I cannot say enough good things about Haldeman Ford in Hamilton Twp., especially our sales rep Rich Palumbo. We purchased a 2019 Subaru Outback in July and the experience was awesome. Got a great price on our trade and on the car. Right before we left the dealership the TPM light came on. They paid for 4 new tire pressure monitors and a new battery. Also, there was a chip in the windshield which appeared to be filled previously. Even though the warranty does not cover this, their collision dept. replaced the windshield at no cost to us. However, the new glass was cracked when we went to pick up the car. We bought the car home as we needed it for the weekend. They are coming to our home an hour away to pick up the car and leave us a loaner. Rich has been on top of this from the beginning. We really appreciate the service we have received from Rich and the dealership. Any car dealer can give you a good price but not many can give you this type of service. I brought my truck to Haldeman Ford of Hamilton for warranty service due to a failing transmission and a bad front left wheel bearing. The dealership kept the vehicle for approximately one week and then contacted me stating they had test driven the truck 80 miles and found no issues. I was told to pick the vehicle up. When I dropped the truck off, the fuel range displayed 47 miles until empty. When I picked it up, the fuel range still displayed 47 miles until empty. This suggests the vehicle was not test driven as claimed. Because the issues persisted, I took the truck to Burlington Ford, where technicians confirmed the transmission had failed and the front left wheel bearing was bad. Based on this experience, I would not recommend purchasing or servicing a vehicle at this dealership. read more

By far the worst customer service of any dealership I've been too. My wife bought a used Kia from them a few months back and within 6 weeks it ran out of oil. We brought it to a Kia dealership to get the issue diagnosed and during that time the motor went. We haven't had a car for 3 weeks now and this dealership has done nothing even though it happened while the car was still under warranty. My son purchased a pre owned jeep June 20t. It was in pristine shape inside and out. We live in Pa and needed a PA inspection. Besides the fact it took over a month for his tags to come in, it failed inspection due to the rear axles leaking and the car should never of been sold that way. It could of been a tragic safety hazard. They said they would fix it, we dropped it off for service August 12, we were told it will take 1 day. Here we are, September 8th and NO JEEP!! The excuse after excuse and the lies after lies as to why it wasn't worked on. They NEVER once reached out to us, the ONLY contact was from either my son or myself reaching out to them. They never offered s rental, when my son asked about one, they said they had one being returned that night and they would call, they never did. They said they had to order the part, days went by, nothing, we called again, now they do not have the tool to fix it so they have to send it toa jeep dealership. Pretty incompetent. They told my son the wrong dealership it was at and we only found that out because we kept calling for an update and finally someone there realized it was at another jeep dealership. We found out from them that the jeep had just been dropped off 2 days prior UNANNOUNCED which means Haldeman ford had his jeep sitting there for 2 weeks while they lied to us. Jeep was short technicians and could not get to my sons jeep for a couple weeks. Luckily they just fixed it, 4 weeks later and it only took them a few hours. They did the job Friday Sept 5th, Haldeman ford picked the jeep up friday and still have yet to call. With the info that the jeep is done, my son reached out to haldeman to say we are picking up the car today regardless. We have called countless times and left multipin voicemails and no one calls back or answered the phone. I even called the GM who has yet to call back, shocker. The pure incompetence, lack of dignity, integrity, customer care and customer safety is disgusting. Since you have had my son's jeep for a month, you can refund him a car payment. At this point you have had his jeep longer then he has owned it. Bottom line is you should of never sold the jeep leaking like that. I know Nj is not mandated to do a safety inspection but what about a safety check. DO you bother to look at cars before you sell them? This could of been a tragedy. Shame on you. read more

Went to Haldeman Ford 3 x and talked to Max ( he Se Habla Espanol !), he was very patiance with me and all my questions, Steve the finance guy was great about answering my questions, I finally decided on a Ranger and love love love it, Isaiah ( the service writer) gets kudos , when I went back to get my plates he over heard me talking to Max ( who was very busy taking care of a customer ) and instead of letting me wait or having to come back, Isaiah stepped up put plates on for me ( he did not have to do it), but the friendliness of the dealer reflects on how they " care" about their customers and potential customers read more

