She'll give you a long list of things you cannot do, like wake the cats up, scratch their belly or hold a cat wand toy too high. they have fewer rules at Disneyland. You know your perception of weird cat lady? She's that! Honestly if I found a cat I wanted to adopt I'd think twice before wanting to deal with her as a liaison for the rescues. She's totally off putting. Once you're in the "lounge" she'll eagle eye you by coming in and sitting at a table and watch you interact with the cats, even though there is a huge glass window and she can see everything from her front desk. She also found an original ticket from our local theatre for the Twilight movie in one of the books,we let the two men know it was inside and one said he only threw away trash inside but only left treasures for the new book owner to find. This store is just that, a treasure in our town of Albany. Thank you gentleman for making us feel welcomed and ask for our suggestions, we can't wait to come back and see what new treasures can be found. Cherry on top, they let you know if you want to haggle the book prices that they were willing to haggle. They were also so kind to give us a discount for buying so much.
