Bought a Honda navi from them. Great purchasing experience. Friendly service. My issue with them is the service department. I submitted two service schedules with them andboth times only received an automated reply stating someone will reach out. I've waited more than two weeks now with two online service scheduled request and two phone calls (both calls were initiated by my wife and I). Both times on the call was told that someone from the service department will reach out. It's been over 2 weeks. I get that they're backed up but maybe follow through with the phone call? Again, no issues with the people and purchase experience but service department leaves much to be desired. UPDATE: Christian from service department (nice guy) called today 6/5. Will update review again after service is done. Here's my update with the service department. I was sent an itemized repair order of the parts and labor on 6/8 for $584.70. Talked to Christian on the phone and confirmed everything is good per the quote on the same day. I got a phone call today 6/17 saying the bike is ready. But was told it's going to be $700+ (forgot the exact amount). This took me by surprised as it's not what was on the repair order. I asked why is it not the price quoted on my repair order and was told that he'll do some digging and call me back. He calls back a couple hours later and said that it needed a new battery (not sure how a new battery is needed if it's protected inside the bike and it's a brand new bike, was also told they don't know if it's covered by warranty). The updated cost is now around $650. This isn't even the full story. The very initial repair order was over $1000 due to replacing cosmetic items. So I said to only replace/repair what it needs to make the bike run (hence the $584.70 itemized repair order, attached photos). This would have meant that they would have everything inspected, so it's a little suspicious that a week later (today 6/17) I was quoted a higher amount until I refuted the total only for them to come back and say that it needed a new battery (a couple hours later). I'm not going to even argue. I'm just going to pay for the repairs but will make sure that everyone I know should stay away from Cities Edge Motorsports. Way too unprofessional and sketchy practices. It's unfortunate because I liked the sales team. I will take my business somewhere else. NOTE: I have not yet picked up the bike as I wrote this review. Will pick it up tomorrow 6/18. I took my 2024 ninja 650 to get the rear wheel bearing changed, and whenever I got it back for some reason, the axle would not go through, so I returned back with the axle so they could see what the problem was and they said it's because it's a new bearing so you hit it with to get it to go in, At first they were trying to say they removed some grease off of it to get it to slide in, which is a bunch of crap, I waited 24 hours to get a call to see what they were do and I didn't receive the call so I called back the next day and he said that they got it to go through they would not fix it the correct way , they said that a tech would look at it. We waited seven hours to no so we called them back and then they got a really bad attitude., whenever I got the wheel and axle back, you could tell that hammerd on the axel a lot , I would steer clear from this shop unless you want a crappy job done read more

Helping a buddy out with some repairs on his 2024 Ninja 650 as the rear wheel bearing on the right side of the wheel failed. The first parts/service guy I spoke to was great (not going to drop names) and got the parts ordered, good quote, decent turn-around. I go to install the rear wheel, of this still virtually new bike, and the axle wont slide through the new bearings, specifically the left bearing which wasn't even bad in the first place. Assuming the proper bearing was ordered and installed, it is clearly a manufacturing issue and not cities edge. We return the wheel and tell them the dilemma and they said ok, we will call with an update. No call to me or the owner after 24hrs. Finally the owner of the bike calls and was met with the typical "the tech hasn't looked at it yet" It would take any normal mechanic 5mins to determine that in fact the bearing is not to spec since the axle won't slide through it. Instead we were met with just idiot responses from another parts/service guy (not naming names) that don't even make sense... Here are some of the comments: We are wondering about the wheel spacers in case there is an issue there? Response: That is irrelevant since I cannot slide the axle through all the way due to the bad bearing so wtf does the spacer have to do anything... We were able to get the axle through the bearing, by pounding it with a hammer. Response: That is not proper as it should slide right out by hand just like it did during the initial disassembly, and, by beating the axle through the bearing not only are you going to damage the bearing itself you will, and did, damage the axle itself. We removed some of the grease from the axle and it appeared to slide into the bearing better. Response: WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU, the grease is there to provide lubrication against metal to metal contacts and your saying it slide through easier without grease. OMFG Keep in mind that the tech had no time to look at it yet but had all this information on hand when I called........ That's just some of the comments that absolutely infuriated myself and the owner of the bike. They had no interest in making this right, they took no time to evaluate the cause of the issue and just hit it with a hammer, they had no urgency to expedite the repair after they installed a faulty part, and finally after giving us no timely updates, forcing us to call, the parts/service guy started getting pissy and said "we will call when we have an update, got it!" Again, keep in mind he had all this information but the "tech hasn't had time to look at it yet" We picked up his rear wheel, axle, and rear sprocket (which they tweaked pressing in the new bearing for the sprocket) as is. They offered no apology, no refund, no remorse, and no clear path to rectify the situation. It's seems as though they want a negative review based on their actions and lies. I knew not to go here, I was told not to go here, and yelp reviews clearly state NEVER go here. Lesson learned. I am a part of some rather large motorcycle groups and every single person will be hearing about this. I hope this review helps all you folks out there to find a shop they trust that will provide better customer service than these clowns. read more

