City Fun Center is probably as ideal as you can get for the experience of a modern (post-90's) arcade when the focus of your visit is playing the actual games. I tend to visit when I have family to entertain, but don't want to get covered in the filth and chaos of a certain rat-based child casino. And I don't feel like making the trek to mission valley just to get not good food and drinks at Mr. David and Mr. Buster's place. The variety of games here is good. I appreciate having some classics in the mix, but a few of the standards need help (please get Q*Bert serviced). Several pin ball machines are available as well. The redemption games are a focus, as to be expected. We've alway had friendly staff and the folks working the prize counter are great at keeping it together in a role that would probably send me on a grippy socks vacation. These folks are the heroes of the operation and do a good job of making the little ones of the family feel special. I'm a big fan of how clean and organized the arcade is versus its competition.

Very clean, new fun center in Poway by an In-N-Out with a good parking lot. Well-staffed, friendly, and courteous employees. Unlike Chuck E Cheese, everything was in great working order and all the tickets get added to your card. It is a huge upgrade from Chuck E Cheese but still squarely for kids. Lots of fun games like Skee-Ball, arcade games, and newer video games like Minecraft Dungeons. The mini bowling lanes do not require special shoes and have bumpers/rails for the gutters. There is a gorgeous glow in the dark mini golf course with 3D artwork for $14 per person (but we didn't play). There is pizza and a bar outside of the play area (but we didn't have any). There were a couple of birthday parties going on, but even then, it wasn't crowded despite it being a Saturday afternoon. My spouse said that the bathroom was clean Good place to visit for those with tweens!

What do you do with a kiddo who loves golf and pirates bring him to city of fun where the arcade is packed with all the shooting, dance and nostalgic games combine with glow in the dark pirate mini golf, laser tag and bowling all rolled into one. It was the perfect way to enjoy some fun on a Friday afternoon. We loved the glow in the dark mini golf although for only 9 holes it was expensive for the short game. The little mini loved it and just wanted to master each hole. Next to the arcade. $25 dollars on the arcade card lasted maybe an hour lol. At 6 you're playing for fun and not so much for the prizes. He was a little small for a lot of the games but that doesn't stop him from the excitement and his little heart exploding with will power to play every game possible. If we had his siblings laser tag would have been next or bowling so next time we will be more prepared. This is great for bday parties as they had dedicated rooms for gathering and the entire place for the minis to run loose. I loved they also had a separated food court so that gives the kids a break to refuel before loading up their game card with mommy and daddies money. Yes, still not old enough to work so here we are human atm machines lol. All in all it is small but we had a blast and loved all the Halloween decor! He was knocked out as soon as we hit the road back home! lol

Food is pretty good- limited menu of pizza, chicken strips, tots/fries, hot dogs, pretzels. My 8 year old loves this place for the games and we tried the food last night . Not bad at all!

First time here .. this is a smaller arcade , fun zone . This place is fairly new and maintained well . They have a cafe area ( we ate elsewhere this time ) so not sure how the food is . It's fairly costly so maybe look at their website and see if they have any special deals . Luckily I only had one child with me so price wasn't horrible . Friendly employees . I'm not sure if I would go again but I know quite a few people who visit here often so it's really based on what your looking to d

City fun center was really entertaining and it was great because it had good ticket games. The games were a little expensive. They also had an indoor glow in the dark golf course for 14 dollars for 9 holes of golf. Most of the games were 10-12 points with each point being a value of $0.10 so about one game play for $1. We got $20 per card which was the lowest at 200 points and it lasted us 1 hour and 30 min. The games were a variety of new ones and old ones but I would recommend the harpoon lagoon game for tickets. There was a variety of prizes but the higher ticket costs were for Legos like 90,000 tickets. In one visit you could get 2000 tickets. Service was good and the arcade area was clean.

