The popcorn was old and had no taste to it even with butter and salt. People tried stealing my seats that I prepaid and reserved ahead of time (the lady next to me even said this happened to her too). Messy theaters and dirty building. Overall, I just got weird vibes from this theater. read more

After this weekend I am seriously considering never visiting this theater again. A huge argument broke out in my theater between a bunch of teenagers and 2 adults. The sherriff came in and did absolutely nothing but had plenty of time to spend on his phone the rest of the movie. The employees are all young kids and the managers aren't much older. They don't have experience or training to handle disruptive customers. This movie started at 9:15 and the town curfew is 11 I believe. These underage kids were all milling about the theater and parking lot afterwards with no police in sight. I won't be going back until they get this figured out. A few weeks ago I also attended a movie with disruptive teens and the management did nothing even after I complained twice. Sending a 17 year old in to stand at the door does literally nothing. We were going to see a movie here. being that I'm 38 weeks pregnant I had to pee really bad and was told to use the outside facilities since I had not purchased my tickets yet. I have never had this issue at the 7 Bridges Cinemark in Woodridge. The short haired, blonde lady was also very rude and seemed put out by having to tell me this also. I told my husband to not purchase the tickets. We will never go back here again. I went to this theater once before, had a bad experience and this is just another reason to not go here ever again! Nice movie experience, although the D Box seats are rarely occupied and they take up the premium rows. Today we saw Jason Bourne, rated PG -13. Why would anyone take a little girl, probably no more than 5 years old to such an adult, violent movie? This new theater is great. I am so upset that we haven't gone here to see a movie sooner. I still prefer buying snacks elsewhere because of the price, but you can't beat how friendly everyone who works here is. It's a very nice place to unwind at the end of the day. read more

The seating was great & comfortable the restrooms were adequate. The cinema we were in was filthy & uncleaned. They could not have cleaned between shows. The hallways were also very dirty & all the garbage cans were full to overflowing. This was the first time we went there that it was so unkept. I hope Cinemark reads this & starts doing a better cleaning job. read more

Waited 20 minutes for an iced tea and after all of that time they gave my little girl a hot tea. No time to have their error corrected since the movie was starting. Could be a nice theater if the staff and concessions were run properly. read more

Modern theater! Nice comfortable seating. Many modern snack to choose from at the concessions area. Starbucks coffees, Eddys Ice Cream. You can buy candy from bulk containers to mix and match your favorites. Of course it comes with the high movies concessions price. But better picks none the less. The prices on the movies are reasonable. I would check out this theater if you are in the area. read more

The Cinemark is very expensive but I like the theater space. I just wished that they cleaned up the concession stand area better. The floor was super sticky and the garbage at the time was filled to the max and I was seeing an early show too. The really good thing is that the people were polite and nice. So all in all the theater is ok but not somewhere to be excited about except to see a new movie. read more

Where do I start.... Well this was an event for my sons 6th birthday party. And if I could give this place 0 stars I would. When we got there, there was no party plates, napkins, supplies on the table witch they had explained to me they would provided when the party was booked. They told us to get there earlier than 1:40 pm which we did get there at 1:20 pm. It's was 1:50 pm and our hostess Sam had not arrived. I went and got the manager and around 2 pm she arrived. Giving me some excuse that she was busy doing something else. Well first of all that is not my problem because we have the party room for 1 hour I can care less if your busy or not. Send me a back up if you can't do YOUR job!!!! After I told her to give me a min I'm going to look for my husband and tell him the she's here. She when and start serving everybody and though some guest was the party dad??? (Attention to detail) Oh an let me tell you she was gone for the rest of the time. By the time we were getting ready to cut the cake we had no forks plates some kids were served with napkins and ate with their hands. By the way when I asked for forks, she tried to get feisty with me and said well you ask for knives to cut the cake. I'm like excuse me? That goes with out saying we are cutting the cake and after we ARE GOING to eat with FORKS. Finally we complained to the manager. After we paid over $300 ++++ for the party. He offered free pop corn. The damage was done and popcorn was not going to fix this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this for birthday parties, they have teenagers that obviously aren't properly trained. read more

I went here for the first time ever the other day. It was the closest place that had a showing of Jason Bourne that wasn't at 10pm. It was a very nice cinema. The staff was very courteous. I'd come back again. read more

