I have been a patient of Dr. Jun for several months. I had pain all over my body, including neck, back, and hip, for a very long time, and I've tried PT and chiro before which didn't work very well. So I came to Dr. Jun to see if he can help. During my first time visit, Dr. Jun did a comprehensive assessment and used acupuncture and cupping to reduce my pain. He also gave advice on daily exercises and diet to help manage my pain. I then began to visit him twice a week for the first 3 months, and my pain has largely reduced since then. Dr Jun is the absolute best when it comes to sorting out/fixing whatever issues you have with your body. I have a business downtown as a personal trainer/corrective exercise specialist, and any time my clients have any sort of physical issues that they're dealing with I always send them to him to get them sorted and back on track as soon as possible. Whether it's issues with tendinitis, inflammation, tight/overactive, muscles, headaches, you name it; Dr. Jun knows what he's doing when it come to the body and more importantly how to fix all these issues. One thing I like is that he utilizes a lot of different techniques to get the job done, depending on what works best for the specific situation. I started my chiropractor journey with Dr. Alex at the beginning of 2020, and it has been the best treatment... wish I would've done it sooner! I always had posture problems from sitting 8hrs/day, and tight muscles from working out everyday. After the first couple visits, I noticed a huge difference and it helps to practice effective mobility stretches/exercises that Dr. Alex recommended. He caters the treatment to be suited for your body's health and needs. He is also super kind, caring and polite! Recently, I tried acupuncture & cupping for the first time with Dr. Jun and he did so great easing myself into the treatment. He has been in the field for a long time and is very knowledgable. I learned a lot when he explained more about the practice and how it affects the body. He was able to accurately evaluate my body type just by looking at me! I was stunned...felt like he knew my body way better than me. Dr. Jun started with a few needles and gradually did more each time I visited. It did not feel much but little pricks, but the cupping...oof it is a pain that feels good and worth it!! From my experience, the cupping felt uncomfortable at first but got used to it after a few minutes of deep breathing. Afterwards, I felt like a million bucks, all the tension in my muscles felt so relieved! I have rounded shoulders and bad posture so this was new to me, the feeling of my body relaxed. Since it was my first time, I felt extremely sore like ill body aches for 2 days. But the treatments afterwards, I didn't feel too sore besides touching the bruises from cupping. The street parking can be hard depending on the space availability but there are paid parking structures nearby. The office is super clean, I see them sanitize rooms after each client's appointment. The building that the office is located in is well regulated with security at the front door. Last week I visited Dr. Jun with a serious shoulder injury from playing squash. He tested my range of motion which was very slight. After two treatments I've had a remarkable recovery to maybe 75%. I was diagnosed with Bells Palsy and was recommended to do acupuncture. I sought Dr. Paul Jun for acupuncture and as a first timer receiving acupuncture, I was nervous, but he really made me feel welcomed and comfortable. He explained the process and always ensured I was comfortable with the treatment plan. I came in with pain and droopiness to the left of my face and by the third session, my pain was completely gone, by the 7th session I had gained feeling and movement to most of my left side of the face. Dr. Jun is a very conscious and direct doctor. He desires to understand you as a person, your day to day lifestyle, and how his style of treatment will make you your best self. One skill and aspect I love about this practice is his ability to listen. He is very interested in hearing for you about how his treatment are effecting you both consciously and unconsciously. Dr. Jun is a miracle worker. I had a pretty painful muscle problem in my lower back this summer, so a friend recommended acupuncture with Dr. Jun at City Wellness, saying he had "healed her."
