This flavor alone deserves a standing ovation. My wife went with one of her all-time go-to's, the One Smart Brookie--because if cookie dough is involved, she's already sold. A classic for a reason and just as good as ever. While picking up our order, the team included a sample of the Falling for Chocolate flavor, which was such a smart (and appreciated) touch. It was packed with decadent chocolate goodness and instantly made us want to come back for more. Marketing genius--and it absolutely worked. We were blown away not just by the flavors, but by the top-notch service. Friendly, efficient, and genuinely welcoming--especially impressive for a quick pickup order. Elite pro tip: Just order the Gotta Have It size. You'll have leftovers and won't feel compelled to eat it all in one sitting... though temptation will be strong. They have cases with grab and go items including ice cream cakes, ice cream sandwiches, ice cream cupcakes, and pre-packed quarts of ice cream. I appreciate this option so I can grab delicious desserts without having to order days in advance. We got 2 variety packs which included the Sweet Cream Cupcakes, Cake Batter Delux Cupcakes, and Chocolate Devotion Cupcakes. They were a hit at the celebration, everyone enjoyed them. If you're really in a pinch, you can order the variety packs on delivery platforms so you don't even have to make a special trip to pick them up. This seems like it's probably not one of the better locations for this chain, based upon the raves I've heard about others. When you enter it seems cramped, and there's no obvious way to get the cups for the frozen yogurt machines, many of which are not operational. "Stone" appears in the name because the ice cream is frozen to order on a cold marble counter, while being mixed with any desired add-ins. I had a mint and chocolate combination that was just okay. It would have been better without the lumpy brownies that were included as one of the chocolate ingredients. On a reutrn visit I had a coffee lovers combo which I liked much better. read more

Jon, the assistant manager is the bomb.com! Drove around wanting fro-yo and settled for ice cream. To our surprise, the wall when you come in has fro-yo! Then a small topping bar but if you want more than what is offered they will give you anything else behind the bar. We sampled other flavors of ice cream from the girl serving as well. We ended up with two yogurts and two ice creams. She started helping us, but maybe seemed new so he jumped in and started giving her suggestions when he saw her fumbling. I asked a ton of questions! Ended up with a yummo creation since I wanted an almond joy type creation and what they came up with was good! Then he started helping my husband at the fro-yo counter and we started talking military. They give a discount FYI! Such a nice guy to leave in charge! I hate to say it, but I honestly kinda hate coming here. Personally, I don't want to pay over $5 for their smallest size of ice cream. Their flavors are delicious, yes, but it's just ice cream. Why so expensive? Am I just cheap? It's just not worth it to me. Anyway, my second issue - this is literally the ONLY place in the area with froyo. Most likely, their froyo standards are so low because they don't have any competition. It is cheap, price wise, so I'll give it that, but I'm not a huge fan of their (very plain) flavors & when we went today, there weren't any cups where they should be, so we had to wait a while to get one from the ONE associate. Yes, ONE. One who looked overwhelmed and overworked and as if he'd rather be anywhere but there. No offense to him, though. I totally get it. Here's an idea! How much easier and efficient would it be if there were TWO associates working, instead of just one!? We all know they don't get paid much per hour, anyway & for what you charge for ice cream, it shouldn't be an issue. Cut your budget elsewhere, maybe. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. My Mom and I ordered a cake a month in advance of my May 1 Baby Shower. One week before hand she stopped by the store to ensure everything was okay. She was told everything was great. She went to pick up the cake the day before and realized something was off. She did not have a photo of what we ordered. The manager Mike who ironically was the one who made the cake commented that if I didn't like it, she could bring it back and they would fix it. I luckily have a photo that I had taken of what we ordered. We picked the design out of their book. The one in their store. It was NOTHING like what we had ordered. She brought it back with the photo I had and showed Mike that it was nothing like what we had ordered. He said he would go ahead and try to fix it. He commented they were out of the figurine that was on the design and that they were unable to locate another store with it. None of this was mentioned on Tuesday when my Mom went to check in. My Mom arrived back home and received a call from Mike. Mike mentioned how the cake seemed melted. Which of course it was as she drove it home to Clermont and back because they messed up. He also mentioned that a cake that size (we ordered the largest sheet cake) takes time to make. We understood this which is why we ordered it a month in advance. To top it off he said well "Publix makes cakes". I didn't want a cake from Publix. I wanted an ice cream cake. He said he would see what he could do. My Mom picked up a slightly better cake the next day (day of the baby shower). Honestly the first cake was so horrific there was plenty of room for improvement. The time comes to cut the cake at the Baby Shower. I cut into it and it's the wrong flavor! We wanted the chocolate chipper and there were no chocolate pieces in the cake. The cake was also not placed on cardboard inside the box. It was literally sitting on the box. Another disappointment. I tried to call the store and no one would ever pick up. I did have someone call me from customer service, who apparently works at the I-drive location. I explained the above story to which she felt terrible. She said she would reach out to the store and ask them to refund us. Two weeks later and I still had not heard back from her. I called and she said she was waiting for them to follow up, but they would not refund the cake. According to the owner we took the cake and ate it. I'm sorry, how were we supposed to know that it was the wrong flavor until we cut into it. Were we supposed to tell our 40 Guests sorry you can't eat this we need to take it back, in the middle of my Shower? She apologized and gave me the owners phone number. I have called him many times and it always rings and says the voicemail is not set up. I am incredibly disappointed that no one is willing to assist with this. No one is willing to look at the photos to see how terrible the cake really was. With everything we have been through it would be nice to be able to talk to someone who understands. I am incredibly disappointed as Cold Stone has always been my go to for my Birthday Cakes. This experience has changed my views completely. read more

