So the motto on the electronic screens inside of Cinnabon is "Life needs frosting". Sometimes this is true and sometimes you just need a cinnabon! Most of the Cinnabons in the shopping malls have been replaced with frozen yogurt places, so I was happy to find a Cinnabon after a late concert at Hard Rock Live. The buns were as decadent as I remembered, oozing with cinnamon filling and frosting. I got a little one (mini) and an iced coffee. Both items were nice and incredibly sweet. I tried to give it c chance three time before reviewing and every time no matter the time of today, the buns are stale. The cinnamon sticks are flaky to the point of breaking. As long as you stick with the cinnabon special, you will be so happy. Their signature cinnabon is always perfect. I have tried their other breakfast items twice now and they are terrible. The breakfast sandwich with egg and bacon uses frozen eggs and then they microwave the sandwich. So if you do not eat it within 2 minutes, it is tough and chewy...and inedible. My lady is absolutely in love with anything cinnamon and after an evening of dinner and drinks, we decided that something sweet (plus a cup of coffee) would be the perfect end to the night. Their Cinnabon's are amazingly good! I like how I was able to choose whichever one I wanted that was on display. Of course I chose the one that they just put out! I'm not sure if the exact name of the drink I got but it was an iced cinnamon something drink. One word: amazing! I also ordered their mini cinnamon doughnuts and those were really good also. You would think that because it's in city walk their prices would have been more but all three of the things I got came out to $14. Not bad. A little warning, their Cinnabon's are pretty big. This place can do so much more to make an excellant cinnabon but at the end it is a fast food dessert place and you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a quick sweet bite and a milk or coffee drink to bring up the heartbeat to keep walking around citywalk you found the right spot. I always stop here at least once on my trips to Universal! We don't have many Cinnabon locations in Pittsburgh so as a sweets fan I always enjoy this. We walked in at around 8 pm during a rush of people leaving and entering the park on a Friday. Crazy enough but there was no one in line. Our Cinnabon wasn't super fresh as it was the end of the day. It was lukewarm, the frosting was lacking and flakey/cracking, and the cinnamon roll itself resembled cardboard more than the ooey gooey goodness you expect from a Cinnabon. Unfortunately, this Cinnabon is the last bastion of hope for those that miss the good old days of a Cinnabon in every mall here in Orlando. The key here, is to get a fresh one. That might require some time to wait, and hitting them up early in the morning, but that is the only way to truly enjoy one of these cinnamon buns. I walked in and was politely greeted by the cashier. They had a 3/4 full pan of original rolls and an empty carmel pecan,so i asked when there will be more and she asked the "cook" which was 3 feet away from me and started being a wise guy in front on me.Giving me looks like im stupid and was mumble things to her, then told the cashier to take a regular one and drizzle caramel and put some pecans on top.This guy was very rude and because of that i am advising you to go in there with low standards even though you are on a what should be a resort wide friendly customer service property. read more
