Great spot for anything you could imagine! The staff was helpful and the shelves were clean. There was plenty of parking at this location and the signs don't lie, they have so much Halloween stock! This location is super organized and everything was sorted onto hangers and shelves. Small bits were sorted and grouped into plastic bags and hung nicely on the boarding walls. It was great for being able to peruse without having to dig through anything. I found that some items were quite pricey in the clothing departments but I got some houseware linens for a great price so its good to be thourough in order to find the best pricing. read more

just left the blanding boulevard store .It was 50% off day ,after stepping out I decided to look at my receipt because it seemed high for 50%off and 5 minutes and a calculator I realized that not even one item was half off. The manager took the receipt and all the items out of the bag and quickly realized I was right. After a full refund they tried to ring al the items up correctly and then realized the number did not add up. They called not one but two more managers over to the counter and after much discussions and about an hour of their time...made things right! I appreciate honest management. Buyer beware thought. I was looking for a thrift store but for nothing in particular. Saw an ad for this place and everything was 50% off for MLK day. Apparently every holiday is 50% off. We stopped in and place was busy but not terrible. It's clean and big with everything organized very well. I ended up finding 3 shirts and all for $11!! PROS: This thrift store doesn't "seperate" the high end brands from the normal brands or unbranded items. So it's literally like a treasure hunt. I've found an authentic Philip Lim 3.1 purse for $20! Still had the Cert of Auth card inside! A Gucci Mickey Mouse collab tshirt, and a few beauty bags from Dior, Chanel, & Tory Burch. They also have many nice tops, bottoms, and dresses. ALL thrift stores price up nowadays due to reselling, but I only go on the holiday 50% sale days! Those days they open at 7am, so me and my bestie go right when they open so we can get the best goodies. CONS: There is NO dressing room, which is typical, but if you wear leggings/biker shorts and a tank top, often you can try stuff on over it. That's why you need a shopping buddy- to tell you "yay" or "nay"! NO PUBLIC bathroom, which is crazy- but due to the area it is in, I can understand why. You should not go and expect to shop inside unless you have used the bathroom before going! It is a real INCONVENIENCE, but their policies are theirs, so make of it what you will. I love to hunt for goodies there, but be prepared for no potty, no try on rooms, and a few loose ankle biters screaming and running around. Wow. I guess I haven't been back in over a year as I used to frequent this thrift store when I moved to the area. They have really updated this location with wood laminate flooring and cut it down to half the size. I hardly recognized the place. They have a ton of clothing and we were there looking for a formal dress for a prom my sister had to chaperone [you know something inexpensive because you know you're never going to wear it again]. Well, this is the perfect place to find formals, semi-formals...heck, I even saw a few wedding dresses and they were really pretty. I like to come here for housewares such a book shelves and planters mainly because I'm cheap and don't like to spend a lot on those things. And I found a nice one that I could use as either a shelf or a planter. Score! It was only $10 and looked brand new. The entire store seemed to be merchandised with items neatly organized by department, product category, size and color. Departments for men, women and children and other merchandise categories were prominently marked for easy navigation throughout the store. What an improvement. The customer service here is exceptional and all for a great cause. The manager (a.k.a. the money guy who determines how much to price the items) will definitely work with you with prices which I think is awesome because, hey, the stuff is used and DONATED and I like a good bargain. They do get some nice furniture pieces in and if I had the room, I would totally contemplate looking here. It's probably, like most thrift stores, a hit or miss depending on what you think you need at the moment. I hardly ever leave empty handed at this location. I commend how they sort their clothes here- it is by type AND size so you don't have to waste your time sorting through an entire rack of dresses only to find out there are only a few in your preferred color and size. The dressing room and building is a little dilapidated, and the times I have been there is no music on so it's very quiet but the staff is friendly and helpful and there is a wide variety of clothing for men women and kids, housewares, baskets, vases and flower pots, pictures, linens and a very small selection of furniture. Check the banner sign as you come in for the sale color of the day and notice of upcoming sales where everything in the store is half off (usually on holidays like Columbus Day, Labor Day etc.) prices are reasonable even without sales, but if you can find a sale tagged item it's half off the marked price! read more

Came to this thrift store looking for children's books. I found some that were with 50% off stickers for that day, but the cashier did not honor the discount. I ended up paying $5 each for 3 used books. I felt so ripped off. I could have received a better deal going to Books-A-Million, and had new books that were not torn and used. I will never go back. I went this morning to check this thrift store out for the first time. As others have said, the clothing was organized by type and size but today I was focused on decor items. Shoppers were dancing around to the 60's and 70's music they were playing. I found several art glass pieces right away. They may have come from Italy or Home Goods, who knows? They were offering an addition 30 percent on blue tagged items but I had everything but. A customer whispered to me to ask for the senior discount. When everything was rung up with the senior discount I saved $9.42. I finally got a perk for getting older. My total came to $23.42 including tax. Average per item approximately $2.71. On a rare blitz of thrift stores, I saw that this was rated #1. Of course, I had to see for myself. The big banner said "50% off all merchandise" but that was definitely not true. (I missed the word "Monday" at the top). Only certain color tags were on sale. The prices were reasonable and it was organized like a strict OCD manager had it under control. Very easy to see various styles like 'Sleeveless Women's Shirts, 'Medium Shirts', 'women's Capris', you get the drift. I loved their outfits arranged on the clothing end caps. Vintage, oh my goodness, so vintage patterns for $0.99, I found a very nice Cusinart Juicer for $10, the usual prices for clothes and furniture. I saw some rather fabulous pieces, including outdoor patio furniture and a huge selection of large mirrors. Music was oldies and the staff was singing and dancing as they worked. Staff was also very helpful and upbeat. The check out process was easy and clear cut. Definitely recommend. read more

I visited this thrift store on 02/21/22 President's Day sale. I purchased $177 worth of mostly baby clothes. A large portion the items purchased I found later were not given to me when I left the store. Approximately 9:30pm I received a call from Ivy who provided excellent customer service saying she found the bag and it will be placed the office for pickup. Then called the next day spoke with Charles the store mana who was also rude. They hung up on me several times threatening to call the police when I came to retrieve my missing items. I live a good 30 miles from the store and it took up the majority of the next day trying to avoid confrontation to get my items. It very poor customer service. I waited for hours in my car for a police escort. The management team is awful and totally disrespected me as a customer. read more

I have been coming here for YEARS, when it was still Thrift Town. Well, I guess the town grew into a city but other than that there have been few other changes with this place. It's organized by size and there's always a great selection. It doesn't seem like a lot of people know about this place and if they do they clearly aren't after the same things I am because I'm always scoring in here. It's pretty inexpensive and they have a different tag color that's on sale every day. The only con here is that a lot of the time there is only one dressing room. City Thrift is absolutely one of my favorite ways to spend a few hours. read more

I love this store, last week I bought a new Vera Wang tee shirt for $1.98! The best thing about this store besides the bargains and friendly help is the way the store is laid out. If I'm looking for a short sleeve medium ladies blouse, I just go to that section. Everything is not jumbled together wasting time hunting for something in your size. The City Thrift Store has Am-Vet trucks outside, not clear if that is their charity or not. They are well organized, most clothes are sorted by size, everything is priced individually. Quality names are a little scarce, but you can find them. Don't know if my timing was off, but the place was hopping, lots of folks milling around. One dressing room only, with a line. Long line at the check out. I put the two items I was interested in up and walked out. Maybe I'll try again some other day. read more
