Great staff. Great looking space, but a quiet place to work... it is not. Went there yesterday to work on a project for a couple of hours. The music was so loud that it wouldn't matter if I used noise canceling headphones. Forget about a conference call. It's just not happening. Also, the acoustics of the room are such that every voice echoes, creating so much sound that I just had to get the hell out of there. It wasn't just me, either. The lady next to me moved outside. Again, the staff were over the top amazing. Hope they can make some adjustments because it's ideally located for me. read more

This is a fancy little coffee shop. They make their own syrups and know their drinks well. We all made custom orders and the girls were very helpful and they nailed all the drinks. My iced London fog was awesome, I've never even thought to order that until I saw it was a popular drink there. They even made it unsweetened for me which was pretty awesome. So I guess it was an iced tea with oat milk haha. Either way it was delicious. read more

Solid spot for q cup of Joe! Has a "chain feel" to it and not the local comfy spot to hang out but they made a great iced americano! Nice and smooth like I wanted and it was refreshing on this warm 86 degree day! Staff was friendly and efficient. My reason for not giving 5 stars was that I was not impressed with the pastry selection and seating was not that comfortable or cozy to hang out in. read more

Heatwave Coffee is properly named, has everything you need for your coffee fix, and feels like a small town coffee shop you should support out in the desert. I loved the seating, the plants, and of course the coffee options. They have specials and the usual. I got their Vanilla Bean Iced Latte and the Iced Mocha. Super cute coffee shop with a chill vibe. I had the strawberry match which looked super cool and tasted great! The matcha wasn't sweetened which I liked, the strawberry jam in it was great but I wish there was a bit more. I ended up getting oat milk instead of whole (for my tummy) . The girl who took my order was super nice! My only complaint was with the drink was $8.88 out the door with a dollar tip which is hard to justify especially with the drink having a shit ton of ice in it. The location offers decent seating inside with a couple tables outside if you want to sit in and enjoy your coffee or work from here. Highly recommend trying their Vanilla Bourbon Latte both iced and hot. A great place to meet up, take your laptop to get some work done - there's plenty of seating and even some outdoor tables. OH MY GOSH!! This is truly the best coffee shop I've been to in ABQ. My favorite drink so far is the coconut creamy matcha, which is one of the seasonal items they're serving up for the summer.
