The quality of their ingredients is good - probably the best I've found in the Eugene/Springfield area. Their vegan cinnamon roll is also good - rich/sweet frosting that balances well with the pastry that isn't dry and is sweet enough that makes you keep going in for the next bite. They have a bright, rustic interior with high ceilings, a variety of indoor/outdoor seating, and surrounded by a few local businesses (spice & tea, antique, plant stores). Service is fast, servers are friendly. This is a good place to wfh. My only qualm is outlets are hard to come by.

The staff was super friendly and I loved the organic options for alternative milks, coffees, teas and smoothies. They also have granola bowls available which I enjoyed, and a few pastries. My matcha was made with oatmilk and was really good, not too sweet. I heard there's a cat around but unfortunately I didn't see it :( Another huge bonus about this cafe is that they are open until 10pm on weekdays! This might become a new evening study spot for me! It's not like going to a bad bar or even restaurant where you still can eat a few hours later. Coffee has a small window and a maximum amount of intake. That being said, this morning we chose wisely. Not only did we use Yelp but we backed up our decision with a google search and that took us to Reddit. Equiano was a top suggestion on both sites. And we understand why. The service was 100% top notch. Helpful. Friendly and knowledgeable, not only about what they offered but about the regions best shops! The coffee itself was very expressive. The Camaroon was totally my style with an earthier tone and the Chai was delightful. The outdoor seating was so very comfortable with a unique sort of panache that I would love to have at my neighborhood coffeeshop. The raked gravel was a nice touch. And even though they didn't have indoor seating with the drizzly day, it was a highlight that I will be repeating in our future travels.
