I love stopping in here to grab a coffee when I can! I use to hang out and read, the inside use to look alot different with high tops and couch options but they've changed the layout in recent months! I love coming in early before people have managed to take all the snacks! The people who work here are always friendly and nice. There's a girl there who always remembers what I get. Super cute! Stop by if you get a chance.

Le Chantilly is by far the best bakery in all of Albuquerque! I had ordered my birthday cake from here, but because it was initially close to Thanksgiving they weren't able to do the design I wanted (which to be fair was somewhat complicated). But then they gave me a great birthday surprise by doing the design! And best of all it was also a delicious cake. They went above and beyond, and their extra effort has turned me into a loyal customer. You can't get service like this at a big chain! Thank you Le Chantilly bakery, I'm eternally grateful!

These folks came through with flying colors making fruit tarts for a friend who's allergic to everything, it seems. Ordering process was smooth, easy, & professionally handled. They were ready when promised and got rave reviews from the recipient. A job very well done! While scouting bakeries for the tarts, I grabbed a chocolate croissant & a cup of coffee to enjoy in the delightfully lovely interior of this bakery/bistro. The coffee had excellent flavor & sufficient caffeine to carry me through my morning. However, in spite of having nice flavor, one demerit for the croissant being a tad dry and semi-tough. It took a fair bit of sawing with the dinner knife to get through the bottom layer of the pastry. A disappointment given that croissants are the touchmark of a French bakery. As noted, the staff here is friendly and engaging. I've gotten nothing but great customer service from the staff. To me, the wall mural is pretty enough to justify a trip here all by itself. It's just a lovely spot for a sit-down & chat over coffee & treats.

I love Le Chantilly. Their tride and trued when it comes to fine baked goodies. I love the pumpkin muffins and various other Halloween items. Cute window display and bar plus tables and chairs and benches oh my. There's something to satisfy your sweet or savory baked good tooth. Can't wait to see what the future holds for this bakery/Café founded in 1974. Wow. That's older than me. He he.

To start, as we came in, we were offered a biscochito to try while we decided on what to order. Honestly, the decision was hard... so many delicious looking things on the menu but finally decided on a salami and provolone sandwich, with green chile bread. Wow! Amazing sandwich, fresh, delicious! While we were enjoying our food, Pratt Morales, the owner and master baker, came out and talked to us for a while. This was a real treat, great positive attitude and love for what he does. He even introduced us to one of his specialties the Turkey shaped bread he makes for Thanksgiving. So popular now he gets hundreds of orders per year. We left with some biscochitos and other cookies to go, and a desire to try more things when we are back in Albuquerque.

He even joked that they were "out of everything," which got a laugh and set a fun, relaxed tone. The music was rocking when I walked in, which I loved, although it eventually switched to something a little more mellow. Still, the overall atmosphere was inviting and made me want to stick around. I ordered an Iced Americano, and it was solid. You can tell they use quality espresso, but I personally would have liked it just a bit stronger. Next time, I'll probably ask for an extra shot to make it perfect for my taste. The real standout was the cinnamon roll. It had the ideal texture with a gooey, cinnamon-filled center, and they certainly didn't skimp on the cream cheese frosting. There was enough frosting to induce a sugar overdose, in a good way. The shop itself was clean, comfortable, and designed to make you want to stay awhile. They have a huge selection of board games and LEGO sets, so you could easily spend a couple of hours hanging out with friends or family. I also asked about the stage and learned they host karaoke and open mic nights a couple of evenings each week, which adds another fun reason to come back. Between the genuinely friendly staff, quality coffee, incredible cinnamon roll, and welcoming atmosphere, this is a place I'll definitely be visiting again.

Friendly service and faces always warm up a cold morning, and we definitely got that at Los Ranchos Bakery. The menu is simple and the baked goods look great! We ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon and green chile cheddar bagel, a lavender latte, and a red chile mocha. A cherry tart and a cinnamon roll to go. The drinks were, unfortunately, missing a few ounces and flavor. The sandwiches were smaller than I expected. The bagel had a hint of heat and chile. It was perfectly toasted and held the egg and bacon quite well. The bacon was crispy and the egg was well done. It was filling in the end. The baked goods will have to wait until tonight but I've had their scones before and they were excellent! I'm betting on excellence on the tart and cinnamon roll. Overall, this is a nice local coffee shop that can be a great alternative to a chain coffee shop. The space is nice for some work or chatting with friends and family. Don't bet on the coffee, but definitely go for the baked goods!
