Well let's say that 1st off a bar b q place should have bar b q sauce, not sauce that tastes like ketchup.. and when you say you have cheddar cheese on a potato you should have cheddar cheese, not cheese sauce from a can .. baked beans also came straight from a can and microwaved... the meat was ok but dry and no real babe q sauce to put on it... super disappointing.. we won't be back .. and let's not forget the sticker shock with the prices. , customer service was just ok.. BAD!! I used to love this place. The food was good and they paid attention to the small details. But for the last three times I have made to go orders, they have gotten it terribly wrong. When I call in they tell me why it's not their fault. This last time I ordered very expensive ribs, which is fine, but they gave me the chicken special which was half the price and not well cooked. When I called in they said I was only charged for $9.95 chicken. But my card was charged for RIBS! $20 plus tip! Yes, I tip on to go orders.. The last time we ordered they forgot my wife's order altogether. When the wife is hungry, the husband suffers.. when I called to say the order was wrong, the manager lady kept saying SIR this and SIR that, like I was being difficult. I just wanted my wife to have the meal she paid for. I didn't do anything wrong.. this place has lost all quality control, believe me. Caveat Emptor!!! My wife and I ate there last night! When we got there they greeted us and were very friendly. We ordered and the food arrived very quickly. I ordered a half rack of ribs and my wife ordered the pulled pork sandwich. The sandwich was cold and the meat was very dry. My ribs smelled great but that's where it ended! The ribs were cold when they arrived but I tried to eat them anyway! The ribs were extremely tough and difficult to cut apart with the plastic knife they gave us! I really want there to be a good BBQ place near my home. Sometimes I don't want to smoke my own so I went into Circle S with high hopes....but it was disappointing. I tried their sampler which had ribs, pulled pork, brisket, sausage and chicken. With that came smoked green beans, baked beans, slaw, Mac n Cheese and cornbread. The ribs were nearly inedible. Fall off the bone they certainly aren't, nor are they pull or yank off the bone. Using a knife, I was able to cut some off but it was flavorless and tough. I make better ribs at home...a lot better actually. Come on guys....Ribs are the backbone of a good BBQ joint. The pulled pork was cold, like refrigerator cold but it wasn't tough. It also wasn't flavorful. It tasted like nothing actually. Where is the smoke? The brisket was a good cut, not fatty and cooked well...but it had zero flavor. I mean nothing. Do they own a smoker? If so, it's time to change to a better wood. The sausage was my biggest disappointment. I admit, I can't make sausage at home to save my life. There is a skill to it, and I simply don't have it. I've tried, many times. It's a train wreck but I've never made smoked sausage taste exactly like Jimmy Dean...and these guys somehow did. The chicken...is not bad. Nothing amazing but it's on par with Samsclub rotisserie. Oddly, it's the only piece of meat that had any kind of smoky flavor to it. Smoked green beans are definitely not smoked, the baked beans were pretty good as was the MacNcheese, the slaw I didn't care for. The cornbread was good! So, I gave it a shot. For the most part it was bland but the ribs were worse than that. I can't say I tasted any smoke in any part of that $35 meal other than the chicken. It was intended to be a take home second meal but I tossed it out. If I were to have a conversation with the owner I would suggest a trip into Tampa to Mission BBQ. That is the BBQ joint that all in this area are judged by and they are blowing you away. If you could be even a shadow of them you would own Pasco. There isn't a bland bite in that entire place. Try their sausage (either kind, but the jalapeño cheese is just amazing)...compare it to yours and adjust your recipe. For gods sake, buy better ribs and smoke them until they are tender enough to eat without a knife. read more

Saw an ad for this restaurant while I was at my nail salon. Literally txtd my hubby that I wanted to go there for bbq. Picked him up and drove from New port richey. The menu is plentiful. The food was AMAZING! I had the pulled pork platter with Mac n cheese, coleslaw, baked beans & corn bread. Hubby had 1/2 rack ribs with collards, garlic mashed potatoes & corn bread. The sandwich was great, packed with lean, juicy, very tasty brisket slices. We both had the Pulled Pork sandwich with Coleslaw. The Pork was good, but needed a bit of sauce to enhance it. Luckily there are 5 sauces, three of which I tried and were all excellent. As a bonus. The sandwich's bun was garlic buttered, which further enhanced the flavor. The Cole Slaw was something special. Not only did it taste freshly made (not like it was made last week in a factory), but it was served in a bowl consisting of half a leaf of fresh cabbage. Rather attractive in addition to being functional. The restaurant is new, clean and attractive, with both indoor and outdoor seating. It's lovely. If the meat had more smoke flavor, I'd give this place 5 stars. read more
