7/19/26- Saw The Odyssey in Theater 14. It was an afternoon showing and nearly sold out. Theater and seats were clean. Sound and visuals sounded and looked good. Used my reward points to upgrade to a D-Box seat. The D-Box seatceorked as expected. At concession, the employee was friendly and pretty quick. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. When I got to the podium, Beau was at that position. Beau recognized me and was close to remembering my nsme. He knew it started with the letter J. Beau is always welcoming, friendly, and helpful. My hands were full so Beau opened the theater door for me. Inside the hallway of the theater, I saw Kyker. He was just in front of me and seen me speaking with Beau. When I rounded the corner, he turned and said Hi to me by name. Kyler was delivering food to a customer already seated in the theater. We had a little chat as we walked in. I used to work for an airline as a customer contact employee. It was encouraged to try to remember names of regular frequent passengers. So for me when an employee remembers my nsme I truly appreciate it. Especially coming to this theater as often as I do. I dont always see Beau and Klyer, but when I do I appreciate that they are on duty. BTW, Congratulations Kyler on your promotion. read more

First time being in a movie theater in what feels like a decade. I opted to drive to Tracy, as the seats are better than Manteca. Always surprised to see something still operating in malls that have long been graveyards. I went to a matinee showing- so not busy but a bit slow moving. Service was friendly enough and while stalls were without toilet paper before the first movie even began, areas at least appeared clean. The reclining lounger is what will continue to bring me back to the Tracy theater (whenever I end up finding another movie worth a theater visit)- especially for some of the ones with longer run times. I like that you don't feel like you have people sitting right on top of you on either side and no one lingering directly behind. read more

First time going to this theater and it feels like I'm back in the 2000s. The theater aesthetics is very different to other Cinemark theaters, AMC, and Regal. The chairs are least can be elevated and comfortable to sit on. The audio is modern. There's an option to have snacks delivered to your seats but I wouldn't recommend this. It's somewhat convenient if you'll be bringing kids with you to the theaters but the snacks don't show till five minutes before the movie started. The popcorn was also saltier than the bag we ordered at the concession stand. The bathrooms are at least clean. read more

Idk what it is, but MacKenzie needs additional training in customer service. People come to the movies to have a good time but then you're met with a worker's poor attitude like hers. We were 2nd in line to get popcorn behind a group of young guys. I observed her getting their popcorn from the machine that had popcorn that seemed to have been sitting a while. Meanwhile there was another machine next to this one actively popping fresh popcorn. Not sure why she didn't serve them from that one. So it was our turn, and MacKenzie just looked at us and said nothing. No hello, no hi,..just silent. I did say to her, "hi how are you" to break the awkward silence. My husband asked for a large popcorn and then I added that I wanted the popcorn from THAT machine, and I pointed to the one behind her that was **actively** popping fresh popcorn. my husband didn't know I was going to request that. She turned to look and then looked right back at me so serious as if her face was saying, why does it matter which machine i get it from... My husband felt her seriousness too b/c then he jumped in and said, "that one has fresh popcorn". I was like okay yess so my husband saw what I did as well. She just looked at us and rang us up. All she asked us was if we wanted butter. Please train her better. I don't expect her to be fake friendly and all that, but at a minimum say hello. The seats are comfy and recline. There's lots of rooms and a second concession stand further in so you don't have to come all the way up to the main. I have never seen the second one in operation b/c I guess there's just not that many customers at that time to warrant its operation. However on our way out, we saw them setting up. read more

