One friend of mine recommended Ming's Place. After checking everything out, Ming's looked like the best place. Arrangements were easy to make and I got our dog's vacation stay scheduled easily. When it came time for dropoff, we arrived and got to take a look at the place and it was just like the pictures I had been sent. The place looked fun for dogs. So we left our lil furbaby with Ming and started our vacation. Day 1 of our vacation, I was pleasantly surprised by Ming and crew sending pictures of my doggie. And not just once a day. I got pics in the AM and also in the PM, twice a day. That made such a huge difference for my family. They looked forward to getting these pics twice a day. I contacted the owner, Chris, and he responded very quickly and was able to arrange to meet my friend and her big lovely poodle very quickly. Chris is very easy to communicate with, very good with following instructions about handling her dog and in understandong any of his quirks. My friend told me that Chris had been wonderful walking her dog, is very kind and respectful and has been very flexible and accommodating in scheduling in accordance with his other commitments. I highly recommend Chris and Capitol Paws. Based on my friend's recommendation, I contacted Chris and met him yesterday to hire him to walk and feed my dog this Saturday as we'll be away for most of the day for my mom's 100th birthday party. My cocker spaniel warmed up to him immediately! We went over walking and feeding information including her issues with some separation anxiety and aggression towards some other dogs when walking and Chris explained how he handles these issues. The owner went above and beyond to help out with my dog during the massive power outage. My dog is…read more5 years old and his bronchial tubes are chronically inflamed. He can't be in the heat and can't 'exercise' too much. It was the 3rd day we were going to be without power, and my dog could not be in the apartment anymore without AC. Additionally, our elevator wasn't working properly and we had to walk up many flights of stairs to get to our apartment (which meant my dog was having difficulty breathing and coughing a lot). Doggies' Den was the only daycare I could find that had power. The owner was very helpful and let my dog come for the day. Typically, he does an 'interview' with potential new dogs and if they pass they have to wait until the next to attend. He made an exception to the waiting rule so my dog be comfortable and safe for the day. Luckily, my power came back on and I was able to pick my dog up after only a few hours. My dog is usually nervous and scared. He usually just lays down and watches the other dogs. However, today he actually played with the other dogs in the day care, and he has been exhausted since I picked him up (which is a good sign to me). Unlike other day cares my dog has gone to Doggies' Den takes the dogs on walks during the day, will feed them if you provide food, and will even administer any medicine the dog may have. Each dog also has their own bin in the lobby to hold their belongings. They also have a real-time webcam on their website so you check in on your dog throughout the day. The owner also had amazing control over the dogs in his care. He recognized each dog's 'voice' and would actively talk to them. While he was talking to me about the paperwork the dogs were barking and as soon as he said "Quiet kids. I will be right there" all the dogs quieted down and continued to play. Even though my power came back on, and my dog could stay home tomorrow without any issues I am going to make the 30 minute one-way drive so my dog can play again. I just wish this place was closer to my house so my dog could go weekly. I would recommend Doggies' Den to anyone looking for a quality place to send their dog.

He's gotten attacked by other dogs multiple times, simply because some people decided to just randomly bring their unsocialized dogs to the dog park. This dog daycare, makes sure that every dog who comes are not only socialized with other dogs but also has good temperament. If you need dog daycare around Germantown area, make sure you check this place out. It might not be fancy or anything, but they will take care of your dog and make sure your little, or in my case-- big, companion will leave happy and tired from playing all day.

I saw that his nose was all rubbed against the bedding in his crate. I have no idea how much exercise he got since i havent received any pictures or updates. The hair grew out between his paw pads, means he wasn't running much. The first day at home he had lots of energy. I was expecting him to be exhausted. Since, when i got there, there were only crated dogs, i have no idea about their daily schedule. My dog wasn't as Happy as usaly when he got home previously from other dog boarders.
