it all the while never actually sweeping any of the trash or spilled popcorn up. There was so many stepped on popcorn kernels on the floor that it seemed the tile was polka dotted! I was excited to find the theater was very clean and they do have the reclining seats ( will miss them ) ! How can you operate a business like a movie theater and refuse to teach your employees customer service! Even if they did teach customer service to their employees they have no program in place to insure it is in practice! Avoid this theater! read more

Went and saw the new Jurassic world tonight. Movie was outstanding and the theatre itself was very good however the food and snacks were absolutely inedible. I understand the cost but the pretzel bites where burnt, the so called wings looked like they were store bought microwavable and were also burnt beyond recognition.. when we questioned them with the young lady at the counter she chuckled and said that's our food.. guess from now on we will be sneaking stuff in like everyone else does.. read more
