I stopped by Cinnabon Swirl and tried the Oreo Blue Blast Ice Cream Sandwich. It looked awesome, but overall the experience was kind of mixed. The cookies were a little too hard, but they still had good flavor. The Blue Blast ice cream wasn't what I expected; it actually tasted a lot like Fruit Loops. Not bad, just not really what I was going for. I also had a few bites of the Cinnabon Sundae, and that was on a whole different level. Super sweet and ridiculously good. I honestly think if I had the whole thing, I'd end up in a full-on food coma. The staff was friendly and quick, and even though the ice cream sandwich wasn't totally my thing, I'd definitely go back just for that sundae.

Very nice touch on interior walls, tells the whole story

Very interesting concept between Cinnabon and Carvel Ice Cream. Nicely done on Cinnabon Swirl with Vanilla Ice Cream and Carmel Sauce. Waffle Cone with Vanilla Ice Cream was excellent as well. The location is very clean, well organized and merchandised to perfection. Customer Service was excellent and very accommodating and appreciated. Loved their Marketing Concept-See Attached Photos. We will return, I want to try their ice cream sandwiches. It's to the right of Haymaker Restaurant in their new location. Plenty of parking

Staff was beyond words kind and kept the store clean. Everything was clean and up kept in the restaurant. For the sundae I did strawberry ice cream and chocolate drizzle. I figured I'd try something out of my norm. It wasn't bad. The Cinnabon roll was a 1000 times better than those I've had in truck stops. It reminded me of the old Cinnabon you'd get in the malls growing up. So it was nice to get a slice of childhood. The ice cream sandwich was solid the ice cream didn't start to even melt until the last four or so bites and it was savoring.

If you've ever thought to yourself, "I wish I could marry a cinnamon roll and have ice cream as the maid of honor," congratulations, Cinnabon Swirl just made your weird little dream come true. We popped in on a warm afternoon, driven by a craving for something sweet and a little sinful, and Cinnabon Swirl did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the scent alone could have convinced me to sign a lease. The shop was spotless (like, eat-a-scoop-off-the-floor clean), and the service was super friendly and fast. No one was stingy with the smiles or the soft serve. I ordered the Cinnabon Sundae and I'm honestly still thinking about it. Warm, gooey cinnamon roll on the bottom, vanilla soft serve piled high, drizzled with cinnamon syrup, it was like if a dessert hugged me and told me everything was going to be okay. My daughters went full joy-mode: one got a black and white Oreo shake that looked like it was made by dessert angels, and the other had a simple soft serve cone, classic and perfect. Both were grinning the entire time like they'd just found out summer vacation was extended. The shop has both indoor and outdoor seating, so whether you're into A/C or sunshine, they've got you covered. Plus, the location is super convenient, great for a quick sugar fix or a post-dinner treat. In short: clean shop, kind staff, ridiculously delicious ice cream, and cinnamon rolls that taste like they were baked with love and a touch of wizardry. We'll absolutely be back, probably too often. My diet is already side-eyeing me.

To Cinnabon or to min Cinnabon? For me, I love the ratio of dough to cinnamon sugar in the Cinnabon! The mini also tends to be harder than the original. Cinnabon is big enough to be split by two but with me? I am not sharing.

Yummy gooey warm delicious Cinnabon roles. Can't go wrong with that. Then they go ahead and add creamy ice cream team on top with whatever toppings of your choosing. I was in heaven and the server was so sweet and nice. You definitely should check it out. Note: I was invited as a Yelp Elite to try it out. Glad I was

It was good, but a little underwhelming. The staff were very friendly and patient. The atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. One issue inside is there is not a lot of seating and not a lot of options for a larger group. The Traditional Cinnabon was a little dry and did not have nearly enough frosting, in my opinion. The blue moon soft serve (trix cereal flavor) was a miss for everyone, just had an artificial flavor to it. The strawberry soft serve, to us, tasted like laffy taffy, and none of us really cared for it either. The Cinnabon Swirl Sundae had a delicious vanilla soft serve on top. The vanilla soft serve actually tasted like vanilla which was nice. The Cinnabon center prices were a little tough which was disappointing. Overall, it was just okay. It is a nice little spot for some vanilla soft serve for sure.

