The theater is a decent size especially considering it's in the Chicago Ridge Mall, they even had a bar in the theater which is a nice touch, concessions, and even had a lot of mini claw machines. It was really cool that AMC even had merch of their own and even from various movies as well. Movie Experience: The movie was showing in screen/theater 2 and the layout of the theater was nice. The movie in my opinion was really good and they even had a post-credit scene with both Daniel LaRusso & Johnny Lawrence. I do agree with some of the other reviews that the theater walls at least in screen/theater 2 are thin as I was hearing muffled audio from the theater next door. I'm wondering how this can be resolved. Maybe sound proofing each theater to truly get the full movie theater experience? Just my thoughts on this. Claw Machines: The claw machines are $1 per play. The claw machines don't accept bills or card, so you have to go to this machine that gives you tokens. My boyfriend spent $5 in tokens and unfortunately I didn't win anything even though some of the prizes looked gettable. Overall Experience: Overall, I had great experiences at the AMC theater in the Chicago Ridge mall. The theater was clean, easy to navigate, & the bathrooms were clean. Definitely need to go back soon and hopefully I can win me some cute plushies from their mini claw machines. More of an issue with AMC but they advertise on Tuesdays a $5 popcorn and soda combo but they didn't have it and wouldn't honor it! I showed them it on their website and they just said "yeah corporate does that but we don't have a button for it. It's a temporary deal that comes and goes." Then why is it currently on AMC's website like it's always a thing? You would think the theater would just honor it or escalate to corporate if it is bad advertising.

My daughter has some membership there, so she got a free small popcorn. The popcorn turned out to be stale and lackluster. Afterwards, I went to the counter with the small bag still full, and told them about this, asking for some fresh popcorn. I was told by a manager that this was their "ranch popcorn" that they gave out for the coupons and it was prepackaged. They could not substitute the regular fresh popcorn for it which he called "Gourmet Popcorn". So, popcorn being incredibly cheap in the first place, a manager could not see the benefit of having a happy customer over an unhappy one. And, at the end of the night they have to throw it away anyhow.

But can we talk about the seats? These were the most comfortable seats that I have ever sat in while watching a movie. It was so cozy. They have seat warmers and I stayed warm the entire time. The promoter had given us free tix to check out his domain and I heard regular price is $5 which, honestly, I think is too low for what they've done. I've paid $25 for mediocre hauntings and it's a lot of hard work and imagination to get those things up and running. Inside, they have pretty current props, special effects, scenes that are chilling. When I first entered, I actually felt as if I was in a horror film. Only one other haunted house made me feel like this. I think if you feel as if its real, you've done your job. The props were creepy and the sounds snd movements were scary. Spoiler: You have to crawl at one point, so don't wear something impractical lol! There wasn't much "jump" actors, but I can do without. There were imitate "grudge" & "ring" characters that are crawling on the floors which always work. I won't spoil anymore, but I'd highly recommend this place. Thumbs up!
