Under a tent at the Brewery...
    Melissa B.

My husband and I went to Nantucket for a long weekend and stayed with a friend of ours. He had told us how much fun Cisco Brewery was, and that they have great bands...so we Ubered up there on a Saturday. We got there fairly early but the first band had already started, and the area under the tent was already full. We got some drinks, checked out the space and eventually we were able to snag some chairs under the tent. The outside beer area had alcohol drinks as well. 2 of us had tequila drinks, and 2 tried the beers. We were all really happy with our choices. All of the food there came from food trucks, and there were a lot of random vendors, which made it a fun, unique experience! All of our food and drinks were great. I also bought a few hats- the hat selection was really good from the band and the brewery. They also had a shop along with the other vendors who were set up. We stayed longer than expected- the first band (Grateful Dead cover band) was amazing, so we stayed to check out the second band (who were really good also). We eventually gave up our seats under the tent to some very happy people! We will definitely go back to the Cisco brewery the next time we're in Nantucket- it was a great experience all around! Everyone we encountered- whether they worked there, or weee there for fun were very nice and friendly. There was a dance area in front of the stage and people definitely used it - so there was great people watching in a super fun setting!

We did a day trip from Chatham to Nantucket during our honeymoon and had a great time. The beer, cocktails and ambiance was fantastic. Had we not just eaten lunch in town we would have tried one of the food trucks. I had the blueberry cocktail which was very refreshing on a hot day. The grey lady beer was recommended by a friend and it was great. We are from CLT, NC so when we saw the hurricane relief beer on the menu it made us very happy to see other breweries supporting the ones that were destroyed in the storm. Giving a 4/5 because the seats at the tables were very difficult and kept getting in the way of everything. They should just have benches

The best spot to day drink on the island. The set up is perfect with various bars to grab drinks so lines never get long. They always have live music going and the food trucks are top notch. We love to get the oysters and shrimp every time because how can you not when on the island? A must stop every trip.

What a blast! We came for the afternoon and enjoyed various cocktails, beers and wine based drinks. We then went on the tour and had a great time hearing about the area, property, and history behind the drinks. They have local food trucks on site for the munches. Overall great experience and can't wait to come back!

This place is such a cute vibe in Nantucket. Live music and $5 pizzas on Friday. They have so many tap options as well as cocktails and seltzers options. They even have this great gift shop for tourists like myself with beer/wine/vodka to take home and so many great clothing as well.

Heard all the hype from locals so had to check it out. Came on a Saturday at 11 am and the place was already packed. We barely got a seat despite being one of the first people in. I wanted to do a flight to sample a lot of beers but unfortunately, they do not do flights on the weekend. I sampled three beers and they were all super average. I am happy I visited, but not sure if I'd be inclined to go again.

The lobster roll and fish and chips were amazing!!! The service was fast and the selection of beer, wine and distilled spirits was expansive. The ambiance of live music, open air and merch was just wonderful!!! Ohhhh and best part is they have a personal shuttle right from Main Street downtown!!

This brewery is wonderful! Always a joyous vibe here and very island feel. the food trucks and live music are as wonderful as the brews. We sampled the infused vodkas and enjoyed the blueberry and vanilla made with vanilla bean the most. Whale Tail Pale Ale was one of my favs so tried! These selection of seafood, beverages, and cute clothing items felt quite endless. I loved all the entertainment too. zit felt like an adult playground and it was refreshing that kids are allowed as well. 167 seafood was wonderful. We befriended Jack who helped us pick out fresh seafood and learn about clams oysters and shrimp selections. Would definitely recommend this experience for those visiting its a must.

Cisco is the best! Best beers, best Frozen Rose/Painkiller and amazing cocktails. It's brewery, winery, distillery all in one so you are sure to find something you'll love! They also have food trucks there that make amazing food going rom Raw seafood to quesadillas and lobster rolls! Cisco is best place to go on a Saturday afternoon when visiting nantucket! Live music, games and it's also Dog friendly

Make it a special point to come here when visiting Nantucket. You find yourself sipping one of their many varieties of beer, taking in the live music and sampling items from one of the visiting food trucks (dumplings are great!) -- and thinking -- this is what beach life should be (oddly not on the beach though). With a few beers in you, you might even squint and imagine Jimmy Buffet on stage. If you're so inclined, you can even bring home a large growler of the local beer to make your friends jealous. Protip: there is a helpful shuttle there from town center. Yes, people of my ilk sway there and not dance. Wish there were more dancers but head there and you'll get it. I would avoid the "cocktail" tour unless you are diehard Cisco. Tequila is surprisingly decent but Cisco, Notch or whatever you want to call them should probably stay in their lane. Let me know if you agree.