Cinemark - please find the 3-4 young men working the ticket booth and cleaning the theaters on Sunday 9/21/25 from 6:30-11pm and GIVE THEM A RAISE!! Huge praise to these young employees at the theater who treated my father and our family with such warmth and kindness. On multiple occasions, the young men observed my dad had a walking stick (he's currently suffering a sports injury from his work as a tennis instructor and has an upcoming surgery), and they ran from their station and opened the theater door for him. This happened when he arrived and he also told me it happened when he had to leave the movie to use the restroom. He also arrived a little early and they were still cleaning the theaters but allowed him to sit in the front row while they were cleaning. They also cleaned the theater so well, efficiently and never made my dad or our family feel like we were in their way even though we were LOL. They were just so sweet and all smiles. My son was also there earlier in the day and left his baseball shades, they found them. It may all seem like small gestures but these are the most meaningful. What touched my family and especially my dad wasn't just that they opened a door--it was that they saw my father and responded with warmth and respect. This is deeply human and rare in today's divided world that is on full speed. Sadly, we dont see enough of it amongst grown adults! So looks like our youth can teach us a thing or two about what it means to slow down for a sec, be human and show up in compassion! These young men were just so kind, polite, and helpful--such a beautiful reminder that contrary to what misconceptions are out there we can have faith in our youth. Simple exchanges of respect and compassion go a long way and we need more of this in today's world. All that any of us really want in life is to be seen and loved. These young men embody what it looks like to see one another and show love and care for each other. Thankful for these young men and the example theyre setting for others. p.s. cherry on top this all happened at our fave theater, we already love it here bc of the reasonable prices, clean setting, kind staff and they bring your food to you in the theater if its not ready. they hired a good team here. read more

This is our go to theater. We live in Lathrop and definitely enjoy watching movies here. It's always clean and the seats are comfortable. The staff that we have encountered are always friendly and professional. The deals in the app are great and if you see movies often enough you can earn some decent rewards. The theaters are smaller so you never feel crammed in like sardines and it makes it easier for the staff to keep clean. Dbox movies are worth the extra if it's a good action movie. I wished the mall that it's connected to wasn't so run-down and had better air flow/AC. The theater itself is air conditioned, and staff are usually nice and accommodating. I brought a group of 20 teens for movie night and it went smoothly. I like the chair upgrades that AMC Manteca does not offer. I love going to watch movies at the Cinemark in Tracy. I can buy my tickets online as well as my snacks. I bring my blanket and lay back and relax. The negative side is that it is not big so there is a limited number of movies. Also, the website does not have all the snacks that you can actually purchase while there which then makes me wait in line to buy what I couldn't online. I go as often as I can. Haven't been here in awhile due to it being old and almost run down. If I was the owner I would highly consider moving the theater to where the old Savemart used to be on 2005 N Tracy Blvd; as they have more space and are not cramed in the corner of a mall. Also you have the chance to stand out to the city of Tracy, as a company who cares about people watching a movie in an old fashioned theater, while competing with other theatre company's such as Regal, AMC, etc. Furthermore, I give this theatre a 2 stars based on how iconic it is, also hoping to possibly hear about this location moving before I possibly leave Tracy. read more

Is this place the ritz? No. But it's pretty solid considering we're in Tracy. The theaters were all updated with reclining seats a few years ago, and the staff does a good job at keeping the entire establishment clean. Every time I come here the halls are empty, the lines are non existent and the theaters are full of open seats. Tracy residents- I get that it's cool to run over the hill and have dinner or drinks served with your movie. But support TWO local business and get your cocktails before the movie starts and you'll be golden. Not having to drive over the hill is worth something and I'd hate to loose the convenience of this local establishment. read more

