Went inside to question why I was allowed to buy a car wash when it is not working and store management stepped out to address my question. The answer provided was the car wash was a separate business and they had no connection. He went on to say that the code was good for 2 weeks and I could come back when it was working. Geez! Come on, really? You buy a car wash at a gas station as a convenience play to do then; nobody buys a car wash to come back. PUT "OUT OF SERVICE" SIGNS ON THE TANK, EAGLES. Almost never, as in rarely, have to wait to pull up to the pump...and then it might be behind one car already pumping their gas...so VERY different from Costco experience and it's not at all convenient traveling to that midtown store location not to mention the crazy lines you must wait in at their pumps!!! I don't know how prices compare but the convenience of BJ's location and the hassle free experience is worth any possible cost difference to me. I pay it off every month so no finance charges on credit card...AND I also get credit for purchases so I can then apply to future in-store purchases...a win-win all the way around to me!

The clerk was useless in correcting the overcharge. The line was very long because she was alone and it was Christmas Day, when everything else was closed. Because it rang up over $17 she wouldn't refund me. She said to come back the next day (today, Saturday) and talk to her manager. I went back. No manager. The same clerk was there and said that she didn't know why he "left early", and said to come back Monday when he is back. Something doesn't smell right. Update: 2 days later, caught up with the manager, he refunded me the difference. He said that the clerk could not go ahead and refund me the first time because it was alcohol, which is priced by the distributors. I'm glad that the manager refunded the overcharge, and was polite, but something isn't right here.

Upon arrival, I expected to receive the $0.20 per gallon discount BP is currently offering Amazon Prime members through the Earnify app, a deal I've used successfully for the past two Fridays at this same location. An older Black gentleman, tall and slim, usually assists me with no issue--but he was not there this time. Instead, I was met with shocking unprofessionalism from multiple staff members. The young Black female attendant rolled her eyes, walked away while I was still speaking, and turned her back to continue stocking cigarettes. When I asked her to get the manager, she began speaking through a back door to someone and claimed she was "repeating everything" the manager was saying. I insisted I needed to speak directly with the manager. Eventually, the white female manager came out and was equally dismissive and unhelpful. The situation became embarrassing, especially in front of a store full of customers. I asked for a refund of the $30 I had just paid in cash since I no longer wished to do business there. They struggled at the register for quite some time to give my money back and never offered an apology or explanation. I was not provided with a receipt either. I should also note that there's an Ethiopian man who sometimes works at this location as well, but unfortunately, there's a consistent language barrier and I have a hard time communicating with him during visits. I don't have names, so I've had to describe the individuals involved. After this humiliating experience, I drove to another nearby BP hoping to still redeem the promotion. While the attendant there did try to assist me, he was also unable to apply the discount--so I ended up paying full price at $2.99/gallon. I have multiple promotional emails and screenshots proving this deal is active. If BP cannot honor these promotions across locations, they should not advertise them. This is unacceptable and incredibly frustrating. I am requesting: * A formal apology * A phone call from the store owner or district manager * A complimentary gift card for the inconvenience, wasted gas, and time. I was late getting to my destination due to this unnecessary and unprofessional ordeal. I've also written BP corporate offices about this disgusting experience.
