Can't go wrong with Comfy seats, snacks and cheap tickets for the movies! On a Saturday afternoon, decided to hit movies for a timeout and seen Gladiator 2, and Red One! Both were good! Action went crazy for the two! Cinemark Movies was clean and very well kept. Plenty of snacks and candy. Purchased our tickets at the box office than online which was cheaper surprisingly. $14 for two people. Check em out! read more

It's pretty bad when you have to go to Frankfort to watch a movie because the theatre's in Bourbonnais/Bradley are lacking in every way. Take note of the Emagine Frankfort. A packed theatre that provides an ample amount customer service and hospitality. Unlike Movies 10 that cannot even handle making coffee. Very sad. Unlike Movies 10, there were plenty of people to fill the seats, unlike M10 where there are maybe 5 people whom attend a show at any one time. It must be pretty bad when a person will drive so far for a movie. And don't think you're that much ahead of the Paramount and Meadowview, that is a low bar. It should be bulldozed with the entire mall. Clearly, ownership does not respect their customers and potential customers. I would love to read a spin on my writing. read more

As I exited the building my disabled wife started experiencing a medical emergency. A young Cinemark EMPLOYEE and a person he was walking with jumped to assist me with her as I am also disabled. Both these young gentleman aided me in getting her into my vehicle for a rush to the hospital to get assistance for her needs. These two MEN sprang into action and made the difference between LIFE and DEATH (Physicians words in ER) by aiding us and letting me get her to an ER well before EMS would have arrived when timing was CRITICAL. Most "people" look the other way and won't assist anybody now a days.... It is REMARKABLE and COMMENDABLE these two men jumped forward and assisted in a time of need. I will be forever grateful to them and am extremely happy Cinemark hires people who willing assist others! read more

Just returned from a movie there. We had a $25 gift card from Fandango we have tried to use on several ocasions in other theaters but eveyone said it was no good. But an employee, Maggie, (I think) took the time to make it work for us this evening. read more

Every time we have seen a movie here it has been a great experience. The seats are in great shape, unlike the Kankakee movie theater, and I have never had an issue here. I went here a couple weeks ago to see eternals. The speaker sounded blown and I went out after about a half an hour and told the manager to see if they could fix the sound. The manager said he would look into it and he would go up there and try and fix it. During the entire movie, the sound was never correct and I think they had something wrong with their speaker physically. I didn't enjoy that at all and it was the first time that I had gone to the movies and over a year because of covid. This past Friday went to see nightmare alley at Paramount theater in Kankakee. About halfway during the movie it just stopped in the screen went blank and it was like that for about 5 minutes. And then after about 5 minutes the movie started back up with no issue. And then as we left after the movie the manager came up to each one of us that were in the theater and gave us a gift card which gave us one free movie. He apologized because the movie went out for an interrupted our viewing experience. So my visit for eternals was a bus in the movie was ruined for me because the sound was bad during the whole film. They didn't do anything for me. I went to see nightmare alley and had a slight inconvenience the only lasted 5 minutes, and the manager of this theater gave us free tickets to the next movie. Movies 10 needs to learn from these guys because that is good customer service. read more

Manager made a mistake with my ticket and made me pay twice, 40 dollars for me and my girl to see Deadpool cause the manager didn't wanna admit she wrong. She then threatened to kick me out when the other manager had to get her and help me finish my transaction to see my movie. I came out to refil my drink two times and both times she was talking about me to her employees and made them all mad at me when I paid double the price for tickets. I worked at cinemark from 9/14-11/14. If there is left over popcorn at the end of the night, they bag it and use it the following morning. The butter is literally oil. Employees aren't made to clean the butter pump correctly so you're eating left over oil from who knows when. There is mold everywhere. When my friend had to clean under the sink in the back, she lifted a popcorn popper door and as soon as she did that, the entire theater smelled of amonia. The employees are also treated like crap. I was sexually harassed and nothing was done. The manager still works there. This is why I left and no one should give them the money. I forced to remove pictures of the mold because my friend was threatened of loosing her job if she didn't have me remove them. What's that say about this place? Makes you wonder what else they're trying to hide. read more

I recently went to this theater on a Sunday at 11:50. The sign said matinee $5.50 before 1pm. The ticket agent told me the price for the show I was seeing was $6.75. I asked why and she said that's what the register says. I wrote to the company and they said its not for shows before 1:00 just for First Showing of the day....Sign does not say that. read more