I bought my 2016 Ford Edge Titanium in 2020 at a dealership in California. In March of 2023, my car was just out of warranty at 107,505 miles. I needed a new transmission. I paid for it. $6,163.83 out of pocket. The transmission had a 2 year warranty on it. About 2 weeks ago 08/07/2025, I took it back in, because it was jolting, and having trouble shifting gears. My mechanic had already told me that it was the transmission but advised me to go back to Ford since they had just replaced it in March of 2023. I dropped my car off to Javi, who was wonderful and updated me in the time frame he gave me. He confirmed that I did need another transmission and it was a little under $8,000. My car was then at around 145,000 miles. So less than 50,000 miles & it already needs ANOTHER transmission. Obviously, I was upset. I met with Randy, the service manager, where I explained my situation, hoping we could come to a joint solution, as they had put the last transmission in. While bringing up previous service records, I was told that the car actually had the transmission replaced prior to me buying it in 2019. So this car was needing a FOURTH transmission in less than 10 years. Randy was completely unhelpful, arrogant and his only solution was to offer me 10% off the service. Ford was offering $500 for a trade-in value. KBB value of this car with a working transmission is around $5,000. So had I of replaced the transmission, I would be paying more than the cars worth. I was hoping to get more for trade-in value due to it being their negligent transmission that they put in my car. No car needs a 4th transmission, honestly probably ever in its lifetime, let alone in less than 10 years and at less than 150,000 miles. Because of Randy, I will never bring my cars to ford to be serviced ever again. DO NOT get your cars serviced at this Ford dealership. While dealing with the transmission fiasco, I was looking online at Ford's used selection of vehicles. Rich called me regarding an inquiry I put in. Rich was and is the ONLY reason I bought another car from Ford. Had someone else called me, or I just went in there, I would have taken my business elsewhere. Once I explained to Rich the situation I was going through, he asked when I could come in, so I could meet with Randy and then we could go from there. So I did. When we got there, Rich was so pleasant and brought to Randy. After Randy wasted my time, Rich took over and we looked at cars that I was wanting. He was the BEST salesman I've ever had and I've bought multiple cars. He wasn't pushy, he answered all my questions on the history of the cars, pulled all the car faxes I requested and explained the things on the Carfax that I was questioning. He made the entire process such a relief after what I had been dealing with. I knew I wanted a car that I could purchase a warranty on, so we narrowed it down to a Lincoln MKS, which I love. 10/10 I would send ANYONE to Rich to buy a car from! Then onto Blake. He was the one who explained to me my warranty options. He came out with basically every option that was available for my car and again, sat down with me and explained it to me, we went over how much I was likely drive in a year, what the pricing would be since I was paying cash for the car & warranty, etc. I wish everyone had a Blake & Rich. 10/10 for both Blake & Rich!! I believed with Ford's reputation in the line this might be a place you can trust with your vehicle . Instead they charge you high prices and then you get your car back and it isn't running . Then you can pay to tow your car back to Ford even though it was running when you started the process . So now you can pay them the second time to fix the same problem while they assure you the thing they replaced I itally coincidentally totally needed fixing in spite of it not fixing the problem. My advice if you are driving by here and your engine starts smoking in front of them, and you realize that the engine is in fire don't even go in there and ask them for a glass of water just let your Ford burn . Brought my vehicle in for service to have my driver side window repaired. The technician replaced the wiring harness on the door to the power windows. Picked it up that day and on the way home stopped for gas only to have the gas pump door flopping in the wind. Called Haldeman service the next day , told them the issue. I said the technician must have damaged it by accident, they said to bring it in. Brought it in, a technician looked at it and then proceeded to give me the price. I told him it worked fine 2 days before I brought it in so it should be on them. Now This is my work vehicle and I'm in it every day, so I know it inside and out. She then goes and talks to the service manager Randy. Comes back and tells me it's not their fault. The part cost $132 plus 1 hour of labor at $200. But they would eat $100. I told her no way so she back to Randy and explained my position. I then watched Randy on the other side of the door ( just 10 feet away) tell her that it was my fault and they would not in any way pay more than $100. He stormed off and she came back to explain. I was furious he couldn't come through the door and explain it to me himself. This was a sign of a coward that had to send someone else . In my business I deal with customers all the time. If there is a chance one of my guys damaged something I discuss it with them and work out a resolution. I also just spend $2600 on service for 2 vehicles. The arrogants of Randy not to talk to to me. This is no way to treat a customer. So for a $300 fix he lost a service customer for life, plus bad reviews and a new car purchase. Haldeman Ford on rt 33 Mercerville NJ is not a recommended place to shop . I stopped in there 3 time this year. Once in early October 2024, once on December 13 and finally today, December 17. I walked onto the lot looking at their inventory then proceeded into the showroom. I spent 15-20 minutes looking at the vehicles in the showroom including the Lighting that was on display. I've been looking at the EVs for a while now and am interested in a Lightning. In the meantime from Mid Oct to Dec 11, I test drove 3 lightning in florida and really wanted to purchase one as the dealerships there were helpful, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. Since I'm a resident in NJ, i wanted to buy locally. I had nothing but wonderful experiences at the dealerships in Florida where I reside in the winter. I a back NJ now for the holidays and am ready to buy. All 3 times I visited Haldeman's place of business, no one ever took the time to greet or approached me. Employees were talking with co workers, a few were busy looking intently their phones, no one seemed particularly interested in being at work let alone getting off their LAZY A$$ES to say hello or ask if I heeded help. This is poor, poor, poor customer service and reflects greatly on their business. Haldeman Ford in my eyes, must not need any sales to stay in business. Once again, this happened on all 3 of my visits to that establishment. I will NEVER recommend nor shop there again. I've owned 3 Fords in my time and never experienced the lack of customer service at any other dealership. This place deserves to go belly up. The dealer (through Walter) took our deposit for a Mach-E Premium with extended range battery on October 14 and sent us a contract and car sticker, saying it would be delivered mid-November. I have texts and a credit card bill that show all of this. You can also see the car on Ford's website. On October 28 Walter called to try to sell us a more expensive model (The GT). On November 3 Walter called me. He started the call by saying something about us wanting a Mach-E Select, a car which doesn't have most of the features we want, and telling me they won't sell me the car we had put a deposit on. He also tried to get me to buy a used car, which would mean giving up the government incentives. Certainly tried to play me for a fool on the "select" comment. Do you think this was bate and switch, or an honest mistake? Please also note the dealer's draft contract had a $299 optional fee for an auto theft insurance policy that Walter told me Haldeman supposedly puts into all contracts. Seems pretty sleazy, but Walter was willing to remove it. My experience with the parts department concerning a Ford charger was also awful. My view is that one star is too high! read more

