After texting several photos, they said they could replace it for their minimum price per job and scheduled me for two days later. I won't be able to see it in action until the next heavy rain obviously, but it looks well-made. We needed to replace 96 ft of damaged gutter & 4 downspouts. Daniil came out to give us a quote on a Thursday, and the work was expertly completed the following Monday. 2 of the downspouts were tricky, as they were next to brick walls with large stones sticking out of them, and had to make a slight turn to empty into the catch basins. My husband (a contractor himself) was very pleased with the work. An estimator from another company advised me that there was dry rot beneath a section of gutter, and included its replacement in their quote. I asked Daniil his opinion, and he told me there was no evidence of dry rot, just needed some new primer & paint. I appreciated that very much. We chose city gutters for a few reasons. We received three quotes. The first quote was the most expensive and also they weren't willing to point out to me that I was asking for things I didn't need - I had asked for seamless gutters. Well I figured out on my own later that I already have them! They didn't tell me and were ready to take advantage of my naïveté and install a whole new gutter system that I already had lol. The second one had a great rate, confirmed I already had seamless gutters, and very nice but was clearly too busy to answer some of our questions and also we found out by #3 (SC Gutters) that we would have replaced our downspouts with materials (corrugated) more prone to leakage (SC Gutters called them DIY). Both #1 and #2 told me I had aluminum downspouts. Sc Gutters was #3 and Daniil came by for the quote. He was very nice and explained to me the materials my gutters were actually made of, why my downspouts likely broke the way they did so early, and he also had the same game-plan as person #1 , with a slightly lower price point. It seemed to be the best package for us and our new downspouts look great and our garage is no longer leaking. I highly recommend them and can't stress how great and kind Daniil was. Our gutters were very neglected and overspilling everywhere. And we had a few spontaneous gardens growing out of certain spots. And one gutter spout was clogged and overflowing back into our garage.
