It's good pizza. Probably the second best pizza in the area. The service is good and the wait time for pick up is good.

The bread is kind of like an oversized bagel with Italian seasoning and it does not disappoint. Our server (Andie) was exceptional. She helped my wife with Gluten Free menu options and gave us all honest feedback on the menu. I was torn between a veal dish and shrimp risotto and Andie shared that the risotto is one of her favorite things on the menu, second only to the carbonara (which is what my wife got). We both loved our meals! The meal was delicious, prices were fair, atmosphere was wonderful and Andie exceeded all expectations as our server.

Our waitress gave us some introduction on certain items but failed to mention that it's a Martini day! I asked about it so she told me two martinis on the menu were Thursday special. We each ordered a martini but they ran out of martini glasses so they were served on regular glasses. The lemon drop martini was very good though. We ordered calamari for appetizer, pesto pasta and chicken piccata for dinner. We were asked if we wanted to have bread.I supposed it's not an automatic offer? The bread looked like a bagel and it was very dense inside. It seems like the dough didn't rise the right way before baking. It wasn't that great with the dipping sauce - olive oil, very light balsamic and Parmesan mix. The pesto pasta was very oily and tastes more like sun-dried tomatoes than pesto. The chicken piccata was decent. The calamari was tender and flavorful. When the waitress brought our food to the table, I accidentally dropped my fork. The waitress just walked away without offering me a clean one.

It's a small place and we thought we'd have to wait but luckily a couple were leaving so we got seats at the bar. It would have been worth the wait. We picked a couple drinks off the menu and they were incredibly beautiful and tasted divine. The pizza we ordered had anchovies and pepperoni and I swear it's the best wood fired pizza I've ever had. I wanted another drink and asked the bartender to make me a rum drink of their choice. Within minutes some amazing concoction, it was smoking inside a glass dome of some sort. The garnish was a flamed cinnamon stick and orange rind that looked like a sword. It was incredible. The vibe is nice and patrons are friendly. It's not loud, so you can carry on a conversation, and the music was nice. There is a cute little back room with tables too for groups of 2-4 people. Parking is plentiful on the street and nearby parking lots. Within walking distance of other bars and restaurants. Up and coming area. I can't recommend the Oak & Olive enough and I can't wait to go back.

There's a secret entrance since it's a speakeasy, which is fun. Someone is always there to help guide you if you can't figure it out, haha. The lighting is low, and there are a lot of comfy spots to sit, which makes the environment feel very calm and cozy. We ended up all ordering a variety of espresso martinis. Mine was a crème brûlée one, which was divine, but they all sounded delicious! We also ordered the fig & pear pizza to share. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the flavors worked really well together! I'm hoping I can come here with my husband soon.

The food brought back that nostalgic taste of home-cooked Southern Italian cooking the kind of authentic flavors that are comforting, familiar, and incredibly satisfying. And the meatballs were absolutely amazing! I am a very hard critic to please when it comes to Italian food, and these definitely impressed me! The restaurant was clean, the service was wonderful, and the prices were extremely reasonable for the quality and portions. There's also a special connection for me: my sister worked for Parisson's at another location over 40 years ago, and it was so wonderful to see that the food and tradition have continued and, if anything, only gotten better! From start to finish, it was a fantastic experience. Don't change a thing, Parisson's! Keep doing exactly what you're doing and preserving those wonderful Italian flavors and traditions. We will absolutely be back!

This location has picturesque decor throughout: from the entryway to the dining area. (Check out the pictures of the decor)! There is statue in full armor before entering the dining area... so cool! Make sure to check out the plastic table display holders for limited time only specials and new items. The menu features: salads (house and antipasto), subs: meatball, sausage, and Italian, pasta: lasagna, penne, and spaghetti, pizzas, and you can't forget their cannoli! During this visit, I tried the half & half combo which has a half order of Parassons special meatball and half order of their sausage patties topped with pasta sausage and cheeses! I also added a side salad (iceberg lettuce, tomato's, cucumbers, and cheese with buttermilk ranch dressing ) I had the red onions removed from the side salad. You won't go home hungry! The service is always friendly and hospitable, willing to sing happy birthday (if you want them to). This place brings back lots of childhood memories!

The pizza was also very good. If you like a slightly doughy bite, you'll love it--the crust had the perfect balance of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Our server was attentive, friendly, and honest about portion sizes, which I really appreciated. I wish I had taken a picture of our food, but that just gives me an excuse to come back--and I definitely will! Looking forward to trying more dishes next time. The place was very quaint, casual and laid back atmosphere....you may want to bring a sweater.

It was pretty basic. Two peperoncini peppers and a radish adorned the top. There were four sticks of salami, no pepperoni or ham and the salad was covered with cheese. The salad dressing was on the light side and you could barely taste it, recommend you ask for it on the side. I ordered the sausage and meatball splash and my spouse had the rigatoni. Both entrées were just ok. The bread was great and served warm. Our waitress was attentive w/o being a bother. They finally accept credit cards albeit with a surcharge. I've had better meals in the past at Luigis.
