Got lash extensions done for the first time today. She did an amazing job, it was very clean and meticulously done. She was right on time and the building is very beautiful. I asked for a natural look and she did that perfectly. People have told me these are some of the best lash extensions they've seen. It is more pricey than other places I looked at but I feel like because of the quality of the work that's understandable. I will definitely be only going here for my fills. Side note, there is parking at the building which is quite pricey as well, but she explained to me there are other options for parking :) just something to keep in mind! read more

I've gotten pretty lazy in my old age (going to be 40 soon) so putting on and taking off mascara has gotten to be a chore (first world problems, right?) So I tried lash tinting with Christine after doing a lot of research. This is a convenient location (I went to the Seaport one), very clean, and cute office. I was given a mask to wear since this is a close contact service. I heard that lash tinting hurts because inevitably the dye gets in your eyes but this did not happen to me thankfully. Christine was very careful and gentle. She is very conscientious as well as I was given a plastic glove to tap on the screen when I paid. I love the results. I google shopped for anoth place near me....My experience....Did not give me what I ask for upcharged me as a new client. Requested classicbut tech pushed hybrid even though I explain I did not want that kind if look. I wanted natural I got a fan...on my lids. When I explained that was not what I wanted she proceeded to tell me my eyelashes would not look right with classic. So now I have these lashes I did not ask for. Did I mention the scheduling issue because it was a mild communication error. But just be aware when you decide to go here. Christine is amazing. I've been to a few different places in New York and Boston, and Christine is the best. She's very talented and incredibly detail oriented. I have decent volume and length in my eyelashes but they are VERY straight, which means they're not easy to work with, but she was able to make the fake lashes look beautiful and natural. She trained in South Korea and New York so she really knows what she's doing. Her office is immaculate and calming, and she's very kind. Takes COVID protocols very seriously which is great. The only downside is that it's quite expensive but so are the other eyelash studios in Boston. I would definitely recommend CJ eyelashes/Christine to anyone who wants high quality - it's worth it. If I could spend money every month getting my lashes done, I would get them done every time by Christine. This was the first time I've ever gotten eyelash extensions, but Christine made it such a wonderful and pleasant experience for me. She was so gentle that I literally fell asleep during the process. I will start by saying that Christine is who you would consider a Master Lash Artist. As things slowly start to open back up amid COVID-19, I randomly decided to browse other lash studios and am so happy that I came across CJ Eyelash. I have been getting my lashes done for about two years now, having tried both extensions and lift/tint, and have been a client to what some may consider- two of the more popular lash boutiques in the city. Although I've previously had great experiences at both places, neither one amazed me enough to write my first review in the all the years I've held a Yelp account. I am all about customer service and Christine provides just that! She is easy to communicate with and responds via text in a timely manner. She advised me on how to prepare for the appointment (great for first time clients w/ no prior lash experience), explained the procedures of how to enter the building as she is located within an office space, and provided safety guidelines that would be expected of me upon my arrival as well as, the safety measures she is taking to ensure a hygienic and sanitary environment. Her space is small but extremely cosy, minimalistic, and most importantly clean. Christine explained the different lash options (mink or silk), guided me through the kind of looks and length I might've liked, and considered my eye-shape to determine what style would be best for me (a sign of her client experience especially if you have smaller sized eyes). She is gentle but quick and the end result is extremely amazing! Throughout the appointment I felt relaxed, falling into a light sleep as she played peaceful music in the background and breathing in the calming scent from her diffuser. I cannot recommend her enough if you are looking for a professional lash stylist who will listen to you and does impeccable work. Don't waste your time or money here. I've experienced numerous eyelash salons and this has been by far the worst. Booked for the 2 hour 3D/4D volume lashes for $310. She sees me and says "oh only 1 hour for you, you have no lashes" so I said ok then less money if it is half the time and half the product. She says no. I stayed unfortunately. No pillow under knees or back laying on a pretty hard surface For exactly 55 minutes. She shows me a mirror (which I can't see that well without my glasses on). I pay and still give her 20% tip. Hey, I'm not the one who is going to be the ass here. I put my glasses on and ask "why are there no lashes at the end on my right eye"? She says they are too short and curl too much. Wow. Ok. So I leave. Wait 2 days to get lashes wet. And here they start falling off. Yep. I had the lashes on for 4 days. They were so sparse I felt like a other salon would charge me full price for a new set and not a fill in. Yes. THAT BAD. read more
