Booked a tee time at 1:45pm and was told they weren't doing power carts bc it was too late in the day the guy behind the Patrick was horrible said he had to leave early and that's why the last tee time was 2:03 and he was ready to go home so I drove an hr and waste my time and gas on a course that I couldn't play he also had no clue why they don't inform people they are running carts after 12:30 in the afternoon just shameful read more

everytime I have played here I have had a wonderful experience. the difference in the holes makes the round interesting and fun with the challenge of the tight fairways and houses on both sides of you. would highly recommend that you play here. In the fall you can get the sunset over the 9th hole if you time it right. super kid friendly and the people that live on this course have always been friendly and inviting. read more

Tucked remarkably into a senior residential housing development is this nicely maintained 9 hole par 34 golf course. The length of this course is not the challenge as the holes range (off the white tees) between 150 yards to 450 yards. Motorized golf carts would be wasted here. The challenge lies in the fairly narrow fairways with homes lining almost every one of the 9 holes from teebox to green. For casual golfers, this course is tricky as you'll probably find yourself oftentimes hitting near fences through tree lines. Water hazards and bunkers are present on a few holes but with decent shot selection can be avoided. This course is the definition of urban golfing wherein not much scenic nature. The 4 stars are earned mostly for good maintenance and convenient location, and affordability. Nice practice area at the club house too. The clientele was typical suburbanites trending towards the older crowd since the course is set in a 55+ community. read more

I have been golfing at Fairway for probably 10 years now. I don't get all the people saying that they have problems here. The only time I've seen someone get yelled at was when my buddy hit it in someone's yard and tried to retrieve it. That was kind of alarming but there are signs all over the course telling you not to go into yards to retrieve balls. This was a 1 time thing. Honestly, I've been asked by the residents along the course if I need some golf balls and are willing to give me a handful. This has happened on several occasions. The guys in the clubhouse are always nice and helpful. No beer sold here, so bring your own. I have never had anyone say anything to me. It's a decent little course for not too much cost. Tee times are usually available and you can get a quick round in after work. read more

My wife and I played here today (May 3) after having just moved to the area. We had a great time. The course is, as the golf manger put it, "a hidden gem." Decent little track, you can leave your driver at home though, I think the longest club I hit was a hybrid off the tee on the 460 yard "par 5". Greens were in good shape, fairways not too bad (been really dry here this summer), staff was friendly as were the homeowners looking on, a few waves and a nice little conversation with one. Not a spot I'd buy a season pass at but decent for a quick 9 holes. Cost me $17 for 9 which may be a bit excessive for a little place like this, but it is what it is. read more

The course is nestled amongst houses & trees - pretty, but control is needed. Conditions were good on the fairways and ok outside of there. Other golfers on the course were aggressive ....took a bit of the joy out of the round. Will be back if there are no other options. read more

I'll start by saying that I have never had a worse golf experience in my entire life than playing here. My problem with the course came from the awful people who live around the course and play here. The first group behind us had complained that we were playing too slow, so my group picked up our pace and were moving quickly and a bit rushed. About four holes later, a staff member came and asked us to let the group behind play through, having heard another complaint. Reluctantly, we accepted to keep the peace. This caused stress for my group, but we understood. On the next hole, a man came out of his house to berate us for my entire group for one of my friends not having clubs. He kept asking where my friend's clubs were, even after us stating that the course had allowed us to play! Irrational! Ruined our round by that point. But then, it got worse! A man in the group behind us was complaining! Screaming at the top of his lungs "HIT THE DAMN BALL". Annoyed, we picked up pace to just finish the round. On the next hole, 100 yards out, he decides to tee off!!!! What is wrong with this person!? He could of injured one of us. Completely Reckless! The course is great, well manicured, and fantastic for actual golf, but the people who live around the course and play there are incredibly awful. Unless you are a homeowner around the course, DO NOT PLAY HERE! read more

Fun little track. This isn't a pitch an putt. You will break out the long irons on a few holes. As for some of the comments about the folks that live there. I played with a guy who lived on the course, good guy, fast pace. No negative vibes from me either. Honestly looks like the local community looks out for that course. I played this course twice within the past three days and found it to be in extremely good condition and fun to play. I didn't have the negative experience reported by the reviewers here. The course was busy but not crazy. We let a single play through a we probably would have on any other course and when we had players behind us, we spent less time looking for the occasional errant ball....as on any other course. I didn't notice any "negative vibes" from others but perhaps it is because I'm a "seasoned citizen" and look the part. Nice course, plan to play it again. read more

Having read the previous reviews, I probably should have known better but I thought I would give it a try anyway. It is true that the locals are quite uppity and the course marshal thinks he is Matt Dillon ("Gunsmoke", for you youngsters). There is definitely a "hurry up" rule in place here, and God forbid you should actually relax and enjoy the game. Beginners and kids are surely not welcome, and there is barely tolerance for the non-resident golfers. All this fuss over a mediocre course at best. Yes, the price is reasonable, but the return on investment is not good. You would probably have more fun staying at home and running your money through the paper shredder. Unless your are a scratch golfer in a hurry, willing to play a below average course - you should avoid this one. It will make the residents a little less grumpy. read more
