So any time I come up to the area I try somewhere that makes goetta. This was a nice neighborhood meat market that makes their own so i had to try it. It was pretty good. They do make it WITHOUT MSG, so if that stuff gives you a headache or if you have to watch your salt intake, they have an option for you! I bought a goetta, egg, and cheese sandwich and it was tasty. If I was nearby, I'd try it again. I also took a few pounds home and cooked it over the next week. Now, back to my search for goetta and on to the next butcher shop! ;)

As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the sweetest lady behind the deli counter. She answered every question with a knowledgeable answer and also a joke and giggle. You see wall to wall food. It's like a supermarket packed into a 1000 sq foot area. Anything from Lemons, chicken buffalo dip, bacon, organic milk, seasonings, pretzel buns, fish, steaks, burgers, Venison, Elk and beer. It's all here, a true one stop shop. The "Tomahawk" was AMAZING! 13.99lb....a little over 2lbs. Slow cooked for an hour, wow it was delicious! Delicious pretzel buns and the bacon cheddar burgers were to die for! The burgers were formed and packed in the back, boxed and ready to pop on the grill. The owner is one of the Hubers, so of course they have several of the most requested Huber items...Huber wine being one of the major items. Apple butter and fruit are available too. We used this location when it was first opening. The gentleman we bought part of a cow from…read morerecommended them. Once we received everything we were very impressed. They did a great job vacuum sealing and labeling everything. The cubed steak has been very tender. The cuts of meat have been precise and well done. We've had our cow for a year and nothing is freezer burnt. The hamburger was also well made. I've contacted them through Facebook once and they were quick to respond and very polite. I hope to physically make it to their storefront sometime.