Just your average mall experience in a new standalone location. Flavors are consistent with the brand, service was alright, and the dining area was messy.

Cinnabon Swirl is a combination of Cinnabon and Carvel ice cream. Unfortunately, this mix up isn't so tasty. I tried out a sundae which has Cinnabon bread chunks at the bottom topped with one of their 4 flavors of ice cream. I got the chocolate flavor and I must say that the bread itself was stale and the ice cream didn't mix well in the Cinnabon. Both my crony and I felt like this would've been better if we ate these separately. They have take home pints at good prices which cost $7.71. Unfortunate that you can't get a mix of two flavors and there's only one of 4 flavors to choose from. I got the triple chocolate and it wasn't good; the chocolate chips inside were lacking any real chocolate flavor and detracted from the taste.

OOEEY-GOOEY Greatness!!!! The warmth of the Cinnabon mixed with the creaminess of the soft serve ice cream was perfection! The team was awesome too, full of energy and welcoming. I went with the Blue Moon since Dre said it was his favorite. Thank you for the recommendation Dre, it was very delicious!

Such a great experience! We came to Cinnabon in Peoria for a unique dessert experience. The Cinnabon paired with ice cream is SO good! We shared a blue moon sundae and were surprised that blue moon was orange flavored. The orange, however, paired with the cinnamon very well and it was absolutely delicious! Overall this was a great end to our date night and we really enjoyed the cinnamon roll dessert selection! The service was great and the 2 ladies working were super sweet and helpful!

Double yum!! Super excited to true the new carvel swirl Cinnabon place that newly opened. It puts a twist on delicious dessert. The place smells amazing when you walk in and the service is fast and professional. Highly recommend

I love cinnamon rolls and these are very good! There are different roll size options and there is ice cream available as well as other treats. It's a bit pricey for me at about $6 for the classic roll so it would be a special occasional treat.

I finally got the one that is daily up for grans, and I was so excited! My sister and I can't figure out why there's only one bag per day, but it's very coveted so we were excited to see what was actually inside! We walked in to the bakery with the intention of ordering more treats, in addition to what was in the too good to go surprise. When we walked in, it was 10:05, and they closed at 10:30. They had already put away half of their gelato and baked goods in the cabinet. I understand closing time is at 10:30, but if you still have almost half an hour left, I'm sure there are customers that are gonna come in and buy things. There were three parties of people that walked in while we were in there and then sitting out on the really nice patio. There is a little bit of seating inside, but the patio was very nice and there was plenty of seating out there too. The vibe is super cute, and I love the decor. Hopefully next time we go back, we can actually try things because they won't be put away!

It happened to be a little under twenty minutes away from us so we decided let's do it & they were open late. Hell yeah. There's not a crazy amount of pastries but the selection was great. We got two tiramisus, one vanilla custard lobster tail, some mini cannolis, & the wedding cookies. Everything came out to about $50 so beware, prices aren't exactly cheap. But for one, if you're going to do "bad" then do it right & we also shared with our family of 5 so plenty to go around. & Holy cow, everything was incredible. So indulgent, decadent & rich in flavor. My nephews liked the cannolis, personally they're not my favorite, but if you're into it the mini's are a great option to quench the craving. The lobster tail with the vanilla custard took me by surprise. I didn't think I was going to care for it, but the cold custard was refreshing & the flakiness of the bread was crazy, my taster buds were confused by the textures, but in the best way. They complemented each other well. My ultimate favorite was the tiramisu & the wedding cookies. I honestly wish I had gotten more of the wedding cookies, those things took me back. I grew up eating the Mexican ones & the Italians did it right *applause* But damn, the tiramisu was to die for. I would order that again & again. Perfectly chilled, the dusting of the cocoa powder didn't taste like nesquik--incredible. At first the price had me thinking if we were doing too much, like damn, should we have just gone to Sprouts bakery? But after being able to indulge in a great quality dessert, it was worth every dollar. My only feedback, careful when you're paying at the register. If you're not paying attention, the tip automatically defaults to 18% on the tablet. Only thing I didn't care for. I could see if I was eating at the restaurant, but I just popped in to take pastries to go. So, that was kind of annoying. The service was fine, the girl that helped me was nice, but again I just pointed at desserts I wanted & went home. The location is part of the main restaurant, but it has its own entrance & little room making it feel separate to the Sicilian Butcher. They also carry gelato which I haven't tried yet. I believe they have little tables to sit at also. Highly recommend checking this out so save room for dessert!

