This was the highlight of our trip to Nantucket. We did the "Bike to the Brewery" tour with Cole. He was a great guide, giving us lots of historical knowledge about the sites we went to. It was the perfect kind of day, not too hot and not too cold which was nice. We went to Brant Lighthouse for pictures, Steppes beach, the windmill, the oldest house, and through downtown Nantucket Town. The last stop was the Brewery, which was the perfect spot to enjoy lunch and relax. Absolutely recommend this fun excursion, and Cole was amazing! He just graduated from college, so 2017 might be his last summer working for this company, but if you can ride with Cole, it's a real treat. read more

My wife and I traveled to Nantucket for our honeymoon, and since neither of us had been here before, we really wanted to explore the island. I saw the old tour buses driving around, and it really didn't interests to sit on a bus and ride around. We decided in Nantucket bike tours due to the phenomenal reviews. We were not disappointed. We had Marcus as a tour guide, and it was readily apparent how much he loves history, and how excited hew as to share his wealth of knowledge. We booked the to the brewery tour, which lasted couple of hours and ended at the Cisco Brewery where there is a free shuttle back to town. The ride was listed as moderate, but coming from someone who hasn't ridden a bicycle in 10 years, I found it extremely easy. It's very slow paced, my advice is to ride towards the front so you can engage the tour guide in conversation. Plenty of stops with shade and water refills. You will not be disappointed with this tour. Bonus is no cover charge once you get to the brewery! read more

Was spending six days at the Cape with my family, and I wanted to take my girlfriend to one of the islands because it was the first vacation that she'd ever been to the Cape. Went to Nantucket on Thursday, August 9 -- we booked our bike tour the night of Wednesday, August 8 with no issue. We signed up for the Brewery Tour for 2:00pm, and got to the NBT around 1:45pm. We gave our names, and Jason, the owner, introduced himself and recognized our names from the booking and thanked us for joining even at the last minute. Carl and Riley were our tour guides, with Jason joining at various spots the way. We rode at a leisurely but consistent pace, stopping at some great locations along the way, including multiple beaches, a lighthouse, and historical spots on the island. Interactivity with the entire group (roughly 12 to 15) from those two were great, and they got everyone involved. Good knowledge of the points around the island as well. After finishing up at the brewery (which is another great experience in itself), Riley was finished with his shift for the day and joined a few of us for a drink, along with another guide Courtney. They gave us the number for a cab, and after a few drinks we headed back toward the docks. Overall Jason, Carl, and Riley (and Courtney afterword!) were knowledgeable and friendly, and really sold the experience of being on the island and getting some exercise along the way. We toured with Courtney a few weeks ago and she was quite nice and provided some good history of the island as we biked around. The issue we had is that no response or solution was offered to our below email to them. "I reserved a 10:30 am tour for two yesterday that was rescheduled due to not meeting the minimum number of attendees. Courtney did a great job, but I have to say we were very disappointed with the tour duration and cost. I paid nearly $140 dollars for a two hour tour, but we received about five minutes shy of an hour. When Courtney phoned and left a voicemail, she stated we would receive the same tour as we had scheduled with the addition of Cisco Brewery. Had we been told that, in fact, our tour time would be half of what I paid for, I would have just cancelled. I respectfully request half of our cost returned given that is all we were provided, though told otherwise." read more