A lot of hate on this place from everyone in the area. Probably a little too much, honestly, but I'm not going to say this is the best movie theatre to exist by any means. I've never been to a movie that didn't have a mob of local teenagers being teenager-y and nuisance-y during a movie. Multiple times I've straight-up told some to shut up. Teenagers are obviously a necessary evil of any movie theatre; however, this is probably a problem that could be controlled if the movie staffed more than 1 or 2 people at a time. I've ever seen such an understaffed movie theatre in my short 22 years of life. It takes about 20-30 minutes just to get into the theatre because they generally have one person running the cash register and concessions (and that person usually looks as if they couldn't give a crap about their job). The only real reason I come here is because it's so close to me. If I ever put more than 5 minutes' thought into going to see a movie, I'd probably find a different theatre. But that's where they get you, I guess. read more

I went a few days ago and a lovely girl in concessions told me what the best deals were. she was VERY nice when I bought too much to carry she carried my stuff to my seat for me. she made me feel welcomed and happy to be there, when I was sitting down she didn't feel rushed to get back she made sure I was comfortable, I asked her what her name was. shout out to Catherine for making my whole night a night to remember. truly one of the best employees and very kind. i cant wait to come back again and watch more movies! read more

The more I go the more I love this theater. They were closed when I first moved into the area. Once they reopened the theater options expanded 200%! The staff is always helpful, opening the doors when my hands are filled with popcorn and drinks. The management is always present, helping the staff at concessions when more customers arrive. A huge positive is that you can order tickets and pick your seats ahead of time. No more driving like a maniac hoping you can get a decent seat. The negatives: Sometimes the popcorn doesn't have any salt. More concession options would be a plus. Again, the staff is so helpful it makes these negatives a wash. read more

What a horrible dump run by incompetent and lazy teenagers. First off, if you're going to close the box office and sell tickets at the concession stand, put up a sign that says that one line is for tickets only and the other one is for snacks that way people don't dan in line for 15 minutes just to find out they have to go stand in the other line for another 15 minutes. Also, I don't like 3D movies. Many people don't. In fact, they make wife sick. Literally. So maybe somewhere on the poster out front or the signage inside or in your ad in the paper (all of which we checked) you may want to mention this fact so customers don't drive all the way out to your crappy theater and find out that both the first movie that they wanted to see and their second choice are (surprise!) literally unwatchable to certain people. And when I mention this to the sleepy-eyed teenager behind the counter, please try to muster a little more than a uncaring shrug. Avoid this mess of a theater at all costs. read more

Sadly I've watched this theater just degrade over the years. I worked there a decade ago and conditions were at least tolerable then, or perhaps I was just too young and naive, as the last few times I've gone here, it has been harder and harder to justify going back. It has been ages since they've seen a cent from me for concessions. While paramount and meadowview can both offer free refills on soda and popcorn, here you'll find none of that. The seats are the same cramped, uncomfortable styles that were there a decade plus ago, and now they want to start evening prices for movies at 4 PM, despite the other two in town still being at 6. I live a good half hour from this theater, and I'm quickly reaching the point that if I have to go to Cinemark to see a movie, I'm heading up to Joliet. It is only 10 minutes more and, while yes, a couple dollars more, at least have comfortable, modern seating. read more

The recliners are comfortable. The sound is of good quality. I do enjoy the recliners at Paramount and Meadowview a bit more. My one complaint is that the movie ALWAYS starts a minimum of 20 minutes after the actual start time. There's ALWAYS a minimum 20 minutes of previews. It'd be nice if they showed the previews before the start time. It'd make it easier to figure out what time you'll be out of the theater. read more

Great place for movies and hanging out. Really comfortable seats. Very nice customer service. Nearly every single employee is nice and friendly. I recommend going here for going to a movie. I've been here many times I have never once had a problem. Even once when I lost my ticket they still let me see the movie. (Although I'm quite sure the employee remembered me buying the ticket in real life) generally a great theater and I never once had a problem. It's also very nice and clean and never has a bad smell. The bathrooms are very nice but there's always a urinal that is out of order which is not a big deal. Still very good and I highly recommend to see movies here. read more

I haven't been to the mall for a movie in a long time. I hated the plastic arm rests, the cramped conditions and and sticky floors. Not to mention how small the seats were. Went yesterday to see Suicide Squad and I have to say, it has seriously changed!! And all for the better. There are now reclining seats that are bigger, padded, and wide enough for even the biggest bottoms. Now you can choose your seats ahead of time and know you are going to be where you want, and comfortable. Not only have they upped the comfort, they also improved the food. It used to be soda and pop corn. Not it's hot dogs, nachos, jerky, cappuccino, iced tea, hot tea, etc. You can even get a bottle of soda instead of a cup. The prices are still out of this world high. But all in all I would say it is a MUCH better experience. I would reccomened this to friends and family. read more