They don't do sales except by appointment, even if you're standing there with cash in hand. They don't offer financing except on high interest credit cards. It LOOKS like a motorsports dealer, but it functions more like trip to the dentist (make an appointment, wait your turn, oh, would you like to finance on our CareCard?). Save yourself a lot of hassle and go somewhere else. read more

Bought 2 new sleds a year ago. One broken switches, one no license. Follow up was to give wrong switch part and ignore my request for license help. Brought a used sled in for "expert service." I think they sprayed something in carb and charged $500. Worked twice after. Definitely not a fan of Cities Edge. Moon Motorsport in Monticello definitely worth the drive. read more

After working with Cities Edge and Clark, as well as his team, there was a large misunderstanding and I believe both of us could of improved our communication skills better during our interaction. Overall I have been returning to Cities Edge more frequently than my original dealer based on location, price, and service. I do enjoy the bike rides that Cities frequently has too which includes mini bikes like mine which I can never find around the area. read more

I don't know where the above and beyond went, but I didn't get any of it. Brought my motorcycle tire in for a new tube, and went to pick it up late in the day. I noticed that the new tube didn't have the 90 degree valve stem that the original had. I asked the guy there about it and he reassured me it was just fine, even though I told him my scooter has full skirts and is shaft drive (much bigger inner hub). My friends and I decided to go on a new road ride for the weekend. I threw my hand pump, some fixAflat and a few other things into my bags and off I went. As I rode, I noticed that the extra gear/weight made the rear tire feel a bit squishy, so I pulled into the Holiday. Unfortunately, they used a push/pull air fitting and it wouldn't connect into valve stem, not enough room and wrong angle. Same thing with the SA down the street and the next 4 stations. I tried my hand pump, but it had the same issue. I noticed that the Fix-a-flat wouldn't work either. Basically, if I got another flat I would be stuck. There. No repairs possible without disassembling the entire back end. Monday, I called the service department first, and then the GM, asked if I could bring my bike in and have them undo their mess. Initially, it was, "hey, you accepted it, no." I was not accepting that, so they agreed to fix the issue, but I'd have to pay for the additional work. Let's see, I didn't authorized the dissimilar non-OEM part (I guess Kawasaki put that type of tube in there for a reason), your people assured me, after the fact, that it would make no difference, and now, I have to disassemble my bike AGAIN and bring you the tire...when it would take your people 10 minutes to my 30 to get the tire off and on. Actually, they could have done the whole job in less time than it took them to explain to me why they wouldn't. Do not go here, for anything. They'll put in whatever part they have at hand, charge full price for it, then treat you like it's your fault. They will not go an inch further than they have to. read more

Typical dealership. They sell a lot of ATV and other small vehicle equipment. You have to haggle some to get a decent price, even on parts. And you need to expect late shipments, as with dealerships of anything... If a few people are ordering the same thing and supply is limited because of the seasonality of it, the supply will not go to who was first but rather who knows the guys there and if you are a regular customer. So buddy up, and stop by frequently. read more