I've been meaning to write this review for a while. Wow! Nantucket Bike Tours is the best way to explore the island. From booking my tour to the actual tour, the customer service can't be beat. Everyone was helpful and friendly. I did the tour to the brewery. Joey was my tour guide with two other people and he was very knowledgeable. The pace of the tour was perfect and we saw a lot. Taking the Nantucket Bike Tour was the best experience we had on the island. Our group was small, 4 people, and our guide, Riley, was amazing. Phenomenal, by FAR the best activity in Nantucket! We went on small group tour with Ryan, one of the guides, one afternoon during our trip to Nantucket. The day started out beautiful, but by the time we started the tour Nantucket's notorious fog had rolled in, and it was really thick. We started on the route towards Sconset and we were so blown away by Ryan's knowledge, friendliness and upbeat attitude, we barely noticed that we weren't able to see many of the sights (thanks a lot, fog). The bikes themselves were well maintained, we were able to set our own pace, and Ryan expertly guided us through traffic when necessary during the tour. As it turned out, we learned that the outer areas of Nantucket are absolutely breathtaking, fog or not. We are so happy we decided to go on the bike tour, and we're very thankful to Ryan for his skill and his kindness. We will absolutely be recommending Nantucket Bike Tours to all of our friends and family, and we can't wait to go on another tour next time we're on the island. What a fun way to spend the morning! My friends and I had visited Nantucket many times and we wanted to host a little bike tour event with friends to help promote our businesses. My sister and I had a great time riding around the island with Jason and would recommend Nantucket Bike Tours to anyone. He's extremely knowledgeable, friendly, open to any crazy question you may have, and took great photos. The biking itself is super easy and we felt safe the entire time. Fortunately, the island is really flat and the two or three "hills" were tiny and not nearly as challenging as we were bracing for. You definitely don't have to be a Lance Armstrong wannabe to enjoy this trip. We decided to do the Cisco tour as their beer is a favorite and were glad we did. Not only do you get to learn about and taste beer that's hard to find on the mainland, but the casual ambiance found on their back lawn was the perfect end to an afternoon of biking. I might recommend bringing a sweatshirt as the island does does get cold after the sun goes down. Highly recommend Jason, Courtney and the entire Nantucket Bike Tours team. This was so fun!! My father, my friend Greg and I were looking for a fun way to see more of Nantucket while we were visiting last week and loved the bike tour. We opted for the 'To the Brewery' tour and were led by Ryan. The route was quite easy to navigate and bike together as a group once we were out of town. Ryan did a great job pointing out great spots along the island and giving us a bit of history all along the way. The pace was very comfortable and we made frequent stops along the way. I was also impressed with how Ryan got to know all of us and made the tour so personal. It didn't feel scripted or canned at all. My Dad loved Steps Beach so much he brought my Mom there a few days later. What a great way to see new parts of the island! This particular tour ends at Cisco Brewery, my favorite spot on the island, at which point we were able to hand our bikes over and enjoy the brewery. I would recommend the tours to visitors of any age and cycling skill. They do a great job of customizing the tour so everyone is happy and comfortable. Best way to see Nantucket! I went on the Brewery tour to celebrate my birthday with a friend, and we had an amazing time! Courtney was such a great tour guide...she knew so much about the island and was so friendly! She offered to take pictures for us and made sure we were always at a pace that was comfortable for us (which was great because we haven't been on bikes in years!). I just got back from a "mini-honeymoon" with my wife to Nantucket. This was the first thing that we did when we got to the island. Jason was friendly, knowledgeable, and tailored the tour to our liking. Since we were the only ones on it (off-season), we were able to see and learn a lot about Nantucket. I would say that this is probably one of the most worthwhile things that one can do when visiting Nantucket. Even if it isn't your first time on the rock, it's still a great experience. Best of all, Jason took us up to the brewery at the end of the tour and had someone drive us back. We had such a great time and would totally hang out with Jason if he were closer. I highly recommend seeing Nantucket by bike, specifically through Nantucket Bike Tours! My mother and I were on island for one day and it was a first visit for both of us. The owner and guide, Jason, was so accommodating and was great fun to hang out with for the day. We opted for the tour to the Cisco brewery and it was perfect for us. The level of difficulty was perfect for us and Jason taught us so much about the history of the island and the neighborhoods as we pedaled along. He was so patient with us as I like to stop a lot for photos. Ending at the brewery was such a treat and to top it off, Jason took a few extra minutes with us to take us to the shore for some amazing sunset photos before we headed back to the ferry. My husband and I went to Nantucket for the first time and heard that one thing we must do while on the island is a bike tour. After a quick google search, I came across Nantucket Bike Tours and booked the Cisco Brewery bike tour. To my surprise, my husband and I were lucky enough to have a private tour led by Jason. Jason was extremely professional, patient (little did I know I quickly forgot how to ride a bike after 10+ years without riding), knowledgeable. and a lot of fun to hang out with!
