I often hop on over to this Circle K if I'm in the mood for a soda or something else since I live nearby. The employees are always very friendly. Some times a bit too friendly as I've had to wait in line because they're having a chat with another customer at the register. But hey, I'd rather experience that than an employee who seems dead on the inside which is far too common of an experience at convenience stores. I don't think I would come here if I was driving. The parking lot is very small. Too small to accommodate all the businesses there. If I had to drive, I would just plan on parking on the streets around there and avoid even going into the lot. read more

They need to put the option for -1 star on here. The cashier "Dave" who says he is the manager is so rude and very aggressive. He denied me service and went to try and went to try and physically stop me and block me when I was just trying to get a soda from the soda fountain and all because he was MOPPING and said he was tired of dealing with people like me and obviously didn't want to have to mop over the area again even though it was already dry. He never encountered me prior to this incident a day in his life, so how would he know what "category" of people I fall under? Idk what he meant by that but anyways super rude, super aggressive and threatened to call the cops on me, for trying to get a soda lol he is obviously ok with treating customers like this because he probably always gets away with it because it's most likely a franchise giving the entire circle K name a bad look and bad rep. This place used to be the shiz I have lived here down the street my entire life and watched this place go in fazes with its different owners and workersetc it's always been great until now it's gotten weird example the em shift this is a 247 open establishment and is promoted as such except this newer guy who works the night shift has decided most of his shift to look the doors tonight it's 2-4 and honestly you'll be lucky to have him open it back at four unless u r ready to verbally battle with bro - is this how it's being operated now if so you should definitely advertise as so and please update your hours I've stood here waiting hours for the doors to open at this unsafe time of night alone because dudes inside as I type blasting music and talking loud enough I can hear outside the doors his phone conversation just big chillin yea that's all the way out. read more

I went in there and got a Polar pop I accidentally filled it up too much so halfway from the machine to the register it started dripping and the Lady working behind the register started yelling at me about how i made a mess and she's the only one there now she has to mop everywhere and so I grabbed a rag and I cleaned it up myself. And then I told her that I work at a restaurant where there's food there's also food here and drinks here. And I told her that I would never ever tell a customer what she just told me I would always say to the customer you know what ma'am it's no problem I got it don't worry about it. the customer service here sucks from this lady. Would like to warn future customers. This evening I went in to purchase lotto tix. One of my slips was worn and the machine wouldnt take it so I paid for my tix on my other slips which totalled $6 and gave the cashier "Preet" a $50 dollar bill. Preet took the money and said "Thank You Good Luck". I stood there and he stood there staring back at me. I asked if he intended to give me my change. Only then did he go the register and gave me my change. I then went to the counter in the rear to fill out a new form and returned to the counter to pay for the tickets. The tix cost $10 and I gave Preet a $20 bill. Again he took the money closed the cash register and replied "Thank You good luck". I asked "are we going to play this game again?? Do you try to steal from all your customers??? He then went to the cash register to retrieve my change. I asked if he was the manager and he replied "no". I intend to go back tomorrow and speak to whoever the manager is. Its clear he does this to every customer. If I could, it would be a zero star!!! I will never go to this place of "so called business" again. The long blonde haired woman with a slight Russian accent (who would not give me her name or her managers name or the owners name for that matter, has no idea of what customer service means! I just went in to get 4 separate sheets for different friends for the 1.6 billion Dollar lotto draw for tonight. It took her forever to run the sheets thru... she seemed so confused. I finally got the tickets only to find out when I got home to pass out the tickets to my friends, that she ran the same exact sheet twice and one sheet not at all. I went back to fix this problem, Silly me, thinking they would rip up the duplicate and print the unrun sheet for me.. no such luck. She said she wouldn't tear up the duplicate and give me the sheet she mess up on. She said she planned on selling my numbers to someone else or keeping them herself!!! If I win I am not splitting my numbers with her !!! How many times does she do this to get free tickets??? I finally kept the duplicate ticket and bought the additional ticket across the street!!! This place is awesome. I went in looking for a specific seltzer beer, new golden road seltzer fruit cart, and they were very helpful in guiding me to where it is. I think the person who helped me was Rani and she was very nice to me. They even had ALIEN FRESH BEEF JERKY. You can't find that anywhere. I felt comfortable in the store. I don't agree with the other review that said they aren't following orders for COVID. They had signs everywhere and all employees wore a mask and gloves. Right when I walked in there was sanitizer available. I can imagine they don't want to confront people with tensions so high everywhere. Store is really clean and I felt safe. read more

I've stopped into this store several times to pick up random items, and never been overwhelmed by service or selection. What can one say, It's a Circle K? But the other morning, at 6:30am, I was involved in a car accident at the intersection right outside the store (Topanga & Lassen) and did not have my phone on me. I went into the store to ask if I could use their phone and was very rudely told no. Instead of telling me that there might be another store in the plaza that is open and would have a phone, I was told that the next shift started at 7am and I could ask the next guy. To top it off, the clerk then followed me out to come gawk at those of us involved in the accident. I don't know... but that's very unconscious & insensitive behavior. I lived in Chatsworth for a year, and this Circle K was a two-minute walk from my home, so it became my regular convenience store. The immediate neighborhood leaves much to be desired, and clientele in this Circle K ranged from pleasant to slightly ragged to completely degenerate. However, the regular shopkeepers whom I knew -- Nick, Moose, and Kennedy -- were always friendly and courteous to everyone. The store is well-stocked with everything -- not just booze, but the basics, such as bread, butter, milk, eggs, cheese, tuna, dog food, and all toiletries. It is more than a 7-11. WARNING/CAUTION. This establishment is not following the orders from the LA County Health Dept. regarding COVID-19. I watched two men enter the store without masks on. I watched one of them go up to the cashier to ask something and the man behind the counter said nothing to them about wearing a mask. This type of behavior puts ALL of their customers at risk of contracting the virus. They even have a copy of the public health order posted , but it is not being enforced. When questioned about this , the employee became defensive, said "what am I to do." I told him to read the order from public health. No mask ,no service ! Businesses like this don't care about COVID and don't care about their customers. Another example of profits over people. They're 24 hours, they have a large upscale liquor selection, which is uncommon to find at a convenience store, and the people who work here are super chill and really cool. Great little market when you just don't feel like going to Ralphs or Traders or Whole Foods or anywhere which requires driving. It's very convenient and the staff, especially Kennedy, is very attentive to the needs of shoppers. He found out what some of my favorite wine is and has started carrying it, so that's really very nice to have. The staff is also really welcoming when I come in toting Freeway and AzureBelle, so the place rocks all the way around. Now if only they had delivery services, lol.
