Tangerines for 99 cents only! What a steal!

What I appreciate about this market: 1. For some items, prices are way below average. 2. Also, they carry a good variety of fresh vegetables and fruits used in middle eastern homes. The quality can vary from low to good. 3. I have never had a bad experience with staff members. In fact, today, a couple of them were super kind and helpful. 4. In spite of the crowds, inside is reasonably organized and clean. What I don't appreciate: 1. Every one inside seems to be in great rush. People race around with their carts sometimes bumping into others. Shopping here is stressful! 2. There is plenty of parking, but the parking lot could be better spaced. The isles are narrow making parking and getting out of parking uncomfortable. Today, two cars parked in tandem right next to me bumped into each other while trying to pull out.

1/15/2015 - It offers a verity of fresh vegetables and fruits at reasonable prices. The store is clean. Today, after shopping at a local Costco and can't find papaya, I went to the Super King Market and bought some easily. It also shares a large parking lot with other stores.

The service isn't the best the food over there is priced right and they have great choices to pick. There is a lot of people. Definitely if you have anxiety I wouldn't go over there because it is past 24 seven. Parking lot is really hard to get into. A lot of cars. Very hard to park. There is handicap parking. Environment very crazy fast past. A

Items that I got overcharged for.

Always, always check your receipt. If you look on the way out, there is always a line at customer service area. All these people are being overcharged. It happens to me so often, that I always plan for extra time to stand in the refund lane. Ridiculous! Today I got overcharged $22. Need to get your act together. It seems like they're doing it on purpose..

They sell these items at our local Asian market here, but some items are a little expensive since it's the only Asian market in the area. I have visited a lot of different Seafood City locations and they are all pretty similar for the most part. At this location, this was the first one that I saw ube liquor, but I also don't know if that is a limited time item. What I liked about this location is that the aisles were fully stocked and they were not depleted, when we have visited other locations, sometimes they don't have certain items. What I really like about the food area is that there are different food options including Chow King and some Filipino bakeries also. I also like Seafood City for the simple fact that they have already cooked meals up at the front when you walk in if you don't want to cook a giant party sized pancit tray and just grab a smaller portion if you're only feeding a few people. Come prepared to spend a little money if you're looking to satisfy your cravings--they carry hard-to-find Filipino favorites, including Ilocos empanadas. As for the Ilocos empanada, the flavor was on point, but the texture wasn't quite what I expected. It was a bit doughy and lacked the crispy crunch that makes a great empanada stand out. Overall, a solid spot for Filipino food, especially if you're looking for authentic specialties and friendly service.

I bought a roll of kimbap there. Kimbap is a popular Korean snack that both adults and children enjoy. It is one of those foods that always tastes good no matter when you eat it. I was excited to have some kimbap, so I got back into my car and headed toward Bakersfield. While driving, I opened the plastic packaging and started eating it one piece at a time. Whenever I eat kimbap, it usually makes me happy. However, after eating about three pieces, I started noticing a strange taste. It did not have the familiar savory flavor of kimbap, the taste of the seaweed, or the flavor of the fish cake. Instead, there was a strange taste and odor that should not have been there. I checked the packaging for the production date, but there was no date or time recorded. (두리분식, Duri Snack) However, I was really hungry, so I continued eating a little more. By the time I had eaten about two-thirds of the kimbap, I could no longer eat it. No matter how hungry I was, the unusual smell and strange taste made it impossible to continue. I took some pictures and threw the rest away. There was a space on the packaging for the date and time, but it had not been filled in. Businesses that handle and sell prepared food should clearly indicate the date and time the food was prepared so that customers can trust the food they are purchasing. The kimbap I purchased at Galleria Market today had an unusual smell and taste after I had eaten several pieces, so I could not finish it and had to throw it away. What was even more concerning was that the date and time were not recorded on the package. It has been about an hour since I ate it, but I still feel nauseous and disgusted, and I am feeling quite uncomfortable. September 6, 2026, 2:00 PM

Pros: They have the best sigsig (fried chopped pork skin with onion, lime juice & jalapeño) I have had in my life. Their Pancit is mind blowing. Sometimes it's best to place your order the day before or early on that day. Great price point, large portions. Friendly patrons. Cons: Food sells fast, especially the sigsig. Very disappointing experience at Island Pacific…read more As always, this is not the first time I've had issues with the fish department. I specifically told the employee multiple times to cut my milkfish only and NOT clean it because I've had bad experiences before and wanted to avoid another mistake. I repeated "cut only" several times to make sure the instructions were clear. Unfortunately, the employee still cleaned the fish, removed the scales, and prepared it completely differently from what I requested. This ruined the preparation I needed for my paksiw. To make matters worse, another employee came out and started arguing with me, saying I should have been clearer next time. Instead of acknowledging the mistake and apologizing, they blamed the customer. The ongoing communication issues, lack of attention to customer instructions, and unprofessional attitude are becoming frustrating. When the same problems happen repeatedly, it's no longer an isolated mistake--it's a training and customer service problem. This store is starting to feel like a circus. Management needs to improve employee communication skills, customer service, and accountability. Customers should not have to argue just to get a simple request followed.

