I found Cinnabar while reading another review and gave it a try for AYCE sushi lunch. Standard variety but everything was fresh and delicious. I was surprisingly full the rest of the day. For AYCE they served three rolls at a time, no biggie. Service was great, checking if we wanted to order anything else. Boba and drinks are not included but they have a standard variety to choose from. Worth checking out if you're in the area.

Great service, food and stunning atmosphere. All you can eat sushi is fantastic. Great quality, delicious and always plated beautifully. My fiance isn't a big raw fish person. He loves the cooked food options as well. Come try it.

Although it's not even a year since we first put Cinnabar on regular rotation, a lot has changed. First, if you're like me and avoid AYCE in general, don't be put off by the huge signs that now cover the entrance to the restaurant. They have a regular menu for those who are not looking to gorge themselves on sushi, fried fish and... "Cajun" seafood (that for some reason is pictured with snow crab? There's no such thing LOL). A lot of people won't trust a vegan's sushi review so I took photos of my husband's and father's sushi/sashimi platters because they are that beautiful. And they said the quality of the sushi is equal to the presentation. I loved my veggie rolls (my favorites are the AAC, avocado/cucumber and peanut avocado). Everything is fresh, the avo perfectly ripe. And they do the rolls right with sesame seeds (it drives me crazy when places skimp on the sesame seeds!) And we got to sit in the birdcages again. The last few times we were in the main dining room, but the birdcages in the bar are so unique (and it's more private/quiet/no TVs). The service is always excellent as well.

This was my second visit and I really enjoyed my meal. their menu is a lot bigger than the last time I was there. We were seated promptly by our waitress Amy who was very helpful and tentative with making sure we were happy with our meals and refilling our beverages.I order the fried catfish as an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious cooked perfectly. Also got the Cajun seafood boil excellent choice everything had a perfect blend of spices with a lot of flavor. I noticed they have a large bar and a spacious dining area and I definitely will be returning.

Cinnabar has quickly become my favorite spot. The summer lunch special price was unmatched so I probably came here 5 times in the last 6 weeks. You're always greeted warmly and seated promptly. The all-you-can-eat lunch special had a limited but well varied menu. The quality of the fish was always consistent and very good, enough that I felt comfortable with my young daughter eating it. My favorites on the menu include the salmon sushi, the Canada roll, the yellowtail scallion roll, and the spicy kani salad. There is something for everyone on the menu. The restaurant is also very beautiful inside. A perfect spot for casual lunch or date night. The drink menu is also extensive. Highly recommend Cinnabar for all your sushi favorites!

Great food and service for all you can eat! Bill was our server and he was very attentive and kind. The food was fresh and delicious. Very nice ambiance with high ceilings and decor. They were nice and gave us booster seats for the kids. I liked the booster seats! I want one for myself! The music was fun. Looks like they keep it clean and you can see the cooks making the sushi.

The sushi was fresh and the cooked kitchen items on the menu were cooked well though the miso soup was a little bland and the wonton soup didn't have any wontons. It's not a bad deal for an ayce spot just make sure to order smart to get your money's worth. The service was very good and the ambiance is def nice to bring a date, family or friends.

Surprisingly great sushi at an all you can eat restaurant. Most rolls were very fresh especially soho and naruto. Rainbow roll somehow was not as good probably from the tuna. Yellowtail sashimi could have been fresher. Scallops and short ribs included but if you really want seafood, there is a cajan seafood boil upgrade. Restaurant was very well decorated and has 3 booths inside a bird's nest. Bathroom area looked very nice from the entrance.

Highly recommend making reservations on the weekend! There were a few people waiting when we walked in but we were able to get seated right away. We opted for the hibachi and sushi ayce and the food was decent. The hibachi shrimp and the fried rice were the best items on the menu. The sweet chili wings were also good I'd give them a 7/10. The severs also move fast which is great since you have limited time at the table.

First visit here , after living in Massapequa for five years. I always feel that the oil you can eat sushi places don't have the quality sushi of a regular sushi place. This was very good. I will say they also have hot food. The Gyoza and the butter noodles were delicious so is the sushi? I would definitely return here again when I'm super hungry and have the urge for sushi. Service was fast and polite roles came out fairly quickly. The hot food did as well.

This is a great spot to get sushi. You can't beat the AYCE lunch special, it's unreal. The staff is kind and accommodating. The sushi is always beautifully presented. The chefs put a lot of care into the food presentation. Fan of this new spot!

We were greeted by our waitress & seated immediately. Our waitress was quite attentive. She was a pleasure to have around, I forget her name but she's a petite woman with long black hair. There were only two other tables occupied at that time and a few ppl at the bar. First impression, a nice cozy restaurant full of bold colorful decor, nice sized bar, maybe 5-6 sections in total. Drinks: the passion fruit margarita was amazing! I love that they used fresh fruit in the drink. My father enjoyed a coconut drink and sister had a spicy margarita. All delicious My nephews did not enjoy the lemonade (not sweet) or sweet tea (also not sweet). Also, there is only one choice for the kids' menu so we ordered chicken fingers and fries for my 5 y/o nephew. FYI per the waitress every dish is cooked to order so be prepared to wait Appetizers: I wanted the cod fish fritters but was informed they were no longer available and will be removed from the menu. We ordered the trio of empanadas which consisted of 1 cheese, 1 chicken, & 1 beef. My hungry teenager devoured the meat ones and I split the cheese one with my nephew. All tasty, no complaints. Dinner: I ordered the passion fruit (wild caught) salmon served over shredded collard greens & yucca mash (small portion but full of flavor sorry forgot to take photo). Every one else ordered a beef meal and were pleased. FYI: gratuity was included on the bill, she deserved every $$. The owners did not come over to greet us but the waitress did an amazing job checking on us non stop and making sure drinks were refilled and plates were removed in a timely manner.

That being said, parking around here is generally not great and make sure you look out for a few scattered no parking signs! Wait staff was friendly and very helpful, although a little bit slow to get us our food it seemed. Getting to the food though, we had the soft pretzel, beef nachos, and mozzarella sticks to start. Nothing that would blow your socks off, but good quality bar snacks for sure. As for dinner I had their signature which is LARGE and IN CHARGE while my girlfriend had the all dya egg sandwich, each with a side of fries. I think everything could have used a bit more salt, and that is coming from someone with a salt sensitive pallete, but also shockingly, I think the oddball of the egg sandwich was actually the star of the show, but maybe that is just the Long Islander in me talking. Although I just stuck to tried and true coors light, the cocktails looked good and didn't skimp on the pours, which is always a plus. The real attraction of this place though is the nautical charm right along the canal. Hell, if you have a boat, you can even dock right on the premise and likely have a better shot of finding a spot there than on the street for your car. The vibe was chill with some live music playing too, but not too loud where you wouldn't be able to just chat with friends comfortably. Definitely a place I'd look to come back to for hanging out, especially if you've got a nice day on your hands.

So when I walked in with my casual attire "all eyes on me" as I stood there to wait for an employee to approach me because I didn't know the procedures, whether I should just grab a seat or not.
