I got three different quotes before coming to City Auto and this was by far the most reasonable price, best customer service, and overall best service in general I've received. Ted was transparent about the cost and what they could do, and my car was in and out in three days. My car is restored to the way it was when I bought it, after two separate hit and run instances that left both my bumpers in terrible condition. Ted is the best if I'm being really honest! Came in because someone's door swung open by the heavy winds on my bmw passenger door and made a huge dent with paint chips. Ted had it done after a full day of working on it! It was like nothing ever happened! I was in awe and shock! It was also very affordable compared to bringing it into BMW and usually will take weeks to fix! Definitely reliable, affordable and best of all service is amazing! read more

Had high hopes for this place as the shop looks great from the outside and seems very cheap. However, The work they've returned to me on more than one occasion has been terrible. This is a Bondo filling with cheap layer on top kind shop. When they broke something during dissembling or reassembling they either just left it(and hoped I wouldn't notice) costing me another trip out there; or they just glue it or hide it. So at first glance the final product looks ok... but if you look at the details you'll be extremely disappointed! read more

Ted (owner) is as good as it gets! Very honest and does great work at a great price. I was initially skeptical of going here because his estimate was so low compared the the other big body shops I got estimates from ($500 instead of $1200). However, I went with him and the car came out looking terrific plus he touched up a couple of other little nicks for next to nothing. I also had minor mechanical repairs that my regular automotive repair shop had estimated - his estimate was 1/2 theirs and then when he got in there, they found and fixed another problem for free! I accidentally pulled too far up on a curb and pulled my front bumper almost completely off. It was barely hanging by a thread. I work for a major insurance company as an adjuster and went to one of our select service providers for an estimate. They told me the bumper had to be replaced and would take 3-4 days at a price of $1400. That just didn't seem right to me since there wasn't any physical damage to the bumper other than it not being attached completely. Found City Auto with a quick google search. I called to see if they could do an estimate and Ted told me they could give me an estimate immediately. Went in and Ted was soooo nice and friendly. He told me the bumper didn't need to be replaced and could be reattached. Quoted me $180 to reattach bumper and replace fender liner. I asked for an estimate to replace the bumper anyway just in case, and he quoted me at $680 which is less than half the price of the first shop. He said if I decided to replace the bumper they could have it ready before I came in and it would only take a couple hours to put on. He still insisted that only a repair would be needed. I'm going in on Tuesday to have the repair done. Although I haven't had the repair done yet, I am blown away by the affordability, service time, and quality of customer service provided by this shop. Can't wait to see how the work comes out and to refer future customers and friends alike to this place. Update: Repairs finished yesterday. Took a bit longer than expected b/c they rec'd the wrong part in and had to have the correct one brought. My bumper looks great, and I'm so super satisfied with the work and overall experience. Will definitely come here again for future repairs if needed (knock on wood) and will recommend this place to others. read more

Gave City Auto and Ted a try although I was a little skeptical since his bid for the body work needed was so much lower than a previous bid. When I asked for a bid he got right to it and gave me a written estimate and explained what he would do as well. The job they did was excellent and he did a little extra without any additional charges. Will return if needed and highly recommend. Ted knows his stuff! read more

City Auto exceeded my expectations. Ted the owner was professional, helpful and provided excellent work on my 2010 Honda Accord. My front bumper was damaged in a minor accident and needed to be replaced. He preordered and painted the bumper then installed it while I waited (less than an hour). I didn't have to get a rent car, so the process was easy and painless! I would highly recommend this shop for any auto body repairs. I have used other body shops in the past and they weren't nearly as efficient and economical as City Auto. Their work was well done and my car looks like new. This place is the best there is for body repair. We had two wrecks within two weeks in both of our cars. Bad luck there. Both cars are expensive, one a luxury brand, the other a high end muscle brand so we knew we were in for some sticker shock at each dealer. But we found Ted, based on these reviews, and are nothing short of stunned at his superior work, excellent turn around time, and honest business sense. I called all over the place to highly reviewed body shops, and found myself most comfortable talking to Ted. So I picked him. We will never, as long as we live, go anywhere else for body or paint work, and we will tell every last person we run across that needs this kind of work, that this is THE place. Hands down, doesn't get better than Ted and his crew. With the muscle car, we were told we had to replace the wheel at $1100, and the door panel damage would be around $1400 to replace the whole thing. Ted fixed it all, even the wheel, for much less, and it is perfect. He even washed the car (immaculately) after he finished it! The other one had minor damage and the dealer told me they would have to actually break the part off (still working, just damaged) and replace it with a new one costing around $1200. Breaking parts off to replace them didn't seem quite right to me, so I didn't let them do that and instead sought out a place like Ted's. He fixed it for $60! He used logic and common sense, didn't need to break anything, and fixed it correctly without having to replace it. We are so grateful! read more

I try to take extremely good care of my 2009 Lexus ES350, but when rear-ended a couple of weeks ago on Airport Freeway 183, my rear bumper looked like it was chewed up by a wood chipper. Fortunately for me, I was hit by a commercially owned vehicle who had great insurance to pay for my repair! I chose City Auto Body and Paint Shop due to the good reviews and their proximity to my home, and what a great decision on my part! Ted (the owner) was very friendly, attentive, and thorough in giving me the estimate and describing on his computer the parts that needed replacing. I was a little suspicious when he insisted that it would only take 4 days to complete, but I went ahead and left my car to be repaired, and rented a car to get me around. To my surprise, he texted me on the THIRD day to tell me it was ready! Before returning my rental, I went by the shop to examine the work, expecting to find at least one problem that would need attention, but not a spot to be found! Excellent workmanship, both with fitment of the new bumper, but also a flawless paint job. My car was also washed and cleaned so well, you would have thought I'd done it myself! I had asked Ted for any leftover paint, and he had a can waiting for me when I picked up the car! I hope I don't need to bring in my car again anytime soon for this type of work, but you can rest assured it will go to City Auto Body and Paint with no hesitation, and would highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants good work at a fair price. read more
