    Lemon raspberry pancakes

We stopped in today and we weren't disappointed. I had the raspberry lemon pancakes and they were the perfect combination of sweet and tart. They have a wide variety of lattes and we had the iced vanilla cinnamon. The service was friendly and helpful. It was a cute spot with swings for seats at one table and other tables made of old sewing desks. Their patio is dog friendly so that's always a plus.

I really enjoy this cafe. This time I ordered carne adovada and eggs, which were delicious. I had a Mexican mocha, which was also delicious. My friend had huevos rancheros which she very much enjoyed. The service has always been good and consistent. They have a beautiful patio for those is us who like the fresh air. Some shade and some sun. I highly recommend Cinnamon Sugar and Spice Cafe for a great breakfast with tarty drinks.

Have been to this place many times and have always been an extremely pleased. Today I was getting a to go order to enjoy at the park only 3 minutes away. I ordered the mandarin salad and the pecan blue cheese salad with balsamic dressing. The mandarin salad was very good and the pecan blue cheese salad would've been much better, except the balsamic dressing was very sour like they forgot one of the ingredients. I ordered a peach tea, which was weak and mediocre at best.. I had also ordered a green chili stew and the beef barley soup.. considering the part was only three minutes away. I found it. The soup was not hot number one and they forgot the crackers that were supposed to go with it. Like I said every other time I've ever been to this place. It's been very good. I don't know if it was because it was 230 or so in the afternoon and they close at 3pm, but it was a little disappointing for spending $40+ for lunch. I will say the staff was very nice but will try again and hope for a better result.

Arrived 5-10m after opening on a Saturday morning, and the line was long - but it moved quickly. Staff member was new but friendly and got our orders correct. All seating is hard, but our two-top was a reconstituted sewing machine table, so I had fun playing with the pedal. He got black coffee and French toast with sausage. The coffee was unpalatable, and the syrup was the fake stuff. Sausage was the star, and we agreed the French toast tasted a lot like cake. Thick slices of brioche were soaked and cooked well. I got an iced Sunrise (cinnamon + vanilla) latte and a breakfast burrito. The server went light on the syrups, just as I requested, and I really enjoyed my drink! Bacon inside the BB was crispy, and their red chili was a great addition. Wish it had been bigger and the cheese was inside the tortilla, not on top. Otherwise, no complaints. If they can step up their plain coffee game, that would be an easy improvement to make a big difference. Lots of attention paid to lattes...just a little more love on your basic Joe, please and thanks.

Coffee is amazing and they have the best Belgian Waffles! The place is also super cute.

I had not been here in a while! I noticed a new side room added with more tables and chairs and noticed that they serve dinner! I'll have to try! I met a friend for breakfast, and I had the pile-up. It was 2 eggs cooked my choice over hash browns, bacon, sausage, cheese (I think), lettuce, tomato, and green chili (red and Christmas were options). I totally enjoyed this dish--a popular one so said the counter clerk. The eggs sunny side up were cooked perfectly, and it was a nice mix of all the ingredients. I wouldn't say the bacon and sausage were too much, but it seemed scattered enough in the dish. I wanted to stay a way from carbs, and this does the trick. I left feeling just right and not too full. The menu has many great options of teas, food, and desserts. You order at the counter and take a seat. Someone will bring the food. Clean, friendly staff, and I didn't have to raise my voice to carry on a conversation despite a fairly full dining room. Recommend!

This place is beloved, and I just...don't understand? It's got a fun eclectic atmosphere and a menu with a large variety, but...do you have to order each thing to find out what it is? The 'title' of each dish is written on a chalk board behind the counter, but am I supposed to sand there and ask the cashier for details on every dish I might be interested in? Or do I just order the "Paseo-Pile Up" and get surprised by what I receive? Especially when they're busy, this seems like a poor way to provide a menu. It was overwhelming. And the food was...fine? It wasn't bad, but it doesn't rank against some of the other New Mexican food we have in our city. I'd much rather drive 5 more minutes for a breakfast that tastes authentic instead of like someone from Texas tried to replicate New Mexican cuisine and forgot to add spices (like Texas does). Oh man, maybe I just found the answer to why it's beloved. Is everyone who goes here religiously from a bible belt state? I'll see myself out.