Went here with a friend today, and left for another theater! We arrived 45 minutes early, thinking we'd mall walk before the show. Nope. There was a very long line, and only one person working it. We noticed some people leaving, with kids, saying The Secret Life of Pets only had three random seats left. Another said the system was down, which explained why the lines weren't moving (they opened another). It took almost 15 minutes for them to announce the Pets ticket status, and they never said anything about the system being down. They didn't have any plan in place to accommodate the system being down. I know technology can be fickle, but if you don't want people going elsewhere you need a back up plan to serve your customers. People behind us were getting anxious because their show was about to start. We'd been in line for about 25 minutes at that point, and decided to go catch our movie at another theater. I haven't been here yet since the upgrade. The friend I was with has, and says the new seats are nice but the capacity for each theater had been slashed in half. Hands down, the worst theater in town. If a movie is playing here I want to see, I will normally gladly drive 45 minutes to Marcus in Orland Park. Went to see a movie here today bc we were bored and now I remembered why I hate it so much. Only 2 workers behind the counter on Labor Day weekend and the concession line was all the way to the door, super small screens, the seats are so uncomfortable my ass fell asleep and the bathrooms are disgusting. Absolute worst. Avoid like the plague and maybe they'll shut down and be replaced by a decent theater. read more

Call me a cheapskate, but why on earth would your on site policy be different than your online policy? And why would you charge for a 1 year old? finally upgraded some stuff but now you cant go to a movie without planning in advance especially if u have a bug family. Everytime we go there are only single seats left. Who wants to sit alone its nuts! They need to be like amc theater in new lennox we have always taken the trip up there, better sound, seats, and concessions. Omg! I was a manager here 18 years ago when it first opened and worked there for two years. All I can say is wow! What a total upgrade Cinemark has done. Recliner seats are awesome. The old purple and black with neon accents motif is gone and replaced by a modern tan and maroon color scheme. Picture presentation was terrific. First rate in brightness and clarity. The sound was equally great. Digital surround sound was clean, clear and accurate. read more

It was awful! I bought my tickets and they were expensive! Then I went in to sit in my seat and someone was sitting there. There was no where else for me and my partner to sit. It was 2 minutes into the movie and we walked out, I asked if I could get my money back and they would not refund me also the bathrooms were disgusting so in conclusion I will NEVER visit this movie theater again. Every seat in this theater is like the worst seats in most other theaters. It's like your sitting in the front row and have to look up to see the screen. This place stinks. And who puts an aisle down the middle of the theater? The middle is the best seat. Not at this dump. It's a triple wide aisle down the middle. Worst theater I've ever been to. read more

Besides the decent price, there's not much good to say about this theater. The seats are uncomfortable after a while. The projectors are old and still use film causing poor picture quality loaded with artifacts, not to mention sometimes it's blurry and off center. The sound was just as bad. There is no bass at all and the main channel sounds mono. Cheap home theater systems sound better. Until this theater gets updated to 2009 technology with digital projectors and Digital 5.1 surround sound, I'd rather travel a little up north and a pay a little more then go here. read more

The last several times we visited this theater, everything was constantly bad. The prices are comparable to other movie theaters in the area, but the quality is not. The popcorn often tastes stale, they don't offer free refills and it is overpriced, even by movie theater standards. The theaters are dinky and you can hear the movies in the surrounding theaters. The last two times we saw movies there, there were problems with sound and projection. When we brought the issue to the attention of management, we were met with poor excuses and bad attitudes, as well as trying to make as if there wasn't a problem. (When was the last time you saw a movie where all sounds cut out, even when the actors' mouths were moving, then suddenly cut back in, in the middle of a sentence? Management told us that this was a cinematic feature of the movie. Wow.) We vowed never to return to this theater. When movies we want to see come to this theater, we drive 45 minutes to an hour away to see them. And it is SO much better than going to the Cinemark Movies 10! read more

Every time I go to this theater something happens from the fire alarms going off (3 separate occasions in the past year) to the sound or picture going out during the movie. The ticket lines are always long and on a Sunday afternoon my family and I have had to wait in line for food for 30 minutes missing the first 15 or so of the movie. Countless times I've talked to a manager whom I've only ever seen standing by the ticket taker while the lobby floors are covered in popcorn and sticky from my guess is spilt pop. Not to mention one manager I talked to stunk so bad I was trying so hard not to gag and throw up. I don't know what there policy is on personal hygiene but no one should smell worse than the stinky dirty bathrooms. They place there most popular movies in the smaller theaters. The floor in the theaters are always sticky. The popcorn stail and the soda flat. They just got over so I ordered one and the machine wasn't working. How do you expect to sell something when it doesn't work? They are terrible at keeping kids from sneaking in to see r rated movies. On a number of occasions we've left the movie because they don't stop kids from coming into the theater and being loud and obnoxious. It seems to be the same crowd every time They recently changed general managers and I thought maybe it would get better hut it only seems to be worse. From what I've heard this new Gm closed down the last 2 theaters she worked at.. Its only a matter of time before this one closes too. I will drive my family to orland or Joliet to see a movie. Anywhere else so my family and I don't have to deal with the incompetents of this theater. read more
