This first time coming here from Arizona, I had Sam- great guy, wonderful customer service. Super personable and I didn't feel like I was about to be swindled. Today I had Vladimir Diez- so far I'm $1.000 in by his suggested repairs! I was just there two weeks ago!!! First off, if you bring your vehicle in- automatic $230 if they find something wrong. We showed up excited to see a vehicle that was listed as new, but when we got there, it was covered in dust and jammed behind five other cars in a ridiculously cramped lot. They couldn't even move it for us to test drive because of how tight the space was. It felt like no one had touched that car in months. The salesman we dealt with was polite, and to his credit, he tried to help--but it was clear that Spanish is the main language spoken here, which might be a barrier for some buyers who don't speak it. The worst part, though, was the bait and switch with the price. The number listed online looked great, but once we sat down, they added a massive dealer fee that was never disclosed up front. We had a terrible experience here at Brickell Honda with Advisor Anthounette Munoz. She was extremely rude and dismissive!! We booked the service in advance, and got several confirmation messages and emails from them about my appointment, she still tried to overcharge me for the oil and filter change even though I clipped several coupons from their website. She told me the price has changed on Monday and they were only going to change the oil and add windshield fluid ( literally water!!!). For this, the price was $89.99!! What a joke!! After I showed her my confirmation email, and messages, which showed all the offers applied to my booking, she said nothing and I don't even know if they did what they promote on their website!!!!! Good: Car maintenance completed on time. No poor workmanship identified after service. Bad: when dropped off for oil change, dealer told me recommended brake fluid change interval was every 2 yrs. I questioned the 2 yr brake fluid change interval with the dealer insisting recommended 2yrs. So I had the fluid changed at 2 yrs based on what the dealer told me. Honda recommends every 3 yrs. Dealer called me during service to tell me the coolant needed to be changed with 53000 mi on car. I questioned why and was told because S Fl hot conditions. Honda recommends every 10 yrs or 100000 mi which ever comes first. The coolant temp is dictated by thermostat and not outside air temp. I did not change the coolant. This dealership has pushed other maintenance that was more conservative than Honda refs on past oil change visits. I do not trust the service Dept. In addition, was charged 3% for paying with a credit card. This is the only dealership that I've been charged a credit card us fee for high cost (as compared to independent shops) dealership maintenance. read more

They get upset if you are upfront and say you just want a quote before returning to buy, so they refuse to give any final price for the car, either verbally or in writing. Waited over an hour and the car we scheduled to see wasn't on the lot, they kept telling us that they were bringing the car and not cuz hing. When you go here BEWARE. They false advertise. Their General Manager "GM" sold me a Tesla that had a 7k option on their sticker I wanted that NEVER came with it. GM said it was a mistake. All my documents and pictures at time of purchase state it has the 7k option with that car vin, total lie. Mind you the GM took it 5 different places to get specs on it and he's a Tesla owner himself and still misrepresented this deal. You don't get 5 ppl to get specs on car, and own a Tesla and still mess up!!!! So he sold me a 49k MSRP for 43k which seemed fair. The next day we went to Tesla and they confirmed the info they provided me was false. We told him the car doesn't have that option and the car cost 39k, he still tried to convince me it did. Either way the msrp is not 49k msrp bc it doesn't have the option. So I'm not paying 43k for it. He then said he can't go lower than 40k msrp. I told him Tesla is selling them brand new for 39k w/ no dealer fee. I told him since I been Misadvertised, and as a satisfy guarantee company give me a better deal than Tesla so I can leave happy. They refused, and stated a used 2020 Tesla is more valuable than a brand new one. GM stated He'll sell that car for 5k more than Tesla MSRP to another buyer and by me sitting in his office arguing my point I'm costing him money and wasting his time. Company cares more about MONEY than customer satisfaction! DONT GO THERE! I was humiliated and embarrassed bc I had to return the dream car that I thought I bought after showing it to all my family, friends and positing it on social media. Regardless I was willing to keep the used car w/o 7k option as long as they give me a deal that is better than the same exact car new at a Tesla dealer. The staff member who appraised the value of our trade-in lost the keys to the car that we were trading in for a new car. Therefore, we could not collect several items in that car, such as the sun-pass, decal for the gate to our community development, etc. This appraiser stated that they would "sweeten the deal" due to their gross incompetence. (We received NO such sweetener.) The closing documents had to be re-written because they did not put the Vin number on the trade-in document that we needed to sign. (We alerted the sales consultant to this gross error.) The closing staff member was very busy with a client that had bad credit while we waited 3 hours to sign the closing sale documents. We paid cash for the new car but apparently this meant nothing to this dealership. It was very chaotic in the area where we had to sign the closing documents as two