The store is always clean, the selection decent (though not as good as at an Albertson's or Ralph's or the new Stater's previously mentioned), and the prices are low. Now as low as Food 4 Less, but the quality and class of shoppers there tend to be quite a bit higher. And of course - there's the full service butcher that Stater's has always been known for!! MMmMmMMmm.. I still come here to pick up items now and then. Its a good, solid store to frequent.

Once inside, the store is massive, very well stocked, and surprisingly easy to navigate, which makes a big difference. Everything feels organized, and I can usually find what I'm looking for without wandering aimlessly. I like that it truly works as a one stop shop with groceries, home items, and electronics all under one roof. The fact that there's even a McDonald's inside feels like a bonus reward for surviving a Walmart run.

She was so rude for literally no reason. First, she snapped at someone. I don't remember who it was but she was really rude to that person. I brushed it off but then she started giving me attitude as well. She spoke to me like I was stupid when I mindlessly gave her $43 (I rushed since she was already pissy). She looked at me annoyed and stated that "the total [was] $24.78". I told her "oh yeah sorry. I wasn't thinking." She GLARED at me--cash in hand--and asked "what do I do with this?" I responded with "just take as much as needed". I didn't even give her attitude back. She seemed annoyed nonetheless and then proceeded to give me back my change all in ones LMAOO.. bye. My partner (who is also a grocery store worker) informed me that cashiers often do this to costumers who are "annoying or an inconvenience." But like damn wtf? Because I didn't even do anything. I respect service workers. I am one myself. I even apologized for the inconvenience and watched out for my tone. It was HER! After she checked us out she gave attitude to the costumers that came after us as well. Like they JUST got there. They didn't even get a word in before she caught an attitude with them. Imagine an annoyed parent snapping at their child. That's what she was like the entire time. I can understand if she's going through something or if she hates her job but she shouldn't have taken it out on random people. We're all struggling in some way, shape, or form. She can try to push others down all she wants but 1) it's not gonna make her problems go away and 2) it's unprofessional. I was gonna let it go but she was part of why I had a such a bad day so it doesn't feel all that insignificant anymore. Now I'm thinking of everyone else she was rude to. What if they were going through something worse than I? What if they were constantly getting mistreated and then some random worker at Aldi treats them like an absolute waste of space? That's sad. I always gotta check my receipt with Food 4 Less/Ralphs because, either something doesn't ring up correctly or the digital coupons don't give the discount. Anyhow, I noticed the blueberries rang up at the original price, instead of the sale price. Im reading my receipt as I'm walking towards the exit, and notice what I think to be, a Customer Service counter. One guy was behind the counter, and the another was in front, on the other side of the counter, and were talking. As I walk up, he doesn't greet me, but looks at me and is still talking. The employee on the front side of the counter is the one who greeted me and asked if I needed help. Like why is he back there, at a Customer Service counter, NOT providing Customer Service?!?? I tell her what happened, and she tells me I have to get back in line at the same cashier I went to!....Huh?!?! This not a Customer Service counter?!?! Apparently not...now that explains why he looked at me, like I was a bother. So I get back in line, and tell the cashier, and she apologizes and refunds me the money I overpaid. That's a inconvenience to the customer to have to wait back in line, for the stores mistake.

My wife initially connected with Anna, who was phenomenal. I later met with her in person to place the deposit, and she was incredibly warm, accommodating, and welcoming. She even took the time to offer us a few samples of their prepared foods, which was such a thoughtful touch. Before leaving, I decided to grab about 2 pounds of pork pastor for dinner, and asked if they could cook it for me. I was genuinely shocked in the best way at how affordable it was. The price for the meat plus the cooking fee came out to less than $10. When I got home and tried it, all I can say is wow. The pork was incredibly flavorful, tender, and absolutely delicious. The next day when I returned to pick up our large order, everything was ready right on time. The team went above and beyond by helping load everything into my car and even placing napkins underneath the trays to prevent any spills. That level of care really stood out. At church, everyone kept talking about how great the food was. The chicken and steak were both big hits, the beans were very good, and I was honestly surprised at how fresh and flavorful the guacamole was. All in all, this was a top-tier experience. The people at Trader Joe's were patient, friendly, and understanding. I accidentally bumped into a wine display case and I was able to save a wine bottle that was falling to the floor but a second wine bottle hit the floor and broke. I wasn't charged for the broken wine bottle. I would come back to this store again.
