Great spot as usual. I'm from California but I hit this spot up every few years when I come out. The inter space isn't much but when the exterior patio is open with nice weather....much more spacious. Staff and service is great. Food is awesome as well. I wish they would have a little bit more of a selection, but the portions of the food are great as well.

Celebrating my birthday here with a friend (I'd never been here but she eats all the time), we had great food, with friendly & pleasant service, in a charming little cafe. My Greek Wrap & Jasmine Green Tea were delicious! My friend had the Havarti Turkey Apple Sandwich with sweet potato fries and she said it was super tasty. Lola's has a full bar & happy hour, Grab 'n Go food for those in a hurry, coffee bar and a gift shop. Oh yes, they serve breakfast all day! Their menu is quite extensive and for this first-timer, it was challenging to decide what to order since so many things looked and sounded awesome. Even the list of coffee drinks was long! I ordered my Greek Wrap with falafel and the wrap was stuffed with romaine lettuce, feta cheese, red onion, tomato, kalamata olives, pepperoncini, drizzled with a Greek vinaigrette all wrapped up in a spinach tortilla. The Havarti Turkey Apple Sandwich Sliced was made with roasted turkey breast, havarti, bacon onion jam, arugula, apple slices, pesto mayo, and was served warm on toasted ciabatta. The sweet potato fries were perfectly done. When the server discovered that I was celebrating a birthday, she returned with a berry scone that had a lit candle poked in the center. Maybe a bit unusual as a "birthday cake" but I can tell you it was perfect in every way. I'd definitely go back here in a heartbeat!

The drinks were the star of the show. The carrot ginger margarita was amazing and their normal margarita was great too. I love the hash because you can add whatever protein you'd like (extra charge) while getting a balanced breakfast. In the summer their patio is amazing because inside can be a bit loud. Cafe style service where you order drinks at the bar and then take a seat.

The food is always amazing, presented amazingly, and the coffee is warm-your-soul good. I love that they serve breakfast all day, and that their menu is so inclusive of all day parts (morning, afternoon, and even dinner!). The servers are always friendly and are starting to recognize me because of how often I come here lol. My food comes out quicker than I realize. The ambiance is also one of the reasons I keep coming back. I love the cozy booth seating, and the high top bar that has outlets. They also have a "grab and go" section that's awesome if you're just looking to get something on the way to work. They have free wifi, which means I could sit here all day and work on homework. I love love love this place and hope it never shuts down!!

This is our go to for brunch. The food is always incredible, the coffee is tasty, their tea selection is wonderful, and the prices are pretty good. Granted the service can be hit or miss but it is typically pretty good. Of course, the patio makes up for any delay in service and provides a lovely place to sit and just relax on a beautiful weekend morning

I love the vibe of this place! A bit expensive but overall worth is and the food is great. I ordered the avocado toast and an iced matcha, both were so yum!

I've always loved a good surprise, especially when it involves food. My friend, a self-proclaimed foodie, recently took me on a blind restaurant date. As we drove, I was kept in the dark, quite literally, as she refused to let me see the GPS. The mystery only added to the excitement. When we pulled up to Lola's, I remembered I had been here before, but the restaurant had recently undergone a bit of a transformation. The cozy ambiance remained, but the dining experience had elevated to full-service. My friend decided to order the Nourish Bowl and told me that she enjoyed all of the bowls. Intrigued, I opted for the hearty Roasted Hash Breakfast Bowl. To complement the meal, I ordered the visually stunning Blue Butterfly Pea tea latte. The tea was as delicate, offering a calming and refreshing taste. The Roasted Hash Breakfast Bowl was a delightful surprise. The creamy aji verde sauce elevated the dish, adding a burst of flavor to every bite. The healthy and satisfying meal left me feeling energized and content. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. My husband's motto is he'll try anything twice. I need to adopt this as well, because it certainly ended up paying off in this case!