A West Valley Gem Packed with Flavor, Charm, and Plenty to Discover…read more If you've ever driven past that bright pink building on the corner of 101st and Grand Avenue in Sun City and wondered, "What's in there?" let me save you the suspense: it's the New York West Bakery, and it's absolutely worth pulling over for. In fact, I've made the hour-plus drive each way more than a dozen times just to visit. Whenever I find myself anywhere in the West Valley, this place is a mandatory stop. I've taken countless photos of my visits because there is always something new to see, taste, or admire. Under its new ownership, New York West Bakery has evolved into a wonderfully unique fusion-style café. The menu is delightfully unexpected, featuring everything from traditional breakfast favorites and homemade tamales to incredible Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches. If I can dig up some of my photos, I'll add them because these sandwiches deserve their own spotlight. The transformation isn't limited to the menu. The Interior: Spotlessly clean. During one recent visit, I watched an energetic staff member carefully mopping the floors and making sure everything looked perfect. It's obvious they take pride in the place. The Exterior: They've added a charming outdoor patio complete with colorful umbrellas, comfortable seating, and newly planted trees that will provide even more shade as they grow. It's a fantastic addition and makes for a relaxing place to enjoy a pastry and coffee. The Food: Where This Place Really Shines When New York West Bakery gets it right, they absolutely knock it out of the park. Their fruit tarts are hands-down some of the best I've had in years. They're fresh, beautiful, bursting with flavor, and surprisingly affordable for the quality you're getting. Best of all, everything is made from scratch, which shows in every bite. The newer savory menu items are also a huge win. Their Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches deliver serious value. They're enormous. Honestly, one sandwich is big enough to share and still leave you feeling satisfied... or at least leave just enough room for dessert. And speaking of dessert, I have to mention those fruit tarts one more time. They're that good. My wife Lucy absolutely loves them. In fact, "love" might be an understatement. If fruit tarts had a fan club, she'd probably be the president. New York West Bakery continues to grow and evolve, and it's exciting to watch. Between the friendly atmosphere, expanding menu, beautiful patio, and from scratch-made baked goods, it's become one of my favorite hidden gems in the Valley.

Update: June 2026 The new owners have expanded into more of…read morea café than a bakery, and a fusion one at that since you can get Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches, tamales, and traditional breakfasts. I love that they added outdoor seating with cheery umbrellas and have planted trees to provide additional ambiance and shade, although the highway noise will always be problematic. The inside is spotless and while I was there a friendly staffer was keeping it that way by energetically mopping. Sadly, the St. Joseph's pastry I had had a tough not flaky or crisp shell, but the ricotta filling was light and good. I was so looking forward to the poppy seed bread but when I got it home and cut into it, the filling was not spread out throughout the bread and there wasn't much of it. The bread itself was not tear apart tender, but dry. I saved it by slathering butter on it and lightly toasting it, but that shouldn't have been necessary. For the prices, everything should have been top notch or marked down and labeled as day-olds. I'm curious about the breakfast and lunch café options, so I'll probably go back to give them a try, but note that the prices have increased by more than a few cents per item since the 2025 someone else posted, so check for the latest. Maybe they are trying to do too much and should limit the variety and be known for a few super delicious items that are always fresh and superior to what you could get in a supermarket. Having a few signature items and being the go-to place during special holidays would help define them, and please, please FRESHNESS is crucial--maybe the products are just drying out more because we're in AZ, but I'm not the only one mentioning dried out items.
