At first they told me they couldn't tell me the availability and that they would have someone coming back and then they started to book but I haven't really been able to confirm exactly what I need. We recently purchased a new home, and we hired CitruSolution to come and clean the carpet's before we moved our things in. The carpets appeared to be in pretty good shape, but our 2-year-old granddaughter lives with us, and the previous owner was a smoker, so we wanted to make sure the carpets (where she spends a lot of time) were nice and fresh. Everything went great with the appointment. Taylor showed up on time and got right to work. He spent about 2 1/2 hours cleaning all the carpets in our home. He worked hard the entire time, the house smelled great, and we felt like we got a good value for money. Then, as the solution dried, my daughter started to notice a stinky dog smell in her bedroom. The yummy citrus smell didn't even last one day before the stink came back. But the real eye-opener happened today. Our dog is feeling a little stressed out from the move, and she threw up on our bedroom carpet. Needless to say we broke out the Hoover carpet cleaner to get that mess cleaned up. What we found in the Hoover dirty-water tank was disgusting. This carpet is anything but clean. It's maddening that we spent so much money on CitruSolution when our little Hoover does a better job. My friends who live in Broomfield swear by these guys, and they have miles and miles of carpet. I have a long-haired black cat and as much as I brush him, his fur sinks into the carpet. I really wanted to find a natural solution to get the carpet cleaned, so that it wasn't smelling like nasty chemicals for days. I could not be happier with Abigal and JJ at Citrus Solution! They were right on time, explained their process and benefits well and did a fantastic job with the cleaning. They were so quick and quiet I barely knew they were here! I have had a bit of an issue with pet stains, and they came back a few days later to treat the areas again to ensure all was taken care of. Wow, what a great carpet cleaning company! I really enjoy how little water goes into the carpets so I'm not worry about wet carpets. This is especially helpful in the colder months when you can't leave windows open to dry out carpets from traditional carpet cleaners. I have used Citrus solutions before. I chose them because I like the scent, and that it is better for kids and pets. I also like that they come in, do a good job and do not try to upsell their services once here. So this time, we were putting our house up for sale and I showed the technician an area that has been a problem for years. Others have tried and it improves, but it has never gone away. This area was a heavily trafficked walkway on nice white carpet. After Mike at Citrus Solutions worked on it, this area now looks brand new! I have to say I am shocked and so very pleased. Love this company, great people too! I had a baby vomit on my couch and rugs, so I wanted a cleaning solution safe for babies and pets. This was the best I found, and I was so happy with the results and smell. I even got a bottle of solution for touch up's in the future. I got the couch and 2 rugs cleaned for cheaper than I normally have one of my rugs dry cleaned. The other nice thing is I didn't have to leave the house and wait for it to dry for hours, it was dry with in 2!