Three of us dined and everyone loved everything. I ordered the Lox-Avo Toast and it was very good. Service was friendly and food was ready in good time. Also, I LOVED that a tip percentage didn't pop up when I paid.

Talk about cute! We visited on a recommendation from local friends during our stay in Albuquerque and were not disappointed. They have a dog friendly patio with awnings that provide as much shade as possible. My son had Johnny's chocolate chip pancakes with sausage and they were outstanding- so fluffy!! I had the heuvos rancheros with Christmas chilis (red and green for anyone like me who can't make the choice)- they were fantastic and I was full all day. My husband had the breakfast burrito and said it was delicious. It was also huge! They had some yummy sweet treats inside but I was way too full to consider eating anything else.

Came here for a late breakfast on a Saturday. First thing you notice is the long line of people waiting to order. This place must be good!!! The line went by quickly, this place has you order them get a number, you sit where you want. I ordered The Hercules, it's a Greek/NewMexican fusion dish. New Mexican style potato's, eggs, and red and green Chile. To that they add gyro meat, tzatziki and a side of pita. Kind of weird combination, my fiancé loved it.... My only complaint was that the red Chile was 5/10! The green was a solid 8/10. But the sweets!! Oh my!! This place knows how to do their French toast, and cinnamon roll game!! The French toast melts in your mouth and feels so light, the cinnamon roll is overflowing with pecans and caramel! 10/10 on the sweets! The ambiance is cozy coffee shop vibe. Pretty flowers on the tables in front. This place is a great breakfast or lunch spot because of the variety of options! Staff was super friendly even though it was packed to the brim!

Lavender latte and butter pecan cinnamon buns

The food was delicious, there are tons of options to choose from. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The line looks long but goes by quickly. Will definitely be going again.

......... I enjoy breakfast here 3-4 times per week I try to be a loyal customer and tip the staff generously But I need to remember the pecan rolls, offered on Tuesday aren't fresh ... since the restaurant is closed Sunday and Monday ... the rolls originate on Saturday. Not enjoyable the last two Tuesday visits The staff is AMAZING here - really great people doing their best to cover the "way over 50+ crowd" of guests effectively. Quick Note: Some of the really poor reviews of this restaurant are actually a review of the Nob Hill area location - which has recently closed. Not an easy spot for a restaurant for many reasons. What I can say out about this location on Juan Tabo ... 1. Good quality food 2. Nice atmosphere 3. Exceptional Staff 4. Steady, Consistent, Reliable experience Fair pricing and for us in High Desert - a really good location

Cinnamon Sugar & Spice Cafe. Chorizo Omelet with a side of fruit.

July 2, 2022. Saturday. Took my mother to lunch at this cafe, which serves breakfast and lunch. This cafe is open Tuesday through Saturday from 7 am to 3 pm. It's closed on Sundays and Mondays. My mom was a veteran of this cafe, having visited three or more times. I was the newbie. When we arrived at noon, the waiting line stretched out the door. She highly recommended the breakfasts. So, I ordered a chorizo omelet ($11) and with a side of fruit and a maple bacon cinnamon roll ($3.75) to go. The fruit side contained a bunch of fruit. Strawberries, blueberries, grapes, cantalope, honey dew melon, and an orange slice. My chorizo omelet had both red and green chile on top, affectionately termed, "Christmas" in New Mexico. Unfortunately, these chiles were more "Tex Mex" than New Mexican. My side tortilla had turned stale and appeared to be from a pre-made bag. The chorizo tasted a bit bland and the Tex Mex chile had no heat or bite to it. The fruit seemed fresh and juicy. The bacon maple cinnamon roll tasted delicious when I shared it later with my wife. That combination of flavors is fantastic. I'm betting if you order a non-New Mexican breakfast, such as toast, pancakes or waffles, you'll have better luck than me. It was just an average omelet, but that cinnamon roll really wowed us.