A fun ticket and arcade gaming, and mini-golf, spot for the kiddos and the accompanying adults, but the pizza is GARBANZO beans! Came here to celebrate my nephew's 8th birthday, and he was PUMPED to say the least. His parents rented one of the rooms so my nephew and 15-20 of his friends could party the afternoon away. The room came with an awesome event host named Gia, who really took care of the kids and parents alike. Gia did such a great job, we spoke with their manager to let them know how great they were. Ask for Gia by name. I'm not sure how it was all packaged, but there was pizza, chicken strips, fries, tater tots, and loaded tots (covered in marinara and cheese). The food was most definitely sub-par. My favorites were the flat chicken strips and the frozen fries. As I stated, the pizza was bogus-really sweet sauce, cheapo cheese, and don't even get me started on the crust; it was like one of them lunchable joints...lol. For as cool as this spot was, they most definitely could improve their food offerings. They also had cake for kiddos. After everyone was done eating, Gia came in to play a special game with my nephew that earned him a ton of extra tickets. Also, each card the kids received (used to play games and stores your tickets) came pre-loaded with tickets and "tokens or points"-pointa are used for games and the tickets are redeemable for prizes, which was really cool. We even got down, and played a number of rounds of mini-basketball! They have a lot of what appeared to be newer games, that were in good condition, and the place appeared to be really clean. Bring out the kids, but maybe think about grubbing on some In-N-Out afterwards, since it's right next door. Thanks CFC!

So glad to see this place is back in business after being forced to close during the pandemic. This is a wonderful family entertainment center featuring mini bowling, glow in the dark mini golf (new!), and a variety of arcade and carnival games. Win tickets to redeem for prizes. The new location is airy and spacious. No admission fees just load up a card to play. Machines are exceptionally clean and well maintained. Kudos to this family-owned business for doing a great job.

Just had my daughter's 7th birthday party at City Fun Center. 12 kids and 13 adults. The kids had so much fun! Perfect place to throw a low maintenance birthday party because they take care of everything for you for a fair price. Food: Party comes with pizza and popcorn and drinks of your choice. Pizza and chicken were just ok in my opinion, but no one complained and the kids still ate it which is all that matters. Kinda reminded me of the pizza you get at the school cafeteria but to each their own. No outside food except bday cake but no big deal since the kids are just so anxious to play instead of eat anyway. Wish they had a fee option to bring in some of your own food that isn't available to buy there, but maybe they can think about providing an option like that in the future. Parking/crowd: Great parking situation. It actually wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be for a Saturday 12:30-3pm. It was busy but not super crowded. Everything is perfectly spaced out. Had a previous bday at Chuck E. Cheese on a Saturday and it was way too jam packed and party tables so close together. Activities: The kids loved the golf option we chose. It was also reserved just for our party until we finished. Elliott patiently facilitated and waited for our group to finish. Perfect amount of game credits on the cards provided to the kids. Extra amount of credits and a game to get a bunch of prize tokens for bday girl. Overall experience: would definitely book here again. Games are in great condition and appreciated that there were zero that were out of order. Also, so thankful I finally didn't feel rushed out of a place after our time was up. The time slot we had also felt like more than enough time for a kid party. Appreciated that they also let us go into the party room early since we arrived before our time slot. Steve the boss and Elliott our party coordinator were awesome to work with and did a phenomenal job. 10/10 would recommend! Thanks City Fun Center!

The fundamental problem is that homeowners are required to pay dues whether or not they are permitted to use the facilities. Although the young reception staff have generally been friendly, our interactions with the administrative office have often felt dismissive, inflexible, and unnecessarily rude. Even the entrance, with its locked metal gates and restrictive atmosphere, feels unwelcoming for what is supposed to be a neighborhood recreational facility. For more than a year, I have tried to resolve a dispute involving outstanding dues for invoices and notices I did not receive. Because we were not using the facility, I had no reason to know that charges were continuing to accumulate. Once I became aware of the issue, I proposed a reasonable solution: allow me to begin paying the current dues while we worked out a fair arrangement for the disputed past balance. Instead of treating this as a genuine effort to resolve the matter, the office responded with a rigid, collection-focused attitude and refused to consider a practical compromise. We were expected to pay everything immediately while still being denied access to the facilities. A community association should make a reasonable effort to communicate with homeowners, provide clear and timely notices, and work constructively with residents who are actively trying to resolve a dispute. It should not use mandatory dues and denial of access as leverage while refusing to discuss a fair payment arrangement. We were not asking to avoid our responsibilities. We were asking for transparency, basic courtesy, and a reasonable path toward resolution. Unfortunately, our experience has reflected none of those things.