staff were chatting loudly by us. As seniors, we were treated with a lack of respect. We were told that the service department could open our trade-in the next day. Therefore, we paid for a hotel room near the dealership so that we could collect the items in the trade-in. Do NOT go to Brickell Honda! This review is for Honda Service The good - As with all dealerships the service is good. I credit our service advisor, Sam V. If you decide to have your Honda serviced there I suggest you ask for him. The guy is REALLY good at his job. He always bends over backwards to help us by honestly telling me which expensive services I can do without or finding me a secret coupon. The bad - This dealership started charging its customers to pay their bill. Let me explain - If you choose to pay your bill with a credit card you will be assessed a surcharge (about 3.5% with no cap). For us this charge was nearly $12. To me the credit card swipe fees that they are charged by their bank or credit card servicer are THEIR cost of doing business, not mine. Passing the charge onto me is a sleazy money grab. Because we refuse to pay more than another customer for the same service we will be looking at other dealerships for our next service. Let me tell you about a terrible and continuing terrible experience with Brickell Honda. On May 15th I went to Brickell Honda to turn in my lease and purchase not one, but two cars. Everything was going well, until the next day. My family and I decided to go out for breakfast to a place about 30 miles from our home. We leave the restaurant, get in our brand new car and as we are about to get on the highway the car starts to stall a bit, but continued to drive. Within 10 minutes a message that said "Transmission System Problem" came on. As we are arriving to our exit the car begins to stall and at this point it's slowly moving when the dashboard displays a new message saying "Transmission Temperature." The car was barely moving but we were able to make it to a safe spot before pulling over. When we station the car, my husband gets down to check the engine and it smells burnt. Everyone exited the vehicle just in case and waited for a family member to pick us up, mind you in 90 degree weather in Miami with my 4 year old son. I call the dealer and tell them what happened and their response was "call roadside assistance" which I did. Roadside Assistance said they would take about 90 minutes to arrive so I went to wait at my parents' house while my husband stayed waiting for the towing truck. The towing truck arrives and says he can't do anything because the transmission is locked and needs a special towing truck with a dolly. I call the dealer and let them know the situation and once again the response is "Call Roadside Assistance." I call Roadside Assistance and they quote me at 90 minutes again. At this point it's about 6:00pm on a Sunday. In the meantime, I decide to go to the dealer and speak to someone in person and the Sales Manager comes out to which he says " I need to take it one step at a time, don't lose sleep over it." I was livid. Since he said there wasn't much he could do at the moment I went back to my parents' house to wait out the towing truck since the car was stranded right by their residence. At around 8:00pm I call Roadside Assistance again and let them know no one had arrived yet. They told me the earliest they could get to the site was 10:00pm! Finally at around 11:00pm a tow truck arrived and took the car back to the dealer. The next day I get a message from my salesman saying there was in fact a defect and the gasket was faulty and all the oil had leaked, which explains the big oil stain my parents had on their driveway. Oh to which my 70 year old father had to pressure clean in order to prevent any stains. My salesman texts me and lets me know they are going to issue a new car and will have it ready for me. I leave work early and arrive to the dealer and the car was ready and the paperwork was printed for me to sign. Not once, did a Manager come out to apologize personally. I sign all the papers and I'm on my way assuming everything was ok with my vehicle. I get to my house when my husband mentions there's a piece of tape on the roof of the car. I tried to remove it as much as possible but from sitting in the sun it was pretty stuck and it's still there. It doesn't end there...Mario, who printed all my paper work and contract said he would send me everything via e-mail. It was not until I e-mailed the General Manager that I got my paper week 2 weeks later! Fine, I get my paperwork and let bygones be bygones...Not really because the saga continued...So I'm excited about using the new wireless charger in my car, but when I put my phone to charge it starts for about 2 minutes and stops charging it. We tried with 3 different phones and same issue happened every single time. I have scheduled a service to get it checked out but once again another disappointing issue. Thought it would end there? NOPE! I am driving on my way to work yesterday in my other new Honda and when I go to clean my windshield there is no washer fluid! I know it's a small fix and it was as simple as me going to Advance Auto Parts and buying it myself, but that was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. This dealer runs this place with no regards to its customer and someone needs to address it. I am still waiting to hear a sincere and in-person apology for the Management team for all the mishaps but that doesn't seem to be happening. I hope this review serves its purpose and someone truly addresses this issue. My current car that I got in December is pre-owned certified with an extended warranty. I went & was told a diagnostic would cost me $210. Really?!?!
