I've just recently brought in my new truck for an appraisal at the Lakeville location for a minor scuff. I had read the good reviews on Yelp and so I was hopeful that I would have a good experience. The reviews were accurate! I wish I knew the name of the gentleman that helped me, but he was very friendly and was able to address the problem right away instead of making me schedule a service appointment. Of course, more serious damage would have required a scheduled repair, but I know now that if I ever need any kind of auto body work in the future I will bring my vehicle to LaMettry's. read more

I am so impressed with LaMettry's Collision in Lakeville! I had a few scratches on the rear quarter panel of my SUV, and when I called about getting an estimate to fix them, Lee told me that LaMettry's offers complimentary buffing to see if the scratches would come out without a costly repair. What??? Wow! I went to the Lakeville location, and sure enough, both KC and Todd took great care of me. They called in a technician to take a look at the scratches, and although deep enough to need repairing, they offered to use some touch up paint and the buffer to minimize their appearance (I have a black car, so the scratches weren't super noticeable, and I am fine not paying $800 when a little buff/touch up will do the trick!) Here is the really cool part: the same fender bender that caused the scratches also put a hole in my rear light casing. Instead of using scare tactics and other sneaky methods to influence me to pay for a repair, they said, if I felt I was able, I could order an after-market part and do the swap-out of the light casing myself. Done! That advice saved me $250! If I EVER need repair service in the future, LaMettry's has my business. They are the most helpful and ethical car repair business I have ever encountered. read more

After I hit a deer and the insurance called it totaled, I requested LaMettry's remove my hitch I recently installed. When I went to retrieve the hitch there was a problem the details of which are irrelevant to my post. It was a mistake but what counts for me is how the mistake was handled. I addressed the issue with Mick and instead of becoming defensive he acknowledged the concern and apologized for it. In this day in age it is rare for people to take ownership of a situation. The shop in Lakeville (wayy south)--or the other 6 kn the metro--are my auto shops of choice. I trust their staff. They do good work. They maintain open, frequent communication. Big plus. When it comes to a full service Auto collision repair this is it. I got myself into a crash a year ago and while it's never a fun event this business really does have a great staff and the best service to make it easier. I remember getting weekly updates on the repair process and I never felt I was being lied to or cheated. The service department did great work and really seemed to be passionate in there work. They cared so much even though I didn't notice they missed my protective bumper film until a year later they were quick to admit the problem and are in the works of fixing it free of charge! I would never use this company. I brought my 2017 Ford Exp King Rach to them. I was told they could get the vehicle in on the following Tuesday. Dropped off on Monday and was called Tuesday. They stated they had a bunch of other vehicles that came in and now they couldn't do mine until another week or 2. I was not happy of course but then they said what if they changed the schedule around and could due it the next day (Wednesday) and I agreed. At least I wouldn't wait another week or two. Next day I got a call saying they couldn't do it and asked if they could take it to the Lakeville shop. I asked when would they start. They stated they had techs waiting for the truck as we spoke and they would tear apart the vehicle upon areival and start working on it. I said great. 2 weeks went by and I got a call today saying there were 2-3 more vehicles before mine and they just wanted to let me know the status. I went off of course. 3 weeks and no work at all. Basically, it came down to this company will do anything to get your vehicle into the shop and promise everything. Once it is there they feel you are stuck to use them because it's been there so long already and you will just have to put up with it. Hard to trust them after their untruthfulness to date. Highly recommend staying away from them. I just received a phone call today from Allstate. They stated they sent payment to LaMettry's (without my authorization or approval), stated LaMettreys told them I signed off on an authorization so they could be listed on the check (incorrect), also stated they already started work on the vehicle (not correct) and that was the reason to have Allstate send them a check. TOTAL CROOKED and sounds like a lot of FRAUD going on. I will be sending my CONCERNS to the State of MN I pocked up my vehicle and took it to ABRA. At least they stand behind what they say. read more

We just purchased a 2018 Toyota Rav 4 and not even on the road two weeks and got backed into. LaMettry's took care of my car in the time they said they would and it looked brand new when they handed it back to us. They kept us up to date one what was going on and answered any questions we had. Pretty sure I couldn't be much happier with this place. I dropped off my car to get some hail damage repaired and was quoted two to three days to get the repairs done. They called me the next afternoon, so the whole job took just over 24 hours. They made every little dent disappear. It was magical. read more

Slow to complete work. Found damage from reassembly. Took vehicle back in and first guy from shop tells me that this is damage from my driving. In other words he indicates I am lying and trying to rip LaMettry off for damage after I picked up vehicle. Guess 10K LaMettry was paid to repair my vehicle was not enough for them. This is one of the South Metro top tier auto repair facilities. They do outstanding work even when working with less than stellar insurance companies. The attention to detail and commitment to customer service is very apparent. I am very picky about any work performed on my vehicles, but Eric and the staff at LeMettrys far exceeded my expectations! With lifetime warranty on repairs it's hard find a better value for your money! I will be sure to use them again. read more

I decided to go to LaMettry's in Lakeville for an estimate since it's just down the street from my work. The staff is friendly and professional, and the repairs on my car turned out great. They even contacted the person who hit me to get payment for additional damage that was found once they got into the repair, so I didn't have to worry about that. My car looks brand new again, and they even cleaned out the inside of the car (which is not easy considering I have 2 dogs and their hair was all over). I will recommend this shop to anyone who needs body work on their car! read more
