[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cute little place and love the variety of the crepes![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the Apple Tree and it was so good, Apple, honey, goat cheese and prosciutto! It was so good. I am so glad we tried and would definitely go back.

This little spot is like something out of a movie. The food is delicious and made with love, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the decor is beautiful[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and the friendly people who work there are so kind! The icing on the cake are the local artists who have their beautiful pieces for sale in this picture perfect gem! Stop by for a coffee, a delicious locally sourced smoked salmon crepe or fabulous chocolate croissant!!

This little French bistro was a delightful find. We were looking for crepes and we found them here. Not all their choices were sweet which was a very nice change. Coffee and Chai, also not too sweet, were delicious with their selection of pastries. The service was young, pretty, friendly and helpful. Food came out quicker than expected. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Just enough time to enjoy the coffee, atmosphere and books of poetry in the window sill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

A super lovely coffee and crepe spot! I love the calm interior. Not much seatings so be sure to come early. Their crepe selection was incredible. I went with the Fumé which was a smoked salmon and cream cheese crepe. Every crepe is made to order so there was a bit of a wait but it's worth it! My crepe was full of tasty smoked salmon and delectable cream cheese. Some of the better crepes I've had in awhile.

This is about half of the baked egg dish, could not help myself, should have taken the picture first

I almost hate to say this, as they are already busy as all get out, which causes delay time. But trust me when I say, they are worth every darn minute that you spend waiting to enjoy what they make. I treated myself to their baked eggs? Something I had no Idea existed, I have since looked up some recipes, and will be doing this at home ....My wife had the Sausage with Fennel Crepe, and it was very good also. Some folks were in a hurry and did not have the time to wait for service. Frankly if you have the time to try this, do it!

    Veggie Quiche with Fruit

We love going to this French cafe every time we go to the beach. It's conveniently located; about 3 minutes away from our condo. My husband went the day before this visit and bought some pastries to enjoy at our condo. My favorite was the pear tart. Today we came for breakfast. I ordered the veggie quiche and my husband had the shrimp crepe. Both were very delicious. I loved the presentation with the sliced fruit too. My only disappointment this time was receiving a hot chocolate instead of the mocha I ordered. I thought my drink tasted too chocolaty, but figured she put the whole amount of chocolate in, not less like I requested. When we finished, we checked out at the counter. She had the tablet facing her, so I asked if she could turn it around so I could see the charges. She seemed annoyed at my request, but complied. It turns out I was charged for hot cocoa! I told her I thought it tasted like hot cocoa, I ordered a mocha. She responded in an abrupt tone: "You said hot chocolate!" I reminded her that when I ordered I asked what kind of chocolate they use in the mochas and if she could use a little less. She again said: "You ordered hot chocolate!" My husband even heard me order a mocha. She obviously misheard. Later that day, I looked at the emailed receipt & there was a $1 charge for alternative milk. I wish I had noticed that at the restaurant, but I was more focused on what drink I was charged for. I called to question the charge since neither of us requested alternative milk. She said it was for the nonfat milk in my hot cocoa. I told her I've never heard of nonfat milk being considered alternative milk. She said anything other than whole milk is alternative and it's listed on the menu under alternative milks. I looked online and it specifically says oat milk, soy, etc is alternative. So there must be a different menu in house. Overall, we enjoyed our breakfast and the pear crepe I ordered to go was delicious, even reheated.

Adorable little cafe with scrumptious food! The hubs, daughter and I split a savory and two different sweet crepes--all were out of this world! The fresh fruit was incredible, and the coffee hot. Staff were living examples of Oregon-Coast friendliness, and the space is just the cutest! Wonderful little spot.

Their lattes are soooo good! Great coffee.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I love this place, it's so charming and quaint.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I come here every time we're here at the coast. Their lattes are the best, the almond croissants are so delicious, and their crepes are always delectable . [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would of given it 5 stars but there is one little change they made in their cafe that I didn't like, they are selling used/vintage clothing and shoes ( that look as If they should be tossed). It totally takes away from the appearance and ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I recommend that they get rid of the "rummage " sale. The staff were gracious and super polite to everyone that entered. What a pleasure and treasure of a place!

A comfy space, tasty bites, beautifully crafted baked goods, and a coffee bar with fun seasonal drinks. I ordered the breakfast purr-ito. I could have picked any other item on their menu and been perfectly happy, because it truly seems like The Red Roof does everything well. This dish came packed with turkey sausage, egg, potatoes, avocado and hashbrowns. Filling, hardy, and delicious. To make the experience even better, I ordered a number of baked goodies and a latte to go. These pastry items funded my happiness all afternoon. From lemon bars to blueberry scones, my excitement continued as I got to sample additional items from their delicious menu. I couldn't imagine passing Lincoln City, Oregon without returning to this local gem.

Their pastries look amazing but we did not opt for them this time. The biscuits and gravy are interesting since the gravy comes out with such an orangish color. The flavor was good but I wondered if the sausage was chorizo. My husband had a yogurt parfait with lemon and berries and even though we were dining in, it oddly came in like a to go style cup? The cup made it hard to get bites of everything to get the full flavor profile. My husband said the coffee is some of the best coffee he's had, I had a chai spiced latte and it was nice. I think next time I'll opt for the drip coffee. All in all, I recommend and will come back!

Sadly, today will be our last visit! We began the day very much looking forward to celebrating my mom with a drive (from Salem) to Depoe Bay to dine at Tidal Raves. The experience was tainted from the moment we entered the restaurant. The service and the staff's careless attitude are certainly not welcoming! Starting with the first face you see upon entering, the young man is rude and arrogant, giving off a very negative, devil-may-care, "unhappy to be here" vibe. He was especially obnoxious and rude to my 89-year-old mother, whose birthday we were sharing today. He behaved this way with every patron! There is one server who is always pleasant and attentive (the man with tattoos); unfortunately, he was not our server today. A large brunette woman, who was abrupt and offered no appropriate response to our questions or comments, was our server. Out of the 4 of us, 3 ordered a cup of salmon chowder along with full entrees; for some reason, she delivered 2 cups and 1 bowl, never returning to check in. A young man delivered our food without a word. The food was fine- nothing special, but the heavy sauces and potatoes served with the steak overwhelmed the other tastes. Our experience was marred by the lacklustre staff, which created an unpleasant overall ambience. We were not the only patrons who felt ignored; many around us had the same experience. There are now, more than ever, terrific restaurants on the Oregon Coast where we would be welcome to spend our $ 150+ on a meal. I would have left our server the minimum tip, but my mother insisted on leaving a far too generous gratuity of $26 for the most basic of service. Very sad to see one of our tried and true restaurants going the way of so many: downhill. The only redeeming quality today is, of course, the ocean view.

Appearance - We recommend sitting near the window and you'll get the view of the World's smallest harbor! If you're lucky, like us, maybe you'll get to see a baby sea lion. Taste - I'm a sucker for a delicious grilled cheese. I am quite picky about the cheese, bread, how crispy it is and what not. This one hit the spot! I specifically liked the seasoning (I believe it was parsley) they added to the bread. The tomato soup on the other hand was not my favorite, I tend to prefer more of a tomato bisque because it's creamier. Their's tasted more like vegetable soup. My husband ordered the chicken tender basket and they were nothing to write home about. They were very bready and for 4 pieces it was $17! That felt quite pricey considering it was from the kids menu... yes I know we are adults ordering off the kids menu, but we were just craving some homey meals when traveling on the road. Let me tell you about the popcorn shrimp though.... MMM I liked em! A lot! I'm used to having popcorn shrimp with the tiny, tiny shrimp but I enjoyed this switch up.