The selection honestly exceeded my expectations. The quality of the meat is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable overall. A few items felt a little pricey, but not enough to take away from the experience. I've already been back twice since my first visit. I stocked my freezer with bone-in pork chops, lobster, and several other items, and the pork chop quality alone was enough to make me a repeat customer. I also loved seeing seafood options like orange roughy and red snapper--items that aren't always easy to find or are often sold out elsewhere. Knowing I can run over and grab quality proteins without making multiple stops is a huge plus. Beyond the meat and seafood, I was pleasantly surprised by the pantry selection. I am an Uber eats driver and had a Shop & Delivery order at this Vons, basically how this works is I shop for other people who order to. I don't control what time I get the order. I got this around 10:30, accepted + driving time. I made it in and tried my best to shop as quick as I could! Again just doing my job, but it's hard when you're not familiar with the store (again this is my first time) so I struggled but still was literally RUNNING around to fulfill this order. A security guard came up to me saying "I don't mean to be rude, but they're not going to let you check out if you're past 11" understandable, I told him it was for an uber order and I was almost done, but I was just doing me job, he was understandable. Throughout my time shopping there (I believe the manager Miriam) was blasting over the intercom when the store was closing, causing me to stress out more while shopping. I was nearly done. I already felt guilty, but I was only doing the job assigned to me as fast and accurate as I could. I finally got down to 3 items around 11 Pm, just some produce. HERE IS WHERE MY GUARDIAN ANGEL CAME IN! I'm so sorry if I butchered his name, but I believe it was Julian, or something similar, as the manager over the intercom was constantly saying "Julian the store is closed!" "JULIAN THE STORE IS CLOSED!". JULIAN, THE EMPLOYEE WAS THE ONLY GOOD THING IN THIS STORE. HE CAME OVER TO GLADLY HELP ME WITH MY LAST ITEMS. HE UNDERSTOOD I HAD A JOB. HE UNDERSTOOD IT WAS NOT MY FAULT. HE WAS HELPFUL AND KIND. PLEASE PROMOTE THIS MAN! PLEASE PROMOTE THIS MAN HE DESERVES IT! He said it's not like I had 20 items left, i only had 3 that he helped me with. He ushered me to self checkout but then came the worst part of the night This supervisor (who I believe is named Miriam because that's what the receipt I got showed), was so incredibly rude. I'm sorry but if you're so rude to the point that you make someone cry, you shouldn't be working in a place where you have to interact with other people. She immediately scolded me, saying how "I'm only going to do this one time, the next time you do this I won't. I won't." Girl- this is my FIRST time here. What do you mean. I'm not going to even come back after this one. I already started apologizing to her, I felt guilty as it was, and I get why she was frustrated, but the way she verbally berated me is so unprofessional. She was rambling on and on while checking me out, making me feel bad despite trying to explain I was just doing my job, that I didn't deliberately try to stay late. She told me "next time don't accept the order".... Honey that's not how it works, just like you I'm also making a living. Just like you, I also get in trouble at my job, especially if I just don't accept the order or cancel mid order. Don't bombard me over it if you have a problem with it. At that point I started tearing up. She raised her voice at me during all this. Then she saw she made me cry and had the nerve, THE NERVE, to start saying "don't cry, I'm sorry I sound mean but I need to go home" WHICH is not true, as I found out by another employee that the supervisor actually leaves at 11:30, not 11, I was at checkout around 11:06. I don't know what her problem was. She's a grown 60 year old woman yelling at a 20 year old. You happy? Does making others feel bad for just doing their job make you happy? If so, get another line of work, or better yet retire. Don't work with people if you're going to behave that way at your grown age. I truly do apologize to all the other employees, I did not have intentions to stay past closing, and I was literally doing my best and actually running around the store to grab stuff. And to Julian, (again I'm sorry if that wasn't your name. but you had a backpack on and were on your way out from work) thank you for helping me get the 6 limes and the 4 Roma tomatoes for the uber order I had. Thank you. I hope you get promoted and get recognition. And I'm sorry you work under a horrible supervisor. I hope she gets retrained, or relocated.