This place is overly crowded and needs to have more seating. We stopped in on a Tuesday at 1pm. I ordered a flight of beer and there was no where to sit and drink it. I can't imagine how busy it is on a weekend. The beer was good. I liked the fruity and sour flavors. $12 for 4 in the flight. Staff was friendly. Porta potties in the back.

Finally got to Cisco on an August Wednesday afternoon. CROWDED! Great vibe. Pocomo Pilsner was great. Pineapple vanilla vodka cocktail yucky. Stick with their nice beers. Fantastic food trucks. We ordered tuna poke and halibut taco from Millie's. Both amazing. We biked in. What an institution of Nantucket! Family and dog friendly. But too much merch! But hey, they are raking it in!

They have a free shuttle that picks up at the corner of chestnut and federal on weekends. The driver is a very nice older guy. Check their website for hours. (The panel van is on chestnut itself next to the Nantucket information bureau, which also has bathrooms on the backside of it.) When you get there, they card you and wristband you. The taproom is two lefts after getting through the entrance. Lots of lagers and ipas, which makes sense since they're probably most busy in the summer. The left 8 are their classics, and the right 8 are seasonal/experimental. I flighted all 16 over the course of 4 flightboards. It's about $4/taster, which is NYC taproom prices. Beer was just okay, but if you're here with a ton of friends and there for some live music, who cares I suppose. Their classic beers are easy to find around the island, so coming here to get some isn't a must IMHO. They have 3-4 food trucks that have various food. I tried some veggie dumplings, but was unfortunately underwhelmed and decided to save my stomach for dinner. Shaker-style Pint glasses are $12 and stickers are $3 from the gift shop. Kinda steep, but its Nantucket and they know their typical audience wont blink. Overall, the ambiance is fine, BYOFriends, and know that the beer doesn't hold a candle to the NYC scene.

It was the perfect kind of day, not too hot and not too cold which was nice. The last stop was the Brewery, which was the perfect spot to enjoy lunch and relax. Absolutely recommend this fun excursion, and Cole was amazing! I saw the old tour buses driving around, and it really didn't interests to sit on a bus and ride around. We decided in Nantucket bike tours due to the phenomenal reviews. We were not disappointed. We had Marcus as a tour guide, and it was readily apparent how much he loves history, and how excited hew as to share his wealth of knowledge. We booked the to the brewery tour, which lasted couple of hours and ended at the Cisco Brewery where there is a free shuttle back to town. The ride was listed as moderate, but coming from someone who hasn't ridden a bicycle in 10 years, I found it extremely easy. It's very slow paced, my advice is to ride towards the front so you can engage the tour guide in conversation. Plenty of stops with shade and water refills. You will not be disappointed with this tour. Bonus is no cover charge once you get to the brewery!

The crostini and the gazpacho were also very tasty. As for my main, the eggplant pasta, I couldn't recommend it enough. Plus, there was plenty to take home for later!!! The restaurant is a bit loud in the evening because the bar is quite lively. They boast good drinks and good music! A dinner at say, 6pm, would be more calm if that is your vibe. The Buffalo fried fish app the waitress recommended wasn't my favorite and doesn't seem to be a dish that should be on the menu. It def felt like TGIFridays met Nantucket but not in a good way. Literally a deep fried block of fish smothered in buffalo sauce served on like a whipped blue cheese spread. Honestly, I think it was trying to elevate Buffalo when Buffalo can't be elevated. The fish entree I had was fine. Nothing out of this world. Actually quite unmemorable. Overall, $90 for 2 dishes that were fine, the app being even on a don't order suggestion, is a little jarring. Service and ambiance was great. I love the comp bread and little dip amuse bouche. Overall, fine. I think I ordered wrong, but I do think there are some better value and more exciting food happening at other places.
