My 11-year-old granddaughter gets any burger plain, just the cheese, meat, and bun, and she LOVES them, my daughter gets the Butter Burger Deluxe, and I switch around, with the mushroom Swiss being one of my favorites. This place gets a 5 not based solely on the food, but the staff, and the owners. If you're not a flat burger fan, people seem to love the fish...........maybe one day I'll get around to trying the chicken!

When I brought it to the counter to have it corrected, instead of a simple apology and a swap, I was met with interrogation. A staff member began asking me to essentially prove that my order was wrong, requesting a specific part of the packaging before she'd agree to fix it. She then walked back to our table with me to inspect the receipt and my family's food for herself. I've never in my life had to prove that a restaurant made an error on my order in order to get it corrected. I was polite and even smiled when I took the receipt and the wrong order back to the counter and asked for a correction. The person who responded instantly made me a suspect. I guess, I forgot what part of the South I was in. The correct sandwich did eventually arrive, but by that point the experience had already soured the meal entirely. I won't be returning to this location.

What this tells me is I really like the food and consistency! It sounds like I eat here a lot, and to be fair, it's probably a few times a month. I have not had one order be inaccurate or anything other than the quality the first time I tried Wayback Burgers. The food is always fresh, hot, and ready to go each and every time. The value is very reasonable and comparable to all the other local options as well. I typically get a custom-made burger with either fries or tater tots. I have also tried their hot dog, which is pretty good as well. Both order options fill me up. I haven't tried the shakes yet, but it's on my list for one of these days. The app is really easier to order, which should be a given, but it amazes me how bad other establishment make their order process in the app. Easy layout, easy to customize, and easy to re-order a favorite. The speed at which my food is ordered, prepared, and available is very reasonable. By the time I place the order in the app and arrive at the location 7 minutes later, the order is ready. The team here is also great. They always meet people with a smile and attentiveness. Clearly, they prioritize the in-person experience by being available and engaging every time someone needs something. I also appreciate that they can see everything in the eating area and can monitor if someone needs something. Wayback Burger is my go-to these days, which is great considering I have at least 10 other options just as close as Wayback is to me. I am never concerned that what I am craving to eat will be anything less than what is delivered.
