It was challenging work for her, because she had to administer an inhaler treatment twice a day to one of the cats, Marlow, despite not having known him before. She did an absolutely wonderful job. He was actually in better shape and coughing less, after we came home than before we left. Both cats looked happy and relaxed. The cat area was left clean and tidy. I will look no further next time we need cat care. We also loved the photos and updates we got each day....it helped us relax much better while away!

I was late, i haven't gotten a cell number so I couldn't notify her. My dog is a high energy dog, that is why i chose a farm. I left him there for 11 days. I haven't heard from her until the 5th day. She didnt respond on my voice mail or email. Then, I finally got a text (no pictures). When i came back, i was assured my dog adjusted well. I saw that his nose was all rubbed against the bedding in his crate. I have no idea how much exercise he got since i havent received any pictures or updates. The hair grew out between his paw pads, means he wasn't running much. The first day at home he had lots of energy. I was expecting him to be exhausted. Since, when i got there, there were only crated dogs, i have no idea about their daily schedule. My dog wasn't as Happy as usaly when he got home previously from other dog boarders. I am conserned since i have gotten no updates and i know she has a full time job beside boarding dogs. There were a tone of them, barking inside... positives: well orgenized, very clean, friendly.

Our dogs always are happy to go there, with no trace of anxiety or fear. On-premises grooming is quite excellent, but for this and several other available customizations , there is a (fully disclosed) up-charge. Pricing is fair, but if you opt for the special attenton packages (camping, hiking, cuddle time, etc.), it can get a little pricey. Hours are sufficiently flexible too.

We were traveling and not due to land back in DC until late afternoon. I expressed this to them, and they told me they could drop him off between 5p and 7p. Well, around noon on the day we were traveling I called them to ask when exactly he'd be dropped off. They told me he had been sitting at our vets office for hours already--no notification he'd be dropped off 7 hours before we expected, nothing. To make matters worse, he also had on no collar because they make you take it off your dog when you drop him off. We were still halfway across the country, making this a very stressful situation. When I called to ask why they would do this, they told me they would "never" have said he could be dropped off that late. They offered no help or recourse, and basically said it was my problem my dog was sitting alone in a vets office while we were still many hours away. Luckily we have friends who could go get him--not sure what we would have done otherwise. Also, the base fee simply gets your dog put in an "enclosure" (cage) and fed. Any other human interaction, including walks, or time outside will cost you extra. I've sat on this for a few months, because I really hate leaving bad reviews. But after sharing our experience with other dog owners I've decided I should write this. Don't board your dog here.

Never did I anticipate today would be my last day with my 12 year old dog Eddie. Following a…read moreroutine dental cleaning yesterday, Eddie sadly succumb to a weakened heart while I was on an errand. For months, Eddie's hearing and eyesight were beginning to fail so in some ways today's passing was not a complete surprise. Still, the shock and disbelief to return home from the hardware store and find Eddie no longer alive was so very painful for me. From the minute I called Forever Faithful to make sure it was open I felt an overwhelming sense of empathy, welcome and reassurance Eddie's cremation needs would be met. My drive from Montgomery County on Georgia Avenue also known as Rt 97 through Howard County into Carroll County provided a optimal time to grieve as I drove along nature in abundance. When I arrived and exited my car I was welcomed and offered assistance the minute I was greeted by a staff member. Once I got settled in the welcome room with Eddie laying peacefully on a dog bed covered with a piece of clear plastic, the process to make cremation selections was presented with much empathy and no pressure. During my drive home I was most grateful to have been able to give my beloved rescue dog a loving lasting tribute thanks to Forever Faithful. I am so very grateful.