There's good and not so good with working with the used car sales person and his manager. Early in the process they were very transparent about some paint damage on the roof and both quarter panels on a 2019 Ford Explorer Sport. After asking what they would do to fix the damage they told me they would as they wanted to sell the car and take my 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt in trade. Based upon their commitment to repaint the roof and buff out the other scratches on the quarter panels I made a deposit with my CC. A couple days later after they had supposedly checked with their in house body shop they decided that they were not going to repaint the roof, etc. as it was too expensive. As compensation they offered to discount the price of the vehicle $750 and if I wanted the roof painted I could take care of that at my expense. Suffice it to day that $750 would not be enough to get the roof painted. The good is that they were transparent about the condition of the vehicle. The bad and most disappointing part is that they broke their verbal contract to do the body work required to repair the damage to the roof and quarter panels. I do not recommend doing business with Haldeman Ford. read more

Update: The GM ( George Abel) reached out to me the next business day about my dropped Bronco order and initial unfortunate interaction with one of their employees. They admitted their mistake and took ownership of the problem. They rectified it by finding me a car that was almost identical to the one I ordered. The sales team ( Kevin and Brandon ) were awesome . Steve from finance was thorough and patient. We finalized the sale today without a hitch. I would definitely recommend this dealership . Everyone makes mistakes .They were able to take a bad situation and turn it around in a timely and very efficient manner. read more

