Strawberry and cream French toast, onion rings, omelette, chocolate chip pancakes
Madeline Z.

This is my absolute favorite breakfast place in Worcester! Such a cute small town feel with fantastic food and great portions. We have had the same server multiple times and she is so sweet!

Food was delicious! Services was good. They got us seated fast and our food came out just as fast despite them having a full house. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. The ambience is relaxed. Portions are great. Brought home lots of leftovers. Family owned business with friendly service and tasty food.

Bbq pulled pork omelet with their home made chili cheese tots and two English bread

This place is a must try if you haven't already try their chili it's one of the best things on the menu!! In my opinion this place is the best breakfast/ diner spot in Worcester!

Food: I got the city line diner breakfast, made to great quality and enjoyable. The flavor had the perfect amount of saltiness and savory Service: our server was great, made sure we had everything, easy going Ambiance: it's very family offering tables and a counter top, much like a modern style diner Location accommodation: location had a parking lot and can park on the side, it does get packed after 10am on weekends for brunch. My friend and I got there in a Sunday morning at 9:30am with no wait.

Hash Breakfast Sandwich

All I can say is WOW !!! This is a top ten breakfast. The flavors are there, the place is clean and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend a breakfast sandwich with their homemade hash. Everything looks great, definitely a five star review. #TopTenBreakfastsAllTime

First time here, breakfast food was phenomenal and we ordered items that aren't easy for some places to do well- eggs benny and chicken fried steak. The chicken fried steak here is special. I will be coming back for this again and again. We also ordered a chocolate chip pancake and it was massive and also exceptionally good for a pancake. Lastly the service was great too- never had to track down the waitress - frequent stop bys and coffee top offs. We found our new breakfast spot!

Strawberry Cheesecake Stuffed French Toast, Hot Cocoa (with whipped cream that I mixed into it) and a side of 2 scrambled eggs.

This place is a hidden gem. FOOD: DELICIOUS! Portion sizes are spectacular. Think Big Pinks in Miami or Big Daddy's in NYC. The sides are all a healthy amount and prices are super reasonable. You get A LOT of food. Entrees are easily able to fill 2 ppl. The only feedback I have is that I do wish they had bacon or sausage alternatives for people who don't eat pork. SERVICE: We've had great service the few times we've been here. Even if it's packed, we're seated promptly and able to order in under 15 minutes. The food is usually out no more than 15 mins after we place the order and the cook in the back with the glasses throws DOWN. There's always a smile on everyone's face, they make sure to say "bye/thank you/have a great day" when you're leaving, even if they're at another table and extra napkins are brought promptly. VIBE: I'd say it's a normal diner vibe but with cleaner bathrooms than normal. The customers are VERY diverse (since Worcester is diverse) but there are young people, old people, groups, couples, families, friends and whatever else of all colors, shapes, sizes and backgrounds. In the few times we've been there we've seen Asian, Black, Latino, White and Native people patron the place. We've seen groups for lunch, brunch, graduation meals, post church meals, breakfast, dates and snacks. Everyone left full and seemingly happy. I'd definitely recommend.

Oreo pancakes and hot chocolate

It was our first time coming here. We came for Saturday brunch. It's very popular. We were told that there was a 15-20 minute wait, but didn't even wait that long for a table to open up. We had hot chocolate and the Oreo pancakes. OMG, the pancakes were huge, fluffy, and so good! We both had to take half of it home.

Really enjoyed the food! Extensive menu with some great prices. There was a long line of people ahead of us but we only waited around 20 mins. They move quick! Can't believe how busy they get, but they stay on top of it to ensure service and food quality is still top-notch. Would definitely return if I'm by the area again.

Apple crisp French toast

Great time at City Line diner. The staff was incredibly friendly and gave good information on how long food would take to come out so we knew what to order first Vs last. The restaurant wasn't too loud and it was easy to have convo. We were able to walk in without a reservation for two people which was nice. The price point is about 10-20. Cheaper for breakfast items and more expensive for lunch entrees. The French toast selection was amazing and we went with the apple crisp French toast to share at the end. The food was very yummy but the hashbrowns could have had more seasoning. There wSeveral other foods we wanted to try so we'll be back soon. Also very convenient private lot right outside the restaurant.

She was working like a well-oiled machine. I couldn't even keep track of my own order, I dunno how she handled five at a time! I asked the nice lady which sandwich she liked and could recommend, and she suggested the turkey with bacon and swiss melt, so I went with it. It didn't disappoint. Quintessential diner fare, done right. I have to admit though, looking around at other plates. Why the heck didn't I get breakfast? Wakey wakey, I love eggs and bacey. I think you will certainly not regret taking advantage of the all-day breakfast. You may not think it, but there *is* an artform to executing diner brekkie right, and it would appear that Kim delivers. I overheard her talking about the development plans just behind the diner. You guessed it. Ugly cardboard condos! I think the diner will survive the onslaught of development and gentrification, but just in case... you better visit soon, because you don't know what you got 'til it's gone.

Small place, doesn't look like a diner from the outside, but once inside the back room, you can see…read morethe tell-tale diner shape. Interesting hot rod decor to distinguish it from the rest. Busy joint, tight seating, and energetic servers who keep attentive. -- Patty Melt: So much to like about this, from the marble rye (though I think pumpernickel) to the full size patty (better than the double smashed you get elsewhere) to the onions to the gooey melted cheese to the extreme juiciness and pleasing flavor. I didn't detect any Russian dressing, but this sandwich wasn't lacking for moistness or flavor oomph. A near-elite rendition and one of the best I've had in a while. Excellent. -- Fries: Included with the patty melt and a plentiful supply. The bad news: they're the dreaded industrial "coated" kind. The good news: they were piping hot and cooked perfectly, crisp outside, fluffy inside. The great news: you can substitute home fries. My server offered a sample of the home fries. -- Home Fries: I found them to be right in my wheelhouse for doneness, crispness, seasoning, onions, and overall texture and flavor. Superb. Between the good looking plates that passed by and my enjoyment of my own food on my first visit, there's sure to be a second. Looking forward to returning with my wife for breakfast and more of those home fries.

My bf got the corned beef hash, he mentioned it was good but very dry. He was rather eating my plate more than his own. I would say the corned beef hash is interesting as it has homefries mixed in, which was a bit much for us. Service - quick, got us in and got all of our orders correct even with a full house. We waited approx. 40 mins for a table though for 6 people even though we were quoted 20 mins. Ambiance - the ambiance was good, it's a nice little restaurant and has nice waitresses/waiters. However, for such a busy place, there is literally no parking due to it being so packed. Also, they don't take reservations on weekends, which makes it even tougher.
