With that in mind, I headed to Advance Auto of Crystal River as I have been a long time customer there for many years. I'm the past, I've bought most of my vehicle, marine, tractor, and lawn mower batteries, along with various other auto supplies, there without any issues at all. The staff has always been exceptionally helpful, friendly, and seemed to value us as their customer. They also offer free windshield wiper and battery installations as a free benefit to their customers, which is a nice touch, although I'll usually give them a reasonable gratuity. Upon arrival, I explained the situation to Albert at the front counter and he immediately assisted me with purchasing the recommended new battery for my vehicle. He then brought the specified battery and tools to accomplish the job and met me outside in the parking lot. In just a very short time, the replacement was completed and he learned a little about what it takes to change out a battery like that in the process. Throughout the entire procedure, he was very helpful and courteous. I was very grateful for his assistance and was happy and relieved that I could sit this one out. We highly recommend Advance Auto of Crystal River. You won't regret doing business with them should you choose to do so. Five stars all the way!

1 star We ended up…read morepurchasing a truck here for my parents, but honestly the experience was almost completely ruined by the GSM, Cory Newell (not sure the last name if it's not someone named Newell nobody "remembered". The sales employees Chase and Edwin were actually very polite, professional, and respectful throughout the process, even during negotiations. They treated us like customers and were pleasant to work with. Unfortunately, the moment Cory came out, the entire atmosphere changed. He walked over with an extremely arrogant and confrontational attitude and immediately started making comments to the sales staff like, "We don't have to argue with them, this is the best we're going to do." His tone and demeanor were rude, dismissive, and completely unnecessary. There's a difference between negotiating and simply treating people poorly. We were fully prepared to walk out because of how uncomfortable and disrespected he made the situation feel. The only reason the deal continued was because my mom really wanted this specific truck for my dad. Buying a vehicle should not feel like being talked down to or intimidated by management. A GSM should know how to professionally handle customers, especially during negotiations, without acting aggressive or arrogant. Cory's behavior is the reason for this 1-star review. Wouldn't recommend coming here we felt so uncomfortable there on forward.