First time patronizing this movie theater - it was a little weird to find our way In I'm not used to going to a movie theater with the only way to enter is actually through the mall which I was not aware of and had a hard time finding the entrance as I was looking for the main door outside of the mall which there is not one so be like me and drive around thinking your at the back side of the theater and the entrance is on the other side because it's not you have to go into the malls entrance to get to the front entrance of the movie theater Once we located the entrance we were good from there we already purchased our tickets online so we went right in instead for waiting at the ticket booth. They also have a kiosk machine in the lobby where you can purchased movie tickets also if the ticket booth is to busy. We walked right in and had to stand in line for our concession goodies we ordered popcorn / dips / soda and water it was a little under $20 for our snacks we walked around to the movie entrance and scanned our tickets from my app on my phone and went to our seats. The seats were leather reclining seats a few of the chairs I walked by did have a lot of wear and tear on the seats and my husbands seat had popcorn down the sides and back do chair so the theater was not cleaned very well before we entered for our movie the seats were comfortable and recline enough for my liking only thing I was missing was a tray at my chair. My hometown theater has reclining leather seats with trays attached which make it very convenient for my snacks and carried in items like purse etc. The theater did get crowded it was almost sold out I think pretty much any seat you chose you will be able to see and enjoy the movie there was only 1 concession stand opened with 3 people working 1 person was taking orders 1 person was off to the side maybe fulfilling app placed orders and the 3rd person was in the back maybe making some food I felt bad for the 1 cashier because we were in a long line and several others were still behind us waiting to place their orders. I always automatically knock a star off because of concession stand prices. How do they get away with what they charge for a drink & popcorn. Luckily I have rewards with them. So I save at least a few bucks. Not much, but it's something. The theatre is located inside the mall. Which I totally don't love, luckily it's right at the entrance, the food court is located right next to it too, so that's a plus get food before or after the movie. Save yourself a lot of money. We came in around 9:45pm on a Saturday with our babygirl to watch Abominable. Is that horrible? Lol. Are we bad parents for that? Because it was so late. But we were all up, so we figured we'd go. We got a theatre where you pick your seat, so recliners!!! Yasssss. My favorite. It sucks that we had to pay for my girl. She's only 2.5 and she always ends up cuddled on my lap. So her chair is honestly pointless. But theaters of course just want your money. The movie was great! We loved it. Theatre was clean for a Saturday night. Pretty empty inside too. I guess nobody goes to the movies on a Saturday night anymore. Oh well lol. Lastly I take another star off because their womans & mens (or so my fiancée said) bathrooms were disgusting! This was my first time going to Cinemark theater here in Tracy and I must admit I wasn't impressed 1. Cleanliness = 3 Stars as it was just ok! Bathrooms where dirty, stalls out of order and NO soap 2. Remember the day where you buy the large popcorn that came with 1 free refill ? WELL NO MORE ! Very disappointed that they charged more and No more free refills on the popcorn! 3. Chairs = 1 Star - they where old and torn 4. Service = 4 stars as the service was just ok . The box office guy was awesome but the rest of the staff was just ok not very impressed! Overall I'm not sure I'll be returning to the theater anytime soon as with the cost of everything going up and getting way less for your money I'll rent Redbox instead! It's just not worth it! An amazing theater with a pretty good selection of choices for food. Being able to have food delivered to your seat is phenomenal. Theater is kept clean and the service is great. The newer XL popcorn is great if you ever want more popcorn... tho a medium is enough for me. A smaller theater but doesn't take away from the experience of a great movie. I honestly felt like the food court staff was purposely trying to be the worst. The whole place was empty when I went in, and I had to practically beg the cashiers to help me. I stood there for at least two minutes so they could end their conversation and they still kept talking! So I had to interject and ask if I could order and they literally just stared at me until one of them said, " fine. What do you want?" I ordered. They told me it would take 10-15 minutes to make. I said it was fine and paid . I then went to go get a beer and had to interrupt that conversation and basically went through the same thing. It took the guy about 10 minutes to pour a can of beer into a cup for me because he continued his conversation. I then waited for my food and after about 20 minutes, I asked about it. It turns out, they weren't making it at all. I had already missed the beginning of my movie, so I asked for a refund. That took another 20 minutes. I honestly should have been given a refund for the movie too since I missed 40 minutes of it. I would understand if this place was busy, but I was the only customer. I'll make sure that no one I know will step foot in this movie theater ever again. read more

8/15/2021 This was the worst service that I've had at the snack counter. Bought snacks on line with my tickets and used the pick up at Mobil ordering counter. When I arrived at the theater I went to the mobil order pick up counter and waited 10 min before any employee said anything. Finally a female employee (white couldn't get her name since it was in a lanyard and it kept swaying back and forth/no name tag on her uniform) with long hair said that she'd help me in the regular counter "over here", so I went to where she was standing. She tells me to Get In Line behind that last person in line. So now I have to wait again. Then after about 5 min she tells me to move over to another register so she can help me. I thought the whole purpose of mobil ordering is so you don't have to wait in the regular lines and it's sort of a Priority service since there's a separate section to pick up your food. read more

Then, maybe the worst part of movie theaters...the snack bar. How do these places get away with the prices they charge?
