I pulled over to grab some gas, but whoa, dude! Imagine my pure bummer when I saw that the OG Circle K was gone, replaced by the Corner Market with no gas pumps! I never even realized Circle closed up shop, man. It kinda bummed me out for a sec but then I spotted something rad. The new owner put up a poster to show that the iconic spot where Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure was shot is still there bro! Yeah, not the original poster 'cause the previous owner snatched it up because it was signed by Keanu. But hey, pretty cool nonetheless. So I ended up snagging a delicious hazelnut coffee and started chattin' with the employee, who spilled interesting deets about the closure and the Corner Market takeover. Every time we come here it's practically packed and people are waiting to gain access to a gas pump or a parking spot and it just adds to the congestion and choas. Going inside is a sadly scripted comedy show listening to the drama unfold as 3 employees stand behind a counter discussing some issue with the restroom(s). Come time to check out there's only 1 cashier to be seen and she's having some difficulty issuing lottery tickets and what appears to be an open register is counter space monopolized with product being stocked. It amazes me that every year that I am in Walgreens about this time of year something new pops up. Just take some time out of your hectic day or week and just have some fun and enjoy some time away from your normal life. Sometimes it's the little things that make your day. They also have a small/basic selection of pet supplies and they have kitchen utensils. Overall this seems like a very versatile shop, having just about everything you need, until 2am. The cashier was polite and friendly, though he didn't offer me a receipt and I didn't notice until later, and I would have liked one. Oh well.
