They told me I needed a new battery but I had replaced my battery less than a year ago. My total bill was almost $200 more than I expected to pay. I told them I had an appointment time and they said, "You can't schedule an appointment in Texas for a vehicle inspection - it's illegal." I asked where it said that on their website. They ignored the question and added, "It's a $500 fine." I finally left, went down the road and got the check done at a Kwik Kar in about 15 minutes. I looked in the Texas Administrative Code, Title 37, Chapter 23 and the word "appointment" does not appear anywhere. I should have gone back and asked them if they are taught to lie in training for their positions behind the desk or if they do it on their own. I WON'T BE BACK. DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE OF TRUSTING THESE LIARS TO SERVICE OR INSPECT YOUR CAR!

The following day after buying a new splash shield i jacked up the car and went to remove the damaged existing shield. Thats when I noticed the existing shield was missing attaching bolts and worse had been partly zip tied to the front air dam.. Final thought I had, who last serviced this car before our kiddo went off for her junior year at OU, Firestone in town. I never brought it up because I wasn't gonna ever go back there again. This was one of a succession of things that made me think. This was not a place I wanted to do business with any further. I make it a practice now to check every bit of work.That is done by anybody on our cars.Nobody is without error but this was clear negligence

Dropped my car off when I picked it up the bill was $996, and what they did instead of replacing the Catalytic Converter like I requested. they cut it in half and only changed half of the Catalytic Converter, then said "oh you need to get the back part installed soon it's going out.". They cut the Catalytic Converter in half only changed half if the Catalytic Converter now they are asking for $700 just for the missing half. I called Huffines Jeep and told them never to recommend Lorentz Automotive/Lewisville Muffler to anyone again. They are shocked that the Catalytic Converter got cut in half.
