As a fitness professional who sweats A LOT, it's really hard to find a lash expert that can keep me looking awesome for two weeks at a time -- but Katie makes it happen. She has even offered me tips and tricks to help my lashes last longer as I tend to get them wet more often than your average client. Being a regular for eyelash extensions at Robin Erb is sort of like dating a really, really…read moregood-looking but complete douchebag. Ladies, Let me explain. At first, they make you really feel beautiful. You receive a ton of positive feedback and you're obsessed. Naturally, you go for the two week fill-in, and decide it'll be a summer fling. After a while though, they start draining your wallet, and make you feel super insecure without them. You know you inevitably need to break up, and that the relationship isn't healthy and can't last, but for whatever reason you keep going back, spending more money, and making excuses why you need them past Labor Day. Once it finally ends, you look at yourself in the mirror, and feel really ugly. You try to rebound quickly with Sephora, but it isn't the same, and you'll miss Robin Erb. Luckily, time goes by, and you eventually accept your natural lashes once again, and eventually feel pretty without your extensions. You go back to your drugstore mascara, and your real-life relationship will thank you for it. P.s- it is true. Robin is really, really pushy and does not accept "no" for an answer. She does do lovely lashes and this is a lovely salon, but take this as a cautionary tale.

(Looking fabulous, too, I might add :)) Before my lashes I had to put on about 100 coats of mascara everyday to look decent. My lashes look so real that not even my family and close friends can tell. Well, actually... that's not entirely true. My mom (who doesn't miss a beat) noticed right away. When she saw me for the first time with my lashes she said "Where did you get those long eyelashes from? You've never had pretty eyelashes like that." Gee, thanks mom. But, she did say they looked very natural when I told they were extensions... WOW! A compliment... I'll take it however I can get it from her, lol. I'm so happy that I went with her to do my lashes. I'm asian and have short fine lashes. She carefully put on each eyelash and the results were great. They look very natural which is what I wanted. I didn't want to over do it because I work in an office. I used to wear eyeliner and mascara every day, but now don't need to with my eyelash extensions. I'm looking forward to getting them done again in a few weeks for my wedding! Chy is located downstairs of the Park Plaza Hotel. She has a nice little room in the back of a salon, which was very private. Chy was very friendly and I highly recommend her work!
