They came out on a…read moreThursday the tech diagnosed the problem, and informed me that the office would gain approval for the repair and that HOPEFULLY they could repair my unit on Friday. Friday went by no-one contacted me. On Monday morning at around 9am I contacted them and was told they would check the status and call me back. At 3:30 pm I called AGAIN as no-one had returned my call as promised. I spoke with the owner (who called me rude by the way). But at this point after waking up in a pool of sweat for nearly a week every night with no end in sight I was VERY FRUSTRATED. She stated another tech would come that night and look at the unit to double check and ensure the first tech diagnosed it correctly. I informed her I would not be at home, and she stated that was fine he did not need me to be there. She ASSURED me that she would call and email me that night and let me know the diagnosis. No contact Monday, or Tuesday. At around 1PM on WEDNESDAY I got the following email.... Hi there Mrs. Booher- we are trying to touch base with you all to come back out to take a look at your unit, as when our tech did come out on Monday night, nobody was home and the unit wasn't running. If you would like us to come back out and look at your unit, please give us a call back at 706-796-2688. Thank you so much. It took her two days to relay that to me!!! So it has been nearly a week since the first visit. And my unit is still not repaired I can not attest to the quality of their work but their communication leave a lot to be desired. I am going to contact my home warranty company and see how they want to proceed. I will update my review if this company does any work to my unit.

    Busby's doesn't Disappoint…read more I've reviewed this business before. The last review was "5 Star". We have been with Busby's for 30 years. They stand behind their people and their products. They conduct business in a timely manor with professionalism. Recently we had trouble with our system from Helene. We are club members so we were seen fairly quickly. We met Kyle Conrad. What an excellent service provider for Busby's Heating and Air. Kyle is friendly and knowledgeable; he works efficiently and is very thorough. We will request him for any future concerns.     I want to start with the technician who came out was very nice. However, that's the only good part…read moreof our experience. We were given an appointment with the time frame of 11am-6pm. At around 5pm we received a call asking to change our appointment, so I spent my day off waiting the entire day at home waiting for someone to show up. We had to change our appointment. When they came to our appointment, a few days later, we were quoted $450 to unclog our drain and tried to sell a few things to us that were not necessary. We ended up unclogging the drain for free by ourselves (seems to be a very common problem with a very simple fix if you have a shop vac). The prices of this company seem to be very extreme and not worth the money. Very disappointed. Will be using a smaller company in the future when having problems with our HVAC.

He was very professional. He stayed late and completed the job. If I ever have any issues I will definitely call ARS. Thanks Buddy for all the hard work. Thanks ARS/Rescue Rooter Columbia. Jason came out today and installed my second unit downstairs. ARS is lucky to have dedicated workers like this. Jason got here this morning and worked hard all day to install this unit. He took his time to explain the new nest thermostat and help set it up as well. Thanks for the professional installation as well as the hard work. I would definitely recommend ARS/Rescue Rooter Columbia.

    We had a new unit and duct work installed in Jan of 2026. We asked if (2) units would be necessary…read moreto cool our house properly. We were assured that they could install (1) unit with new duct work that would satisfy our concern. Now that summer is here in GA with 95 degree days, our house AC is worse than the previous system. We have a new unit that is cycling on/off constantly and needs to be run at a low temp in order to cool the other end of the house. The poor circulating portion of the house is roughly 6 -7 degrees hotter with a high humidity level. We had their service techs come out (4 times) and they state the ducting needs to be corrected in order to fix the problem. They've told us each time that it is documented and we should expect a call from their manager that day or by Monday. We have never heard from their manager to schedule a time for the duct to be corrected. I've called their useless call center 10 times / hung up on 2 of those times. Called Home Depot twice still with no results. This is now going on for over a month. Their lack of customer service is awful and is costing me extra money on a daily basis. If you want a HVAC provider who has terrible customer service, won't honor their guarantees, won't call you back, cost you additional money, and provide you with extra grief then ARS is right for you. I will follow up this review with updates until I'm a satisfied customer. Dennis B
