We just finished dining at the plaza across the street at the Vineyard so this grocery store was just convenient to go to. We found parking just fine since we came around evening time. The store wasn't busy but we saw the line to check out. The stores closed the self checkout with many checkout station so people had to use the other one that only had 3 checkout station. The cashier line was backed up too so people just had to wait. We found everything that we needed here. We don't come to this Ralph often because it's out of the way for us. I checked out the pre package sushi they had but the price was toward the pricer side so I didn't get it.

They prepare food fresh on the spot for you in the back corner. Note it is strictly to-go, no dine in options. The gentlemen in the store were incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to answer our questions about how they prepare their fresh meats on the grill. Many, many thanks for the grilling demo! The marinated meats available all displayed in the case and they pull straight from there, it's fresh and made to order. We decided on a plate of chicken breast and a plate of beef lule (ground beef kabob). After placing our order, we had some time to browse the groceries and imported goods in the store. You'll find a wide variety of Middle Eastern and European goods. We picked out some imported Italian and Russian snacks as well as some lavash bread to eat with hummus at home. At home, we feasted! The meats are marinated and seasoned to perfection, tender and flavorful. The guys even cooked up a few pieces of pork ribs for us to try. And let me say, we may have to get a plate of just those next time!! The plate comes with salad (tomato, cucumber, dill, onion), hummus, lavash and rice. Don't sleep on their garlic sauce, that stuff is potent and HEAVENLY. Portion sizes are large and shareable in my opinion and prices are reasonable for the amount, and more importantly, the quality, of food you're getting. I also asked for some slices of lime/lemon on the side and they were generous enough to put some in my bag. The people working there were warm and welcoming. The guy on the phone the day before never told me that. They wouldn't do it. So I wasted my time and left angry because I am not a prime member. That's why I called the day before to make sure. I was so disappointed with this location. The Whole Foods on Ventura used to let me preorder my oysters and they always had them prepared over ice for me when i arrived. So that I wasn't standing around for an hour waiting for them to be shucked. To me it's just common sense to do a preorder for a large order and easier for everyone all around. Very disappointed.