I went to cold stone with my husband and we both got a ice cream Sunday 1/18/15. The total was $11.69. Well, I hand the guy my debit card (TOTAL MISTAKE ) I WAS charged $115.69 then he tried to refund me and refunded me $1,115.69. Then charged me again for $1,104.00. I got out to the truck pull up my back account and YES $1,219.69 is taken out of my back account. ($1,219.69 FOR TWO ICE CREAMS) I call my bank and they tell me they don't see where they have refunded me and they could take up to 5 days at some places. Not a good experience at all. We had 1 of each size. My wife got a Like It in Coconut with pineapple. They didn't have enough pineapple, so he went to look for more. In the time it took him to come back with pineapple, her ice cream was a soupy mess on the cold stone. She didn't finish it. My son got the Chocolate Devotion. It was good, he said. I got the Gotta Have It with coconut and pineapple. Mine wasn't soupy like my wife's, but the ice cream tasted a bit old. It had a weird taste to it. Also, the man preparing mine decided to throw it in the air and catch it in the cup. While this looked cool, he ended up losing about 1/4 of mine on the ground. Did he top it off with more ice cream? Nope. For over $17, I won't be back. It is definitely not worth that for this level of service. Oh, and get your line in order. We decided to order a 'Gotta Have it' of their Founder's Favorite and received a free waffle cup with the 'check in'. This is my second visit to this location in the past year. The first time we left without buying anything. Tonight was no different. We ate dinner next door and thought we'd give them a second chance. We walked in, saw the unclean conditions, smelled the dirty odor (never a good sign in food service) and walked right back out the door. Never again. This place is dirty and unkempt. Two of the yogurt machines were broken and the floors and tables need a good scrubbing. The ice cream in the display case was overflowing in the silver trays and the glass and the bottom of the display case had crusty dried ice cream in the crevices. So gross! If I can see this on the sales floor, I have to wonder what the kitchen area looks like. All of these faults can be fixed with a little bleach and some elbow power. I'm not sure what happened to this location. It used to be very nice but once the yogurt machines were installed everything went downhill. We decided to hit up Red Mango instead. It's healthier, always clean and the staff is friendly. read more

Love going here for ice cream. Store is always clean and the staff are polite and friendly. We shared a large strawberry blonde cup. It is big enough for two. The indoor seating isn't available due to Covid but it is nice to sit outside and enjoy the warm evening air. Also if you sign up with them you get points towards freebies. Cold stone gets two stars because the guy behind the counter had a piss poor attitude every time (been here more than once now ) and didn't welcome us when we walked into the store. Instead of asking how we were doing and what we wanted he just stood back there staring at us with a frown on his face until we asked him a question. Then once we told him what we wanted he never confirmed or anything and just went to work making the ice cream. When you check in on Groupon you get a coupon for a free waffle cone or waffle bowl which I thought was a great deal since that saves you like six dollars but the catch is that you don't actually get the whole thing for free but rather just the waffle part watch is like a one dollar savings. I have been here many times but went to try the new yogurt bar. The yogurt is more like soft serve ice cream but was very good. There is a decent amount of flavors but the real star was the toppings. They had every topping you could think of. I mixed peanut butter cup and snicker "yogurt" and put snickers and Reese's on it. It was excellent.