I decided to take my motorcycle to them in early April for a carb cleaning. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with any mechanic shop. They ended up charging over $1000, most of that money without my permission, and then threatened to sell my bike. The first time I got my bike back it did not run so I had to take it back. The second time I got it back they still did not fix the problem, and when all was said and done after three months I had to take my bike to a different dealer. They scratched my gas tank all up, and broke my fairing in one place. The worst part is when I took my bike to another shop they found metal chunks in the oil. These were definitely not there before I took my bike to cities edge! Whatever they did ruined my engine. The service manager, Mike, was a total prick to me through the whole process. Worst service department I have ever worked with. No communication. Manager will not return phone calls. Took 2 and 1/2 months to get jet ski repaired this summer. Cost $700.00 and still not able to transport on road since they destroyed the backup light on trailer. Yes not jet ski the trailer. Communication is terrible. Repaired carburetors on jet ski at around $400.00. That was not the problem. Put in new fuel pump. at around $300.00. Do not know if repair since they broke the trailer light...no destroyed it...! Have waited 3 weeks for them to call to schedule the repair. I called 2 times Manager does not call back. P.S. I did buy the jet ski from them. Never again. read more

Brought bike in last minute, they were awesome and able to get me in. Replaced fork seals. Never bothered to clean any of the leaking fork oil up, front break rotors were coated with oil. Bike didn't seem to want to stop. Bad service if you ask me! Safety?...do we want our customers to come back and spend money? Maybe I'm way off, I would have paid an extra $20 to have that cleaned up and some front breaks. read more

I had them work on a GS450 that was running poorly. They told me that they did a full carb clean and it was ready to go. This was late in the fall last year and my son did not get his license till this summer. He just started riding the bike and it is running so bad it will not get above 40 MPH. He walked into their shop today to inform them of the problem, and they blamed it on the fact that the bike sat all winter and they want another $200 dollars to clean the carbs again. First the bike was filled with Sta-Bil in the tank, and the bike was started once a month till warm all winter long. They did not offer a test ride or even to look at it, they immediately can up with an answer to bail themselves out. What kind of shop does this to a 17 year old kid just learning on his first bike? I guess they don't want him to become a life long customer. read more

My first bike was a 650 used Yahama under $3k, and after 3 years on that bike I was ready for something bigger. Now I have a brand new 1700 Kawasaki that I paid a little over $13k for. Regardless of how much I was spending, both times were an excellent experience! Jamie helped me this last time and he was very knowledgeable. He wasn't pushy, and any concerns I had were addressed. I was a little timid about going to such a large bike, and he went the extra mile to find me a similar used bike to ride around on. Will never go back. Horrible service with unprofessional staff. Rented a snowmobile from them and called to make sure it was ready to pick up and they said it was and to come out anytime. When u asked where they were they responded by telling me to get a GPS. When I arrived to pick up snowmobiles drive 45 minutes to get it, it wasn't in and wouldn't be in for another 3 hours. When I said I cAlled ahead and you said it was in and to come right out they denied it. No apologies,just attitude. Any negative reviews on here I agree with. read more

RUN, DO NOT GO HERE! I have been to this shop twice for tires, once they rounded off the bolts on a brand new bike I bought from them when installing tires and it took weeks for them to get the replacement parts. I NOTICED the damage they were hoping I would not notice. 2nd time for tires (I should have never gone back) they goudged my sattle bags badly on my concours again not making mention.....they sell and service these bikes, they should know how to get on one without destroying the bags! Agin they did not fix it or offer anything other than a premium price on tire installation, shop supplies, tire desposal and calble ajustment for $179.00 plus the damage which appernelty is on the house and a guarantee upon each visit. I suppose you will have a desposal charge for the bike like the tires if you visit often.....again RUN, go elsewhere or just destroy your own bike.....it is cheaper and you do not need an appointment! read more