What do you say about a dealer who takes your order for a new 2022 Maverick, takes your money, and then a year later tells you that the order was cancelled 10 months ago, but they never notified us why, and where was our deposit money? After asking George Abel where my deposit money was a year later he quickly credited it back to my credit card. He only did this because I asked for my Private offer on a 2023 Maverick which I was entitled to. I hope Mr. Abel finally explains to me and all involved, where my order is, who cancelled it, and how my order was changed 6 months later from a Ford Maverick to a Ford f150. I have given Mr Abel every opportunity to correct his dealership fraud, with no explanation to date. His offer was to order a 2023 and pay the 2023 price instead of the offer price for a person having an accepted 2022 order by Ford Motor Company. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER!!! !!! Disastrous Experience, Unreliable Service, Unfulfilled Promises !!! I wish I could give zero stars because my experience at Ford Haldeman-Rte 33, Hamilton NJ was an absolute nightmare. I did inquire about the service, and next steps before towing my car into the dealership. I brought my car in for service with a list of issues, expecting professional and timely assistance from a reputable Ford dealership. Instead, I was met with incompetence, unfulfilled promises, and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. To start with, the service advisor Javier promised a full diagnostic report for the issues and an estimate for the repairs. He seemed more interested in pushing for repair asap without any detailed diagnosis. At 8am he calls me for the repair estimate of $1800 with 5 hours of labor. At 11am he calls me again for car pick up, which means they did not take 5 hours for labor. To be more arrogant, he asked me to pick up the same day, nor I will face $50 storage charge per day. I was actually travelling out of town, and I tried explaining to Javier, but he did not budge. They tried to make money instead of carefully fixing the actual issues with my vehicle. It felt like I was being upsold at every turn, with no genuine concern for resolving the problems I came in for. It's disappointing to see a dealership prioritize profits over customer care. No warranty details of the work was given, even though I kept asking for it. He did not even know how to correctly type in a phone number for updates. Each time I called for an update, I was met with vague responses and promises that were never fulfilled. It's evident that their communication skills and organizational abilities are severely lacking. To add insult to injury, when I finally got my car back, it was clear that the work hadn't been completed as I got the engine light next day. I take the car in again, and was told there were more wires damaged. Service advisor SAL, states that it will be $400 labor, and $80 parts, with a $200 diagnostic fee. Some of the issues I initially reported were still present, and in some cases, new problems had emerged. It's unacceptable to pay for service only to receive subpar results. I went in to the dealership to seek more assistance. Mike, took down all the notes, and promised to have the service tech call back, and resolve the issue. It has been 2 weeks and there has been no call, no text, no email as to any update on the car nor service. The overall lack of professionalism and accountability at Haldeman Ford-Route 33, Hamilton NJ is deeply concerning. As a customer, I expect transparency, reliability, and competent service, none of which was delivered during my visit. It's apparent that this dealership prioritizes profit margins over customer satisfaction, and I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. This particular location is not an actual Subaru service station (it is but it isn't), it is in the bigger Ford Dealership area. I didn't like much of how I had to park on the other side of the freaking planet and then go in, give them my info and wait for almost an hour for an oil change. I like the places you can drive up to the service door, come in, get out and they scan your car and your in and out in 30 minutes. The waiting area was nice. Checked others and found 2 others not even hand tight. Brought it to them and they refunded the service. - STRIKE TWO They changed the serpentine belt and check for leaks. They called and said the transfer case might be leaking. After they changed the serpentine belt, my wife picked up the car but heard a rumbling on the way home. Turns out they never re-secured the lower motor shroud. So it was dragging on the ground. They refused to help get it fixed. They tried to say they don't remove the shroud to do the serpentine belt. But they check the transfer case!- STRIKE THREE This place is a joke. Run by jokers. They don't return calls. They can't get out of their own way. Find someone else. Never again. read more

We bought 2017 Ford Explorer because we have a big family and it would be reliable to drive around. Then when we went to point pleasant the car had an issue the whole way driving home. Then it sat there for a little bit and went Haldeman Ford. It was there for months. Once we finally got the car back, it was barley a week later until my dad was in the car with his wife that he could have been killed the brake failed. Thankfully nobody got hurt and my dad was able to stop the car. Turns out, only one of two bolt in the caliber was screwed in right. read more
