Cute bakery that also offers specialty goods imported from Italy. Everyone here is friendly and ready to serve. I came on the eve of Christmas Eve and the staff was quite efficient in management of high traffic during this holiday season. ***They are closed 12/26-1/6. While inconvenient for some, I very much appreciate an establishment that closes to allow staff to spend time with their families during this time of year. Big kudos from me.

I love their catered little sandwich boxes! It comes with a good amount too - a sandwich/wrap, a dip, pasta salad, chips, and a cookie. The sandwiches are always pretty filling too. I want to try their bakery side too though!

Donuts are so good some of the best in town! 2 thumbs up for the Philly cheesesteak. Hubby was not a fan of breakfast burrito he said it was okay but didn't like the tortilla. He'll order something different next time. Small line when arrived weekday breakfast time. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Also they have little market section kitchen items, wine selections, and gifts available for purchase.

Their cookies are so good. I like their donuts too. I've always had professional service. Some of my friends don't support them which is their choice. If you want decorated themed cookies, come here. They are a little pricey at like $5.50 each.

Had a catered sandwich, and it was good - definitely better than I expected, considering it had been in a box for a couple of hours.

Well, my family and I decided to go to a local favorite and was not disappointed. We are visiting from out of town and were pleasantly surprised by the fast and friendly service. There are lots of options cakes, cupcakes, donuts and even breakfast sandwiches. It's a fast paced environment but definitely something to enjoy. There are busy but it's worth the small wait. Whenever, we are back in town we will be back.

Finally made my way to the store front after 3 years of hearing about cinotti's and trying the pumpkin donut at my workplace! I agree with some of the others, the donuts are nothing special! Very similar to that of a grocery store donuts! I wouldn't go back or go out of my way to eat them, but they aren't bad! The prices are really good though! The store felt very cold, I'm not sure how else to describe it! no one looked up from what they were doing to smile or say hi when I walked in. There was a sweet older lady that asked if I needed and menu and that's all! It is a huge location and seems as though they offer lots of options! I have tried the cookies as well and they are good!

This was my first time trying King cake. The one pictured was filled with strawberry. It was baked at Cinnottis bakery and sandwich shop. They have a location at the beach and another downtown and open for breakfast and lunch daily. It is a family-owned business. The pumpkin donuts are a must every fall.

We loved EVERYTHING about our visit! The donuts were amazing - especially the strawberry donut! Super kind lady cleaning the tables(even as we ate!) so cleanliness was top notch. I shared the breakfast pita with my sister too which was amazing. It was our first time and the cashier seemed put off by my (minimal) questions so I didn't order as much as I would have liked- it wasn't very busy either as it was late morning but she made feel super rushed like I was wasting her time. Overall we had a great experience with the food and can't wait to return.

Ask the Community - Cinotti's Bakery & Deli

Why was there such a line out the door last Sat at 1 pm? Is that normal?

Depends on events, most likely longer than normal as they close shortly after and it was Super Bowl weekend. They make specialty donuts and cookies with the team colors and pictures.

    Do they have jelly donuts?

Hi! We do have jelly donuts. We make them every morning. You can always call ahead and have them preordered to make sure you get exactly what you want.

Someone please update the hours listed on here! It says you close at 5:00. I got here and your door sign says 3:00?

Can you get cake by the slice here?

Not by the slice. But we do offer our cupcakes that match our cakes.

The place is very busy so expect a little delay. The day we went card machine was not working great so a little bit of a longer line. Plenty of seats inside and outside. Tons of goofy things on the walls to look at while you wait for your sub. It's fairly bright inside. Ok on to the food. I ordered the Shane it was fantastic. I didn't realize it was a hot sub but it was still great! My wife order the 904 and as she ate it she started to cry because of how good it was and the fact that we are moving away. We also order the fry/tater tot combo! So dam good! Ask for the fry sauce!!!!!!! Tons of drink options including beer!!!!! I also had the banana pudding not the best I have ever had but pretty dang good. 4.2 out of 5 for banana pudding. I don't give out 5 stars often so you know this place is legit!!

