There were a couple of cars ahead of me so I didn't expect it to be as efficient as it was. Immediately had a guy come out to greet me and confirm what I needed help with. So while I waited I chose to organize my car rather than go into the typical automotive waiting room. It was time well spent! So when it was my turn they took my car in for the inspection and I went to the waiting room. It was mediocre, but not dirty. The chairs could be improved and the tv turned down. It was so loud. Maybe choose programming that is neutral and not some reality drama show rerun? I wish I got his name, but the guy who worked there (who also greeted me) was most pleasant. While he didn't greet me with a smile at first (I don't necessarily care about that), he made up for in conversation. He loved basketball and has a daughter he provides for. He was professional with the other patrons as well and seemed to show appreciation for our business. I'd recommend this location for sure!

What stood out as much as the technical work: he flagged a slow coolant leak and a minor oil leak -- this is an older car, so neither was a shock -- but there was no pressure to pile on services. He showed me rough estimates so I'd have them when I'm ready and left the decisions to me. That kind of straightforward, no-upsell approach is rarer than it should be. The waiting area is a genuine plus: free wifi, a table big enough to work at, and a small fridge with complimentary drinks, large TV. My one suggestion would be to add a coffee in the AM. Also, the door to the reception currently reads "B". Might want to avoid any confusion with better signage. (I have my safety inspectors license, so I know what passes and what doesn't.) he said you need 2 tag lights to pass when the law specifically states: "One rear lamp or a separate lamp shall be so constructed and placed that the number plate carried on the rear of such vehicle shall under like conditions be illuminated by a white light as to be read from a distance of 50 feet to the rear of such vehicle." One of my tag lights are brand new and fully functional. These lube techs suck!! He passed me anyways, but be weary of uninformed lube techs trying to get you to buy more than needed. He also said he'd print out the "2 tag lights law" for me to read over ..?

Walked into the office to find nobody there. I waited for fifteen minutes while not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE employees congregated in the bay hitting their vapes. There was only one car in the three bays and one man working on it. The rest socialized continuously for fifteen minutes while I waited. Eventually left and went to Precision Auto, where I was immediately greeted and seen. If a business is genuinely busy to the point that it takes a while to greet a customer, fine. If it's understaffed and employees are doing their best, fine. But to stand around, talk, and smoke Juuls while a customer stands waiting is unfathomable to me. Customer service has fallen a long way.