I really wanted to like Lola Café Bar because the food was actually quite good (except side salad being so wilted) but the service from our waitress completely ruined the experience for my friend and me. She never introduced herself, barely checked on us, and had an attitude from the moment we politely asked to change an iced coffee to hot and switch falafel balls to chicken--changes we made just a few minutes after placing the order. Throughout the meal, she ignored us, and when we were ready to leave, we waited over 40 minutes just to get a box and our check. She was focused on a larger party that arrived after we were nearly done and made it clear she couldn't care less about us. At one point, we were even given a cup with a visible lipstick stain on it--completely unacceptable. Eventually, I had to flag down a different server--a male waiter--who was actually kind, asked us how our day was going, and finally brought us the box and check. He made a genuine effort to help, which we appreciated, but by then the damage had been done. As someone who's worked in the service industry, it takes a lot for me not to leave a tip, but in this case, I couldn't justify it. A tip is earned, not owed. Sadly, we won't be coming back. This place has a nice menu, lots of different options. Cool bar seating inside but we loved the patio to enjoy a nice sunny afternoon. We had smoothies, a sandwich with fries and a delicious cocktail. Service was friendly but very slow, totally fine as long as you're not on a tight schedule.

Parking was a little tricky - there were street parking on the side and a city parking lot across the street. Checking in was easy with our reservation. The hostesses were efficient but not overly friendly (not in a bad way) The deck was absolutely awesome with a stunning view of the lake. They also had fire pits and different seating options inside and outside. Our waitress was lovely and attentive and made sure our group were taken care of with yummy drinks and food, and singing for the birthday girl. The drinks were delicious including my mocktail. The girls in my group really enjoyed the margaritas. The Happy Hour menu had many filling options from fries, clams, salads, crab cakes, chicken sandwiches to steak skewers. We for a couple things to share which worked out great. The fries were fresh and crispy and all the food were flavorful and cooked well. They seemed to be very family (and dog) friendly even if the whole restaurant felt more upscale. This place would be perfect for dates, catch ups, and even family brunches. I look forward to coming back to try other things next time!

I finally saw a city parking lot. I didn't even look at the menu; I just wanted to sit by the water to eat. I decided to make a reservation to ensure I got a seat. They only had two time slots, 4:30 and 7:30. I opted for the earlier time. We arrived at the restaurant, and there were others there without a reservation who were trying to get outdoor seating. Unfortunately for them, they could not get outdoor seating. We were seated outside, and the view was gorgeous. I was torn between a few things on the menu. I decided on the beet and burrata salad with a side of steak. I was really hoping for a fried Brussels appetizer. The server told me I could order a side as an appetizer, so I did. I was hoping that my friend would help me eat them, but she didn't. We both had the house-made ginger ale. The Brussels were brought out, and they were not quite what I expected. They were halved and sauteed. I was thinking fried. The server must have heard me saying this because she came over and told me she could have them fried. I thought the leaves would have been cut and then fried, but they just fried them halved. The salad was good, but it was way too much for me to eat. The ginger ale was also good. We enjoyed our peaceful dinner on the lake, and if we are in the area again, we will be back.

The bartender (a more mature fellow) was casually talking to someone, not serving him - standing in the restaurant talking. No one acknowledged we were there - or they would come back in a min. There were obviously plenty of people working a gal was putting candles on tables etc - we waited TEN mins to even have someone come over and give us a menu. The bartender seemed irritated at my question of did they have a pinot gris in the happy hour menu. "no, only chardonnay". And, when I asked for a taste - also seemed to irritate him. The food is great here - that is without question, which is why we went. And, it didn't disappoint. However - receiving the bill - there is a weird ADDED $1.25 for a "Hosting Fee"... Hosting Fee??? what the heck is thattttt. (if you google it will tell you that it's for 'helping the employees' basically) What? Then, I had gotten a regular non-premium martini. It says in menu Well Drinks are $8. A regular martini is just their well vodka and should be that. The charge for the martini was $12.00! Never going back - the service was lously. They are padding their prices and I can get much better treatment (and pours) at Five Spice or Tucci!
