There are 2 different types of tickets needed, ones for the rides and the others for the booths and food/drinks. There were a few rides and carnival games, and there were little to no lines at the time we went. The food and drink booths had nothing special or exciting to offer, so we ended up empty handed, and heading over to 7-11 for some slurpees since it was so hot and humid. Overall an ok experience but I don't think the 3 of us are too interested in returning next year.

There were food variety: American, Filipino, Italian and Mexican. For me, there were not enough vendors (merch/goods). There was one vendor to the left that sold unique items, a jewelry vendor and a photographer. Next to the photographer booth was a cake walk - which I've never heard of. Unless you were in the beer or wine garden, there was no shade. I can confidently say, I will not return.

COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This event currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was here several months ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their event UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty massive. When you enter the grounds, turn left. There you will be directed to pay for parking ($15 for regular cars - general parking, $30 for VIP parking, $23 for RVs and limos, and $38 for buses) and where to park. As mentioned by my excellent buddy, Justin, parking for handicapped individuals freaking suck. Whoever organized this event sucks. Handicapped parking is in lot 3, which is hella far away from the event. You would think it would be much closer to the event, but noooooo. Some idiot organized it to be like this. Why?!?! Please make the entrance closer to the handicapped parking lot in the future. That would make a lot of sense. They take cash and credit cards. Event: The festival offers immersive 14 - 17 century Elizabethan-era entertainment, jousting tournaments, artisanal shopping, and medieval food like turkey legs. The event itself was very fun and entertaining. I had a great time with my close friend. I highly encourage anyone who attends to dress up. If you don't, you will stick out like a very sore and ugly thumb. If you do dress up, costume weapons must be sheathed and peace tied. Also, wear comfy shoes. There is soooooo much walking. It's also hella dusty at this event, which is lowkey on point with ye - old England. To add on, when Justin and I attended this event in mid May, the weather was soooo on point because it was gloomy and overcast. This is exactly how I imagined old timey England during the renaissance. You can absolutely bring food and drinks into the event, but they cannot be picnic food, food that requires heating or refrigeration, alcohol, anything in glass containers, and coolers. You can bring water, but it cannot be opened yet. Or you can bring an empty reusable water bottle for it to be filled up at the event. There are plenty of bathrooms (porta potties and hand washing stations) at this event. Note: While at the event, we didn't see any refillable water bottle stations. Where were they hiding? Food: My bestie and I got the tri tip sandwich and french fries. Honestly, coming into this event, I already knew that the food was gonna be mid. Lmao I had low expectations for the food because I wasn't really there for the food. Plus, I guess this was also kinda lowkey on point with the renaissance era in England because food in that time period was also mid. Lol I was primarily there for the medieval vibes and jousting, which delivered in spades. I would honestly go every year just for the medieval vibes and jousting. Screw the food there. Anyways, the tri tip sandwich was overly priced with a meager amount of meat in the sandwich in a sad ass hot dog bun. It was more of a sad- wich. This is why I removed one star. Flavor wise, it was okay. My friend knows that I'm not the biggest fan of anything BBQ, but I'll eat it anyways. The fries that we got were plentiful for the price point and it was very crunchy. I was disappointed when it wasn't really salted, which made it taste bland TBH. I should also note that the tri tip sandwich and fries were cold by the time we sat down and ate them because we spent like 10 - 15 minutes walking around and finding a place to eat. Don't be like us. Eat your food while it's hot. Staff: The staff here are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum. Still, cash is king at this event. Many vendors only take cash, so bring at least $100 per person.

The dinosaur by the entrance was one of our favorites--my nephew loved it so much and was excited the whole time. One of the best parts was the stage and dress-up theater section. It was so engaging for the kids! They got to play, pretend, and really use their imagination. It was fun watching them interact, perform, and just be themselves. I also liked how social it was for children. Kids were playing together, sharing, and exploring as a group, which made the experience even better. It's not just fun, but also a great place for kids to build confidence and connect with others. Overall, such a fun and memorable day. Definitely a great spot for families with kids! Side not get camera ready! I took so many photos I only posted what I could for privacy reasons but such memorable experience!

We got here an hour after it started, so we had to park in the further parking lot which was an easy walk over. As we approached the open area, food trucks and vendors were all around the parking lot and checkin was easy. We got to chose from four different colors of mandala bags, which had our essentials inside to making our lanterns as well as some extra goodies. We grabbed some ice cream and then found a spot in the sun near the stage to enjoy the live entertainment before the lantern meditation kicked off. As the sun was setting we walked over to the lake and waited to let our lanterns float in the water. I added some sayings, drawings and in remembrance for family who passed away. It really was a magical night and I'm glad I was able to do this with my mom to celebrate an early Mother's Day. We let our lanterns go and walked over to the doc to get an overall view of everyone else's. We didn't end up staying till the end as it was getting chilly and there was still an hour left of setting the lanterns off. **I also want to say thank you Yelp for the giveaway tickets to this event, I would have never thought to check it out without discovering it here. Make sure your whole group is together before start time so you all play at the same time and no one misses out. Our group was a bunch of 5/6/7 year olds and the group they played against was 10-12 year olds so I felt like that was a little unfair but no one got seriously hurt so that's all you can ask for. My least favorite part was the arcade. Some of the games weren't working so that's a bust. Our kids were too young to use the VR game so it would have been nice if they got to ride the bumper cars twice instead of just losing out on that. On top of that there was only one person staffing the VR game, the mini bowling and the bumper cars so it was like 10-15 minutes between each option and there were only maybe 8 bumper cars so when there's a line the kids had to wait about 20 minutes just to ride the bumper cars. There were lines for the bumper cars and the VR so no one used the bowling because there wasn't enough staff. The pizza was fine, I believe you can order other stuff outside the party pizza if you want.

All of the acts are great and the clowns are funny and they go into the audience. They don't have a bad seat in the house. And again, the prices are so far and they always have specials. Just go to their website and sign up for emails when they are in your area, which could be anywhere. The place is so cute with great popcorn, face painting and toys. It is everything a kid could want.

There charge $4 per ticket that can be used for food and/or beverages. There was a children area: art and craft, bouncers, face painting, story book reading area, variety entertainment, arcade free interactive video games. Children received free popcorn, snow cone, cotton candy, balloons and light stick. All of this was sponsored by North Hills Church. There were 2 live band stage show. There were plenty of food booth, vendor and bar. The exhibitions at the Brea Art Gallery was free. The display of arts were very nice and unique. We also got a chance to see live theater piano performances at the Curtis Theater. It was beautifully played. Overall, we enjoyed our walkthrough the Brea Fest Event.

A favorite was a chocolate Nothing Bundt Cake. There were all kinds of food, many choices with something for everyone. Sandwiches, pizza, pasta, ice cream, cake, fish, smoothies, soda and water, beer and wine, A wristband for alcohol was $2, plus the drinks. Presale tickets were 7 for $20, $4 each at the event. I had too many tickets, and I had to use them all that night, so I ate more than I usually do. There were 3 entertainment stages. We sat at a table by the Jimmy's Buffet tribute band. They did 3 sets. Music was fun. Didn't sound like Jimmy, but it was fun to watch. The band was from San Diego and they decorated the stage. We had a fun time.