I would give you negative stars if that was possible after the way you treated a man who was an amputee and his wife at the Cinemark in Joliet, IL. You need to completely train all of your staff over and change your policies ASAP. Your staff clearly violated ADA and human decency. You have lost my business and I suggest you try to act fast to somehow attempt to make this horrific experience up to that couple. read more

Wow!!! Well, my family ended up here truly by accident. Our car broke down on the interstate. We had to cancel our hotel reservation 250 miles away and thought this was going to be a horrible adventure. We were wrong. We found a great hotel (Clarion on south Larkin) , an Awesome Car Dealership, (Tyson Motors Jeep and Chevrolet) and were able to spend the afternoon at this great, clean, polite newly renovated cinema. The mall too- clean friendly and SAFE. We had no idea what would happen and had to use Yelp to trust and help us decide what to do. We drive from NY to Iowa once a year and will make this a stop! Used to be our go-to theater. They are converting more and more seats to the more expensive D-Box seats, which we do not like. These are always in the prime seating areas, and are almost always empty. We took our young grandsons to a movie and both the entire first and second row of the balcony were all converted to D-Box seats. No one paid extra to sit in any of these seats. read more

Went there today for the first time. As we reached the concession stand we stood for quite awhile behind one man. For whatever reason he too was waiting for some kind of service or issue. There was one woman behind the counter wearing a headset. There was another man just standing behind the counter eating popcorn. The woman finally takes care of the man and he moves on. She finally turns to us and as I was asking her a question she ignores us and talks over us on her headset to someone else. We ended up just showing our tickets and sitting down. A bit later my husband went for popcorn. This time he had to wait for her to make up some kind of taco tray. Why not give her some help? Especially when you have another employee no matter what his capacity standing around eating popcorn watching her work while the line for service gets longer. I love movie popcorn. This was not fresh and quite honestly expensive for stale cold popcorn. We will not go back. read more

If I could put 0 stars I would. I just read about a situation that occurred last night at your theater where you essentially kicked out an amputee from the show with his wife who FINALLY had a date night after their long medical battle. First, you offered to humiliate him by suggesting that one of your managers and a patron carry him up the stairs..what would you have done if there was a fire or an emergency? This is absolutely horrible. Everything about this is wrong! There were 2 able bodied folks sitting in the handicapped seats. I seriously can't believe that the two "able-bodied" folks didn't offer to give up their seats. Now, just because they have both legs and no wheelchair doesn't mean they could safely walk the stairs; but if these "managers" were ballsy enough to offer to carry this amputee up a set of steps, they certainly should have been ballsy enough to ask that couple if they would mind moving. The manager told the couple to sit in the D box seats, and then sold the D box seats and told the couple they needed to move. They should have made those D box seats unavailable to sell as soon as they told them they could sit there. Poorly handled from start to finish. In PT school, one of my teachers said something so profound that it has stuck with me forever, "There's a big difference between disabled and handicapped. Those of us who are able-bodied make folks with disabilities handicapped." This would be one of those situations. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Your "managing" of this situation was illegal to say the very least. Put yourselves in that couple's place. Shameful! read more

not a very clean theatre.....staff was nice....but.....NO ONE WORE GLOVES WHEN FOOD WAS SERVED...... and a couple of employees were coughing a lot....no popcorn that day. please wear gloves....even if it is just to make the customer feel better!! read more

Today i went the movies to watch the martian in 3d while i was there i decided to get some popcorn the price was ridiculously high but the man behind the counter named Robert suggested a large popcorn and told me that it came with a free refill and there was a combo with a large drink so I decided to do that suggestion and save me some money and as soon as I was ready to pay that same young man sold me the concessions as well it look like he was running the entire lobby and was doing a good job at it too here is my ticket and tell me where to go and handed me my 3d glasses that is very polite way because of him my experience at Cinemark was great and I can't wait to come back read more

I go to this theater very often, mainly because of their discount Tuesday prices and very clean seats. The employees are not the nicest, and I suspect they have miscounted my money at least once or twice. I like that the picture quality is very crisp, but the sound seems to vary drastically depending on the movie. Sometimes it is blaringly loud while other times parts of the dialogue seem turned down low in volume. The theater is large and appears much newer than other locations, though it can be very difficult getting seats within the first week of a movie release. Twice so far I have had to stand in line for an hour in order to make sure the movie tickets were not sold out. This theaters has both good and bad points, but overall I recommend it due to the lower prices and decent quality. Parking spaces can be a big hassle since the theater is located within a large shopping mall, making it nearly always crowded. I avoid going on weekends at all. read more