It was a first time visit for both of us. I told the young lady neither of us had been there before and she offered to run through the menu for us which was great. I loved that. She described "The Peruvian" as (her words) "meat heavy". I've heard amazing things in the past about the Peruvian sauce, so that is what I landed on and chose to have it on their onion roll. Hubby went with the "Angie's Philly". I want to preface this with my husband and I had complete opposite opinions and you're going to hear about both of them. For me: When I heard the words "meat heavy" I did expect a larger than normal amount of meat, and maybe thats on me, or a lost in translation example, because in my mind this is not "meat heavy". HOWEVER, before you start angry typing, I REALLY enjoyed my sandwich. It was absolutely delicious and at one point (which I will touch on further down) I looked at my husband and said "Yeah... this is so much better than Larry's". I even put a little extra Peruvian sauce on it while devouring it. The bread was toasted perfectly, had GREAT flavor. I could have easily had a second (or maybe double meat? ) Anyways, zero co.plaints except for the lost in translation expectation. I hope that makes sense. Now, for my husband, who is extremely difficult to please. At first, when our sandwiches were delivered to the table, he was given someone else's sandwich and he ended up having to send it back and wait on his, while I started on mine. Whatever, mistakes happen, shit happens, and we weren't in any kind of rush, so no biggie. When his sandwich arrived and he began to eat it, he was disappointed. He said it doesn't taste like they season the meat at all and it felt bland. He noted that the cheese was melted on top and could have used more cheese chopped and grilled in the meat along with more mayonnaise. He's picky. About halfway though, he said he'd give it a 3 out of 5. Then began to finish the second half and apparently bit into some areas that were burnt and overcooked and dropped it to a 2.5. He said it wasn't bad enough not to complain or send back but not good enough to write home about. So that's the take for today's visit. We would both (especially me) try them out again in the future, and I personally can see why they're so loved.

It has a large menu with many sandwiches, meats, sausages, among other great stuff to choose from. Our first moments here began by just navigating around the restaurant to see what it was all about. There are large number of wine and beer selections. Though I abstain from alcoholic beverages, I would guess that most are of the European variety - they have beer on the tap setup across from the dessert counter. After the quick self-tour and a conversation with the manager, we lodged in our seats and got ready to order. I actually was hoping the cafe offered speciality coffee like a latte, but that was quickly dashed when the server said they only served regular or decaf coffee. Initially I was disappointed but ordered one anyway. When it arrived and I dressed it up a little with some Splenda and Coffee Mate, I found it to be one the best regular cups of coffee I've had in a long time. We took a while to order because it is a sizable menu. However, I was sold immediately on the Rueben sandwich selections and just need to pick one. I settled on the classic Rueben, which was a mix of corned beef, pastrami, sauerkraut, cheese, a superb Thousand Island-type dressing on pumpernickel bread - it was delicious from start to finish! I will note that you can choose other breads and cheeses with the Ruebens. Some options may come at added cost. I'm glad it was large enough to take some home with me. My dearest chose the turkey Parisian. This was a splendid choice with a nice mix of excellent deli turkey, Brie, raspberry sauce, cucumber, and lettuce on a large croissant. Both sandwiches were more than worth the price of admission! Our server displayed excellent courtesy and care throughout our eating experience. I greatly appreciate the manager taking time to chat with me as well. I really felt good at European Street Cafe! With the fantastic artistry on the walls, the large setting of wooden tables and chairs well-spaced and well-organized on both sides of the interior has the look of a classic cafe that has been around for a good number of years. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and has a nice outdoor patio area not far from the entrance. I think I found a great place to visit when I crave a Rueben sandwich! This one today felt like a Time Machine moment for me as my mom made them like this when I was a kiddo! Thanks for making this visit special today European Street Cafe! Recommend: VERY HIGH

Everything on the menu is delicious, the staff is wonderful, and they stand up to bigotry in their own backyard. You can't get much better than that. The only drawback (if you can even consider it one) is just figuring out a good time to arrive to avoid a line. Regardless, even if there is one, the staff moves through it quickly and efficiently. As Sub Cultured is a walk-up window, there's some outside tables to sit, as well as the option of sitting in your car for that car-hop action. Otherwise, you're so close to the beach and parks that taking your sandwiches for a picnic isn't a bad idea either. If you can't find parking immediately at Sub Cultured, there's a little shopping center just next door since there doesn't seem to be much for street parking outside of their handful of spots. All of that said, I'm a transplant to Jacksonville via the Navy since 2004. One of the biggest cravings that I have from back home is a real authentic sausage, pepper, and onion grinder. I can't even begin to describe to y'all how great Sub Cultured's is with that spicy Italian sausage and perfectly cooked peppers and onions. Add a little spicy brown mustard and you're all set.

Maybe I'd ask for the sauces to be served on the side. The fries were okay - they did fill the styrofoam box to the brim and was generous in serving two cups of the Cosmic sauce; I think these could have been dropped fresh, as when we received them, they seemed as if they were prepared in advance and was sitting for a bit. I ordered online for takeout and got the Mercury combo (Mercury burger & cosmic fries) for 15$ and the Venus wings for 135. The mercury burger was by far my favorite item I had but i was expecting that it would be a little bigger with the price tag but I ain't mad at it, it was still a great burger nonetheless. The cosmic fries were below average and that could stem from the way the fries are made (shoestring style) but even then the seasoning on it was nothing special. The cosmic fries came with a cosmic sauce that was great and was a perfect addition to the burger. The Venus wings were solic with pretty good texture but ridiculously overpriced with a price tag of 13$ for 5 wings which is a scam, if you charging 15$ for wings they gotta be the best wings ever (they weren't). The Buffalo sauce that comes with the wings was definitely hot and the bba and ranch were decent. All in all, it's a solid spot that ! could see myself coming back to for their Mercury burger.
